My husband AJ and I literally had the perfect experience with the team we worked with (Rush, Bob, and Juan) for our move from NYC to Boston recently. Despite COVID and snowy conditions on our moving day, they made the experience seamless and stress-free for us. Details of our experience are below but would highly recommend using them for anyone planning a move! PRE-MOVE & QUOTE Tasko answered every little question I had and always responded promptly (always within 24 hours, often within a few hours). Over 30 emails back and forth: COVID precautions, inventory changes, disassembly & assembly, how it would affect the price, and so on. Some of these exchanges made me realize I forgot to include a few big items. He gave me a quote and was fully transparent for how it could change (which in the end was exactly what was quoted). Leading up to the move day, I received email confirmations for time arrival and Rush arrived right on schedule for a quick assessment before the rest of the crew joined. PACKING DAY The team wore Surgical masks, hand sanitized, social distanced, and always stopped immediately anytime I had a question. Rush, Bob, and Juan were extremely thoughtful and very considerate for any items needed for the night (since moving was the following day). Every single item was carefully packed with the utmost care. SO FAST. 2-bedroom apartment packed in 2.5 hours (I was expecting it to be 6). But also high quality -- everything unpacked in our new place was in perfect condition. MOVE DAY Rush called ahead to communicate their ETA (while it was snowing) and still arrived in the time slot he communicated. They cleared out the apartment and walked with me for a final inspection for any last items to take. They even cleared out all the garbage of extra packing materials and tape ends. Rush said he'd reach out at regular intervals throughout the drive (from NYC to Boston) to put us at ease and did exactly that (calls and texts). They arrived before we could at the new place and they began the work sending pictures and used perfect judgement for where to place our things. I asked to move some items to different rooms, and they did so immediately with no fuss. Furniture unpacked, asked about orientation, and again, final walkthrough of each room as well as the moving truck that everything was to my satisfaction. FINAL THOUGHTS We've had over 5 multi-state moves over the past few years and Rush, Bob, and Juan were by far the best team we've worked with providing us a phenomenal and truly perfect experience. I don't know how else to begin this review other than saying this moving company LIVES up to the name PERFECT! From start the finish the whole experience was completely seamless. I moved from New York to Chicago, and the whole process took a total of three days. As we all know, moving can stressful and I'll be honest at first my expectations were low and my stress level was high given given my past experiences with moving. However, the second I called perfect moving my stress immediately went away. The gentleman I spoke to over the phone was beyond kind, patient and extremely knowledgable. I gave a two week notice of my desired move out date, all the while crossing my fingers they would tell me a date that was a week or two off at the least. Instead, I was told my desired move out date would be no problem and that the guys would arrive between 9am-12pm. On the day of the move, the team was at my building at exactly 9am ready to go. When Viktor and the guys showed up, they were extremely kind and efficient, literally packaging my furniture & things up at lightening speed but with extreme care. They had all of the necessary equipment to ensure my furniture and valuables were safely packaged up and wouldn't be damaged. I didn't even need to lift a finger, these guys were so experienced and on top of it, they were in and out in under 2 hours. As if it couldn't get any better, I was told the delivery time from New York to Chicago would be anywhere from 1-14 days. Well, the next day I get a call that the team would be in Chicago the very next day and could deliver my items then or would be happy to wait until a day or two, whatever worked best for me. After these guys drove 10+ hours I couldn't believe they were so willing to work with my schedule. When Rush and team arrived in their gorgeous purple truck they were SO nice and efficient yet again. The items were unloaded and moved into the storage unit in under an hour. I'm talking 5 large boxes, a sofa, mattress, bed frame, etc. you get it! The only down side is I WISH these guys were in Chicago! I don't think I can ever use another moving service other than Perfect Movers! Don't waste your time looking at any other moving companies- just book Perfect Moving TODAY, they are MAGNIFICENT!!  I was completely stressed about moving and every step of the way Perfect Moving was helpful, courteous, and professional.   Emailing the office regarding my inventory, they were able to set everything up with a fixed quote.  So comforting to know exactly how much something would cost up front!  Jovana even adjusted my move time to coincide with when the service elevator was available in my new building, even though it took many emails to accomplish this.  Such relief to have someone working WITH you to solve all problems! When the movers called me on the morning of the move at the very beginning of their arrival window, they had already found parking and were so friendly.  "Good Morning!" was my greeting from the team leader of this cheerful trio.  Projecting total confidence, I was immediately put at ease knowing my stuff was in great hands.  The team worked efficiently and methodically to pack the truck, wrapping all furniture with great care, wearing masks the entire time.  I needed some extra help with my mattress, the plastic cover bag I had used didn't fully close, so they easily wrapped the end for me.  My couch gave them quite a struggle, and they maintained their positive attitude as they pulled out all stops to get it out of my apartment.  I was so impressed! When the truck arrived in the new place, it took them no time to get everything into my new apartment, putting all furniture exactly where I wanted it.  I can't describe my relief to have everything taken care of so efficiently and professionally, all with a smile and a kind word.  I'm so thankful.  These guys are moving angels. read more

I loved this company! For context, I was living on my own in my first college apartment in NYC (I am 20 years old)! My apartment was in Stuytown and the storage unit is in west 44th street. I am originally from France and had NO idea who to contact. I needed to put all of my things in a storage unit as I do not know where I will be living yet next year. Chris and Fernando were amazing in taking care of taking all of my belongings in the most seamless manner EVER! They had taken the time to load their truck gently but quickly (as there was a pressing time commitment) as well as dismounted all of the furniture that needed to be. Before their arrival, I was very nervous as this is the first move I have ever done (with movers) and was afraid things would go wrong such as losing some items and so on. But they proved me wrong! They contacted me beforehand and were very easy to contact. Upon arrival at the storage unit, Chris thought the unit would be slightly small for the number of things I had, but with a lot of calm and consideration, they both managed to fit EVERYTHING in it! It made me think of a game of real-life Tetris haha. I want to thank Manhattan Mini Storage for recommending me this wonderful moving company! They truly do deserve the word "perfect" in their business name. I WILL be using this company once I find my next apartment and for many other moves (as well as for my family and friends who need a trusty moving company). The preparation, service, and execution of this move were superb. Peter and Irina were great to work with in the planning. They were patient and responsive to every little adjustment I needed to make in the date and size of the move. I was moving from an apartment where my wife and I had lived for over 20 years; we had accumulated a lot of stuff. I did almost all the packing in advance and it took over a week to get it all ready and staged for the move day. On that day, Rush and his team arrived right on time, a little before 6:00am, and he and the other two guys on his team were so efficient that they were all loaded up and driving away at 7:05am! It blew my mind. I own a furniture manufacturing company in upstate NY so I am extremely attentive to observing whether a team works smoothly and efficiently. These guys were up to the highest standard of that. Perfect Moving is both lucky to have these and, I imagine, should get a lot of credit for finding them and helping them give such great service to the customer. One little incident I wanted to mention: they weren't speaking English to each other and I asked Rush what language it was. He apologized and said it was Serbian. I said it to him then and will say it again here: please don't ever apologize for that; to come to a difference country, work with such dedication, and be learning to speak a second language (his English was totally good) is something to be very proud of. I had a great experience with Perfect Moving for my most recent move within Manhattan. I heard about them through a friend that had used them, and then selected them based on price (although to be honest I didn't shop around too much since I knew what my prior moves cost). Prior to my booking, they were responsive via email in terms of setting everything up and accommodating to some last minute changes to my item list. They were also quick to provide a COI for our new building right upon booking. On the day of my move, my slot was 8-11am and they showed up right at 8am, although they also called 25 min in advance to give me a heads up. The crew of 5 guys was fast and efficient - I was actually shocked how fast they were able to accomplish my whole move as well as my boyfriends. In addition, I felt that they showed extraordinary care for my things. I had broken a lamp myself that morning before the movers arrived and one of the movers took the time to try to salvage the item for me. Also, several of my items were missing screws or parts through being used over the years and the team noted the parts that were missing and helped me by adjusting them to make them more stable for the move. Lastly, I really feel like they went above and beyond. As a courtesy, they took apart my old bedframe and moved it to my boyfriends for me even though it wasn't included in the item list and really went above and beyond at my new place helping me to lay some rugs down. Overall, I would give them 10/10 and would recommend using them to anyone. read more

So this was my first time ever using movers, and I was so nervous. We had a broad window of time to get things started, which made me wonder how long I'd be waiting. I looked at 4 other companies, comparing and contrasting, and decided to go with Perfect off of some random TikTok comments from people asking for other recs. So how did it go? Literally perfect. Every moving horror story from any experience was scrapped after this company. I got a text telling me they'd be there in about 20 minutes, and it was at 1 on the dot. The lead mover Ivan came upstairs to see everything and go through my checklist with me. Once that was done, things started and it was so smooth. I apologized as several boxes hadn't been taped shut yet, and they assured me it was completely fine and shut all them for me. They're not kidding when they say that they're pros. Every item I had they knew exactly how to wrap and carry it. In between tasks we had great conversation just about what we do when we're not moving. They gave me the last OK when things were ready to go to the next place. We got caught in traffic (ya know, cause nyc) and they had started taking stuff out already to try and speed things up, but everything that was taken out was covered by a blanket. They asked how I wanted my room set up and where I wanted everything, and were very courteous. Start to finish about 2.5 hours for a 1 bedroom. If this is your first time moving with movers and are nervous to trust a company right off the bat, THIS IS THE ONE. 11/10. Amazing. read more

PERFECT MOVER'S REVIEW We are moving for the fourth time in 5 years... yeah.. fun times. This time we got smart and checked on line reviews first, Perfect Mover's reviews were surprisingly good and they did not exaggerate. The experience has been amazing. Brad handled our quote. He is thorough, responsive, follows up and doesn't let anything fall through the cracks. Brad inspired such confidence I wasn't worried about guys showing up and if they would be prepared like I was with Dumbo's and Schlepper's in past moves. He even called an hour into the move to make sure the crew was here, and we were happy. WE ARE! So happy! Lucky and his crew are amazing! They got here early, and they are just tearing through this. I have SO much stuff and they are handling everything. Quickly, efficiently, carefully. They are putting in top quality effort - such positive energy and so cheerful. I haven't had to watch them and supervise. They sent me off to read. . They are so charged up they even refused our offer of lunch. They want to get the job done.... So do I. I couldn't be happier. The unload, despite trouble with elevators the building was having was just as efficient and thorough. Lucky's crew is fast, polite, considerate, fun and just an overall pleasure. Not something I thought I would ever have said about a move. This is a temporary move... we have to go again next year - cross country - and I know who I'm going to call. read more

We were thoroughly pleased with Perfect Moving's performance in our move-out from Newton, Massachusetts to temporary storage in Perfect's Bronx facility and then to our new apartment quarters in the Bronx, New York. The move was, in a word, flawless. Adriana documented the move preparations with accuracy and understanding of our requirements, and the move team arrived at our house fully prepared for what was needed. The move team, with Rolando as foreman, were thoroughly professional in all aspects of their work, careful in all packing and handling, and always aware of the big picture. Rolando communicated fully with us at all stages to be sure we understood and were comfortable with the process - we owe much to him for helping us maintain our peace of mind and our confidence in a successful outcome. The Perfect Moving team were also wholly respectful of all requirements at the co-op building to which we were moving - in fact, building staff later expressed to me their satisfaction with the work. Diego, Jairo and Harry did an amazing job! They were punctual and polite. I was very impressed by how they got to work immediately, they started moving plastic bins from the first minute they arrived. They communicated clearly with us every step of the way. They had a solid plan with how to go about the move. First boxes, then furniture. Since we were moving to the building next door, they decided not to use the truck, and it resulted in a more efficient move. They expertly disassembled and reassembled several pieces of furniture, including our bedframe which is large and heavy. They brought all the equipment they needed and brought extra moving boxes just in case, which ended up being used as well. Attention to detail was wonderful, they made sure to place the furniture where we wanted it and even asked me to confirm the positioning of the rugs before placing the furniture on top. No items were damaged during the move. We were also happy with the rented plastic bins, they were delivered and picked up on time. And they we so convenient to use! Perfect Moving was much more reasonably priced that other moving companies we looked into. They responded to emails promptly and planning the move was seamless. They were even kind enough to waive the fee for delivering the plastic bins we rented because we live near their office (without us asking). read more

Amazing! I wish I could give 10 stars! Marko and his team were professional and kind throughout the whole process. Marko was so patient and supportive in answering all my questions. I was a ball of nerves throughout the process but again Marko was there reassuring that everything will go smoothly- which it did! I moved on the day of the snow storm and I immediately called Marko and once again assured me that his team were ready to deploy and move my things. And sure enough his team arrived and were absolutely prepared and incredible. They had to make three stops, one in Manhattan and two in Queens and I have to say that I was quite impressed with how they navigated the parking situation in all three locations. They were able to move my stuff with ease. Not only were they strong, all three gentlemen were friendly, professional, and very attentive with my belongings. They took their time and made sure all my items and furniture were secure as it was transported from one place to another. At the last stop, they made sure I was happy with the placement of my items in each room. Needless to say I will definitely call Perfect Moving again as it was such a positive and smooth experience. Perfect Moving is too good to be true !!!! When you are doing a long distance move (NJ to FL), finding a reliable moving company is so important. I did so much research checking about U-Haul/pods, AVL, and many many more. U-Haul/pods are cheaper and reliable but too much work. AVL type of movers had so many scary stories online, you can Google and check. Then I realized why don't I talk to perfect Moving, who I have used for my local move in the past. Local move experience was amazing. So I know I can trust them at the least. But OH MY GOD, they blew my mind in every possible way. Where do I begin. Brad, the manager went above and beyond and ensured he gave me the best possible price, rightly evaluated all my items multiple times and sent a huge truck to ensure it's more than enough. He was in constant communication, transparent and fair. He made my life so much easier. Then the team led by Rolando. They packed every single piece of item in my home with so much care. Truly a white glove service. All my items arrived in less than 36hrs. NO A SINGLE DAMAGE OR A MINOR SCRATCH ON ANYTHING. unbelievable!!!! We decided to use Perfect Moving after shopping around for quotes. They offered us a very competitive rate on a high-volume move in date--it was almost hard to believe. The administrative staff were very easy to work with and they even offered suggestions for saving money (e.g., accurate accounting of possessions, be packed and ready on the move date). On moving day, Pete and Peter arrived on time. They were professional and communicative, and they worked very hard while taking great care of our things. They were pleasant, respectful, and efficient. They made the entire move stress-free. Honestly, I don't think we could have had a more perfect moving experience! (Sorry about the pun). On our end, what worked in our favor was in taking an accurate assessment of our possessions, which is extremely easy to underestimate. PERFECT MOVING SAVED US! I am the CEO of a small women's charity in NYC. We were in a big bind when the first moving company we worked with was unable to complete our move since half of our stuff did not fit on the truck they had available.
