I've now been to Blossom for a pedicure and a full set, so I feel like I can write a well-rounded review! This spot is super close to my house, which was the original draw for me. It's a bonus that they do a great job, because I don't have to find a place farther from me! The first time I came in was for a pedicure. I was able to walk right in on a weekday with no wait which was nice. I got a standard pedicure and everything was great, but I feel like it was a little rushed in terms of the extra benefits that come with a pedicure. It turned out looking good though, so I couldn't complain. Next up, I came in for a full set. I am TERRIBLE about picking at my lips (thanksss anxiety), and the only thing that helps is having acrylics on because it's nearly impossible for me to pick at the skin (sorry about the visual lolll). I came in with a Pinterest design that was simple yet not one I could ever do on my own, and my nail tech executed it perfectly! I was really happy with the outcome. I was also pleasantly surprised at how gentle they were throughout the process - no cuticle cuts, no drills accidentally brushing against my skin, and my nails weren't sore at ALL the evening that I got the acrylics which has never happened for me in the past. Maybe it's inflation or maybe I'm not used to the price of nail salons, but I feel like it's a tad expensive at Blossom. Everyone was really sweet there and the vibe was really calm however, I showed a picture showing what I'd like and my nails unfortunately didn't turn out at all like the picture. I requested burgundy red cat eye nails and said if it's not possible that's totally okay. It felt like my nails were kind of getting rushed, I understand that I was walk in, however I wouldn't have minded waiting a while or even a hey we're a bit busy is it okay you make an appointment instead. Unfortunately I don't think my nails were cured fully so there are some spots that are dull and have no shine whatsoever, as well as when the nail polish I requested wasn't being applied to the edges of my nails. It was overpriced and a waste of my time. I called hours before I went and asked about the price and it was more than what they said over the phone. I showed them a picture of the nails I wanted and they said they can do that which was cool. I asked if it was extra money and she kept saying no charge. Before she put the polish on, I asked her how much is all it and she said $90!!! That is $40 more than what it was originally supposed to be. Then I asked if I can get a French tip instead and it was $70. The original price they told me was $50! I am very disappointed and frustrated that the price kept changing. I understand something being a little bit more because of a style but to make it THAT much is unnecessary. Then the lady had an attitude because I didn't want it anymore. I've been getting my nails done at this place for over a year now. Tina and a few of her girls have done great manis and pedis for me previously but I never got a "preferred person" until now. A few days ago I met Lina who started about 2 months ago. I got a pedicure and she was the sweetest and thorough person I've met there. It's very rare to have a nail technician ask if the scrubs/towels/water is uncomfortable - usually you need to tell them! Lina was very considerate throughout the whole service: she asked if the water was too hot, if the towel was too hot, if she was scrubbing too hard. It showed she wanted to make sure everything was pleasant. It's also rare to have a nail technician engage with you the whole time and want to get to know you, granted sometimes there is a language barrier, however that did not stop Lina from conversing with me, her client vs her coworkers the whole time. In addition to her customer service, she did a great job with the pedicure including till the very end, when she made sure the nails were fully dry before putting on my slippers for me. If you decide to stop by for a pedicure, I'd recommend Lina for sure. This 5/5 star rating is for her. read more

I called to schedule full set appointments for me & my daughters. As a first timer at their nail shop I asked how much do they charge for full set the said $38. Went inside had my style I wanted they charged $65. How tf?! I asked where is their price board because it wasn't nowhere visible. The lady pointed to the corner. Another lady gave me the price book & there it was, It said $38 for full set acrylic. I showed the lady I asked & I told her see it says $38, she didn't say shit for 2.5 seconds until the other lady told her what to say in their language, then the lady I was asking said $38 for short length. Shot length was about the same size as my nailOh so now it's for short length only. Should've been more specific when I called. Anyways, we still stayed cuz I already promised my girls we'll get our nails done. She charged me for short $48, my youngest daughter $45, & my oldest daughter $51. My daughter said after the lady filed her nails usually they'll tell you to go wash your hands after, the lady didn't ask her to wash her hands she just dusted it off. & rushed doing her nails. It was $51!!! I didn't tip them because they had the worst attitude ever. & when it was time to pay, everything came up to $134 which wasn't bad if I hadn't spoke up about the prices they gave me over the phone. Right when I pressed no tip the lady took my card out and said oh I just saw you have sparkle, that's $2 more. I was like like nah, the lady said it's $48. You lucky I'm paying you. Luckily, I found one right in Fife that is open on a Sunday that had good reviews. I gave them a call and asked them when is a good time to stop by. The lady on the phone was really nice and said I can come now. When I walked in, I was seated right away. I told them I wanted the deluxe manicure with gel nail polish and they got started. The pampering was nice. They added some sort of oils when I soaked my nails, used the paraffin wax and got a hot stone massage. However, when it got to the nail painting, that's where it went wrong. My nail job was really sloppy :( She could have added another coat of nail polish, because I saw the streaks at certain angles. I showed her a picture of a design that I wanted which was a unicorn. The lady who did my nails didn't know what it was and was struggling making the design. It didn't look like a unicorn at all, but I felt bad because she was trying so hard. I'll probably try other places out before going back to them again. The place was clean and staff was friendly, but I wasn't satisfied with my nails. I just have no words... They mess up everytime. I gave them a chance but I cannot recommend this place and will absolutely not be coming here anymore. Don't come here if you have attention to detail and expect precision. Nails get put on crooked, paint jobs are sloppy and lumpy. They don't prepare the nail well enough before painting and end up with bumps and trying to file afterwards. This always leaves my nail polish scraped and areas of my nail unpainted. Their pedicures are better but once they washed my feet with dish soap. If you're calling to book an appointment, it doesn't even matter because they take walk-ins even at the booked time slots which results in you having to wait. I've requested a specific nail tech various times and I ended up getting assigned someone else. You'll also have nail techs hoping around, so although one started your nails, someone else may be the one to finish them. Overall, not a place I'd recommend. read more

The nail lady doing my nails was in too much of a rush to finish my nails, were stingy with nude nail polish only let me do one coat and you could see through my nails. They also price switch way too much. I've gotten the same thing 2 twice (fill + file a little shorter) and the amount is different every time. So I went for a girls trip a couple weeks ago and went to another place where they put shellac on my toes did acrylic on my nails. I have been going to Blossom nails for quite some time now over the past few years. I have normally been happy with them, today not so much. I got the $40 blossom pedi cause after being on vacation and working on my feet for 8 hours a day standing, my feet needed some love. I had my acrylics taken off and just a basic manicure for a shape and clear polish. They charged me $28 for the mani, and an extra $5 for taking the shellac off my toes!!! What in the world. The lady that started taking my acrylics off didn't soak them and just started popping them off! I could have done that at home for free! I went to a nail salon so they didn't look a messed up like I had popped them off myself. Then the lady that was popping them off, left me to go and help another customer and said she would be back and never came back! The lady that did my toes ended up finishing out the other ladies job. I think they were just mad cause I am letting my toes and nails relax for now and just got a clear coat. I am happy with the pedi lady cause she did a great job in finishing out my mani and an excellent job on my toes. Unfortunately though for someone who has been going to blossom nails for years, I will not be going back. My friend and I came here for a pedicure and shellac mani to celebrate her birthday. We originally picked this place because they are open Sundays and they had good reviews. I am so glad we tried them! We will definitely be back. The Blossom pedicure was AMAZING! The bamboo stick and hot stone massage were so relaxing. And the massage lasted a good 10 minutes or so! Our shellac manis both look great even a week later. From the shaping of our nails to the perfect paint job, we've both had compliments on our nails. They are always thorough, and they take a heated bamboo rod and roll it against your legs. Complete relaxation! My left hand is partially paralyzed so I only get 1 hand done and every place has always charged me 2/3 of the price; never exactly HALF. I never complain I just go with it.
