I stopped at the Perfect Palapas store, after seeing a Palapa from I45. Spoke to the guy there and he had great information to share. I left my name and number and had someone at my house to measure for a quote within 2 days. After receiving the quote on the same day that the measurements were taken (really impressed by the timing!), I approved the quote. They require 25% down payment with remainder to be paid a completion of project. The install began 3 weeks later during the hot and rainy days of this summer. It took 2.5 days to complete 2 separate Palapas ... the main palapa is a 2 pole Palapas and a the other is a BBQ lean to. I love my Palapas! My backyard and patio have been transformed into a dream space! I feel that he price was fair and the workmanship appears to be exceptionally! read more

We hired Perfect Palapas to install an umbrella style Palapa. The space is very small and has a deck that overhangs on half the area. On the morning of the install, the umbrella idea seemed like it was going to be too low and didn't feel right. Fabian, from Perfect Palapas, spent over an hour and a half trying figure out a good solution. His crew was holding up posts in different positions and it just wasn't feeling right. I contracted with them to install a 26x16 Palapa over my boat dock. The entire experience with them was great from beginning to end and I'm extremely happy with the finished product. Aaron was very professional and knowledgeable from our first meeting through the end of the job, and we were able to negotiable to what I consider to be a fair price. Critical: Punctuality, Quality These guys built a palapa in our backyard. Took 2 months after our $500 cash initial payment to finally show up. Salesman, Aaron, said it was a small job ($1500) and they should be able to knock it out in about 4 or 5 hours. After several delays due to rain and a heat advisory (July in Texas!) they got around to it in 2 months. The crew left 1 1/4" staples hanging a 1/2" under the table. Took 2 weeks for them to come out to repair that screw up and the crew decided to shoot 1 1/4" brads through a perfectly smooth tabletop in the process. I raised hell and they showed up 2 weeks later after numerous excuses. Btw, the guy leading the crew filled those 20 brad holes with silicon and tried to stain while still wet. So they said they would fix it. They wanted to fill holes and re-stain or replace tabletop. Said I wanted tabletop replaced. They said they were gonna cut a tabletop in half and glue it in. I asked if you were gonna be able to see the seam, they said yes. That's not what I'm paying for. Told them I would repair it myself but could they knock a couple hundred bucks off the cost since I was doing the work. They said they would take $150 off but they were taking the tabletop! Wth!? He said they offered to fix it, but I refused. I told him I wouldn't trust his crew to hang a picture and I didn't have another month to wait for them to "get around to it". One more thing, don't be like my wife and pay the bill before you are satisfied. read more

The worst customer service I ever seen , irresponsible for their job and not reliable. we ordered a water fountain which delivered to home with cracks and paint scratches. they supposed to fix the cracks and repaint the fountain but after fully paid they keep making excuses and post bonding ; after several months since we purchased still is not fixed and they did show up. I had the same experience as previous reviewer. Hard working, happy with product except from day one some leaking around the palapa. Have been trying for a while to get someone to come and complete the work. They do answer, but its the same excuse "busy this week, we promise to be there soon after" with that magical date so far has not happen. The price was right and overall, the palapa looks good - however, there was a part that was incorrectly installed that they have promised and promised to return to repair. It has been a month, and after several phone calls, we still have not seen them. A word to anyone who chooses to use them, do not pay them in full if there is work left to be done. We bought a very large heavy water fountain for our backyard. When they delivered it part of it had been replaced in their effort to piece it together. We had nothing but problems from the beginning, cracks, leaking etc. Like the other reviewer we called dozens of times . They promised to come back many times but never showed up. After the recent cold temps the small cracks turned into big cracks and the fountain is beyond repair. We will have to tear it down with a sledge hammer and labor moving it from our backyard.
