Excellent place for lunch. Always busy so a bit noisy. We sat on the small patio and shared the Cobb salad and the roasted chicken sandwich.

I recently tried this place and overall, it was okay, not bad at all, just not really for me. One of the meals we ordered was the chicken club. It had a lot of good ingredients, but the Gorgonzola cheese was a bit overpowering and masked the other flavors. With a little less cheese, I think it would've been great. The atmosphere is nice, the service was good, and the food feels light and somewhat healthy. It's a trendy spot that seems like a good place for a casual lunch. That said, nothing really stood out enough for me to crave coming back, but I can definitely see why others would enjoy it. read more

This place was great. Came here to eat lunch around noon and was taken care of quickly by the friendly staff members. I had the half salad half pasta option and ordered the Baja lime salad and lemon garlic linguini. Both were delicious, and the portion sizes were very generous, especially for it being half sizes. The Tukee Pear quesadilla was so unique and delicious. I could eat it every day for the rest of forever. I also loved my Baja lime salad, the vinegarette was amazing and the portion was fair. The mock chick'n topper was breaded and yummy. Ambiance was excellent, all of the music was amazing and the restaurant wasn't overcrowded. Our server was kind and kept our drinks full. This is a local establishment with multiple locations, which I have frequented the one by ASU Gammage numerous times. When I started a new job over in Chandler area, I was thrilled to see Perfect Pear on the Highway sign as a food stop on the same exit! Naturally, I had to make it a point to try after work one day. Both locations have the same menu, and cute ambiance in the indoor dining. Happy to have a location near work to enjoy a night cocktail and good eats! I had a good experience here at perfect pear! We sat on the outdoor patio and the host was very gracious to quickly clean a table in order to accommodate our seating request. The outdoor seating area is very lovely. We ordered 2 pastas, a dip, a soup, and salad. Everything was good and perfectly fine. You will be very satisfied with the meal and the portion sizes are large. The food is nothing to write home about, the pastas and soups are pretty simple. But it still tasted good and was filling. I stopped in for lunch and was seated immediately. Service was good, but not exceptional. I ordered the Marbled Cuban sandwich with broccoli cheddar soup. The soup was warm, but lacked much flavor. The broccoli was chopped so fine as to be almost indistinguishable from the rest of the soup. The Cuban sandwich was disappointing. The pork was bland, the mustard was almost flavorless and they skimped on the pickles so much that you couldn't even taste them. I was sorry that the sandwich didn't live up to this places usual standards. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad, but it did not compare to a real cubano sandwich. Came here with a group of friends for a light lunch and ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The location and ambiance were charming, with a great café vibe. Unfortunately, the grilled cheese was one of the strangest I've ever had--it tasted overly sweet, almost as if sugar had been added. One bite was enough to know it was completely unappetizing. Two others in our group ordered it and had the same reaction. Clearly, we should have chosen something else. On the bright side, the tomato soup was excellent, with a great texture and perfect seasoning. Service was just okay. Our server was rushed to the point of being off-putting. One of our friends, who comes here often, insisted this must have been an off day. I'm willing to give it another try, but based on this visit, it wasn't an experience worth raving about or one that makes me eager to return. read more

Amazing sandwiches. I had the quad city melt which was absolutely delicious, and my wife raved about the Cuban. It was in the middle of the lunch rush and though they were busy the service was fast and friendly. Here is my order, we tried a few things: Peanut Coconut Curry French Pantry Sandwich 2 Chicken Club Sandwiches The peanut coconut curry lacked flavor and was not spiced enough to enjoy. The french pantry and chicken club sandwiches had way too many tendons thus made the sandwich inedible and chewy. We felt awful for our server and only told them about 1 sandwich having the issue when it happened to be all of them. I would not recommend coming here at all, let alone for sandwiches. The service was simply outstanding! Our server Chelsea greeted us with a friendly smile, and showed so much enthusiasm explaining the menu. She offered great recommendations, and her attentiveness enhanced our meal experience. I highly recommend her 10/10. Food was excellent! My friends had their grilled cheese and classic salad and they said it was absolutely perfect. I had their quinoa bowl spicy ginger. Little heavy on the sauce but it was tasty. Lots of vegetables like squash and Brussel sprouts. I was able to chicken as my protein too. Overall very satisfying meal. Service was excellent. Greta place to meet up with friends. Very pretty interior decorations. It's not overwhelmingly loud and the atmosphere is warm. We had a nice and attentive wait staff that was constantly checking in and asking us for more water or drinks. The food is okay, mostly average. We really enjoyed our happy hour visit to the Perfect Pear before a youth hockey game at the nearby ice rink. I tried their made to order craft cocktails and a couple of appetizers discounted by $2. Our bartender and server mashed the blackberries herself for my mojito, and mixed the sangria from scratch as well. She was cheerful and efficient, with a great attitude and a big smile. Husband ordered the felafel tacos and I had a taste. All our dishes were excellent, but this taco is over the top yummy!! So unique with middle eastern flavors in corn tortillas! Fresh toppings, feta cheese, cabbage and crunchy felafel made a great sensory combo. We started with the queso dip topped with their house Pico de Gallo which indeed includes chopped pears! Ordered it with all chips (no crostini) and was offered refill chips to finish the generous bowl of cheese. I ordered the brussel sprouts and cauliflower appetizer as my entry, which although crispy and tasty was drowned in half a cup of very sweet Thai sauce. I couldn't eat it, and actually rinsed the leftovers and toasted them in the air fryer to refresh. I mentioned this to the server who said the cook is known to have a heavy hand. Well, this perfectly good dish was ruined by a torrent instead of a delicate garnish. To the chef I say, for those who want more sauce, they can order extra on the side. We had to skedaddle to the game, and our server was very prompt in handling payment and a to go box. I am excited to come back and try some more of the menu next time we are in Chandler. The bistro is a great neighborhood find, and I wish there was one like it in my North Valley neighborhood. read more

They have lots of options like salad, sandwiches, quinoa bowls, and pastas. The food overall was okay. The Pear Cobb salad had a good dressing and the pear inside of the salad was great flavor added to the overall dish. I thought with the added chicken there would have been more chicken in the salad. The quad city melt in my opinion was a bit dry. I didn't taste much cheese. The sweet potato fries were great!! Friends' pastas was missing like a kick and needed a bit more flavoring to it. I love this location better than the new one in Chandler. I don't know why it just has a better ambience I think. I have had the tacos here. I have had salads here quite a few things on their menu and it's always been really really good. I think the cauliflower buffalo Appetizer is really good. Has a vegetarian option if that's what you like. They have great craft cocktails really great lunch spot. Always a great service even when they're busy try it out. read more

One of my favorite places in this part of the valley. The menu is huge so it is hard to decide what to order, but I usually get the spicy ginger quinoa bowl with chicken or shrimp, falafel tacos (skip the cheese because already a lot of other salty ingredients), or Brussels sprout salad no bacon (I've had this as a wrap with falafel too - just a little too huge). Pesto vinaigrette, which is in many dishes, is great. Disappointments lately have been the spinach dip (very oily and not much spinach) and the green garden quinoa bowl (very soggy seemingly steamed veggies, not roasted). Sweet potato fries usually disappoint as well, I suspect they are from frozen. I've never ventured to the pasta or sandwich/grilled cheese sections of the menu, but the plates always look good when they go by. Some of the portions do look quite large. Service is is good, maybe not always *great*. I wish they would turn the music down a tad but it's not near as bad as some places. Will continue to be a regular here unless something takes a turn for the worse. read more

Cute place! Started with the quesadilla. Delicious highly recommend. My son ordered the pear classic with chicken. His favorite go to. Hubby got the Baja Lime salad with added chicken. He said it was very tasty. I ordered the pear grilled cheese and tomato soup. OMG! Absolutely scrumptious. The spiced pear bread and the cheese flavors worked wonderfully! Highly suggest trying this.
