    Spicy ginger bowl
    Winnie L.

Pro-tip: Lunch can be busy so plan ahead. Highlights: Service was really friendly. They have a lot of options on the menu especially catering to vegetarians and health-conscious people. I like that you can get sweet potato fries without having to pay a surcharge. Lowlights: I really wanted to like the food, especially with the pear twist on some items, but I didn't like anything we ordered, which is rare for me. The ginger bowl was extremely salty. The Tuscan rigatoni was so bland. And the French pantry sandwich was very plain with minimal ingredients and definitely had no pear flavor. On top of the food being subpar, it really doesn't justify the price. It's almost $20 for a lunch entrée with protein.

Perfect Pear Bistro filled a little hole in my life that salad and go left when they closed suddenly. My favorite thing about this place is their use of cheese in everything. They know what the people want (I'm the people). My husband did the 1/2 grandmas Mac and 1/2 strawberry fields forever salad. I had a whole French pantry sandwich. We basically shared everything because I wanted to try it all. The Mac and cheese was so creamy and the bacon cooked extra crispy, the salad was so yummy with the bits of pecan & Gorgonzola spread throughout and my sandwich was a nice mix of flavor with Brie, pear, and grilled chicken. The bistro itself is spacious and was pretty busy with families and girl dinners.

It was my first time at the Perfect Pear Bistro. We came here before a concert. I was pleasantly surprised at how much bigger it is inside when we entered the restaurant. As we entered we were seated right away. The place was busy and looks to be a family friendly eatery. The waitress came to take our order so I left it to my brother in law to choose. Do have to give a shout out to him on his choice. Our appetizer was brought out from the kitchen not the waitress. It was the Black and Blue Brussels Sprouts topped with bacon and it was very tasty. We never did finish the large plate and before we knew it our order of Bacon and Jalapeño sandwiches were brought out from the kitchen. I couldn't believe how good they were and it comes with a side of sweet potato fries. My experience here was exceptional. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice.

Food was solid. Service was great. The highlight of our visit was the sweet potato fries!! Perfectly crispy & seasoned 10/10!! Everyone came in hungry and left satisfied without feeling too bloated.

Bacon Jalapeño Grilled Cheese with Sweet Potato Fries

First time at the Chandler Perfect pear. I have now been to all three locations over the past several years and all are 5 stars. We started off with Black & Blue Roasted Brussel Sprouts. Served with bacon, Gorgonzola cheese and a Chipotle drizzle. Have not had any better and have had this dish as an entree. Never been able to finish it. Second tome I had the Bacon Jalapeño Grilled Cheese with Arugula and sweet potato fries. Spicy sandwich and very unique. No room for the pear cobbler and ice cream. Love this place. Service and ambiance are great! Put this one on your list!

Had a great meal here the other evening. Our server was attentive and friendly, the prices were very reasonable, and the food and drinks were both tasty. We will definitely be back!

The quad city melt was super yummy. Very oily on the hands though, that just means it was very juicy haha. I like the breading on the fries it has more of a crispy crunch to it. Lots of seating inside and our server was very friendly.

This place hits all the marks... good vibes, amazing service and delicious food! I have driven past here so many times and wished I had come here sooner. Kevin was awesome and the food was great. I had the Quad City Melt and the sirloin was so tender and moist and I loved the chipotle aioli. My boyfriend had the Marbeled Cuban and said it was great too. I also had a Pear Moscow Mule which was so refreshing. I will definitely be returning!

Perfect Pear Bistro...how presumptuous of you...or maybe you are perfect??? I was about to find out! I finished up a deep tissue massage next door at Massage Envy and was on my own for dinner so I asked workers at the front desk if they've been to the Perfect Pear Bistro next door. It was a resounding yes and that I should try it out. I also was told to get the Marbled Cuban. I was sold! It was nice to walk 15 seconds to dinner rather than fight Friday night traffic again. I entered Perfect Pear Bistro and was a little shocked by how empty it was...there were a few people dining but many more empty tables. The bar had nobody. I let them know I was dining alone and was seated in a bar high-top table. The interior is inviting- open with simple but elegant decor. I looked at the menu even though I planned to get the Marbled Cuban. I was surprised to see signature tacos and fancier pasta entrees on the menu...I was thinking it was a soup/salad/sandwich place. My server was prompt and friendly and I placed my order. The Marbled Cuban came out and it was a little thinner than I imagined. The pulled pork was present but I didn't see any cheese and was expecting the 4-cheese blend to be quite prominent. The sandwich tasted good...nice pieces of pork without any fat. The toasty rye with the soft pork and cheese was a winning combination. The accompanying fries were average at best...should have gone with the sweet potato fries instead. Overall I had a pleasant experience here. There were other items on the menu that piqued my interest- chicken pesto sandwich, spicy asian pork tacos, and several pasta dishes. If I was dining with another I would have suggested splitting the peach and pear cobblier, but it would be too indulgent for me alone. Just a good reason to return with my wife or a friend next time!

My mom and I stopped in for lunch on Sunday and it was packed, but we were able to be seated right away at the bar. I ordered the pearfectly grilled cheese with the sweet potatoes. The sweet potato fries weren't my favorite, maybe it was the seasoning but they weren't bad. The sandwich was decent. The ambience is pretty nice inside and the staff were attentive.

I've dined here for lunch and dinner. Lunch was with a big group and dinner with the family. When I dined during lunch time I went for the chicken pesto ciabatta sandwich (with roasted red peppers, tomatoes, feta cheese and pesto aioli) with their mushroom soup. And when I went for dinner I ordered the marbled Cuban ( with pulled pork, dill pickle, cheese, grain mustard between rye bread) and tomato soup, and falafel tacos with sweet potato fries. Both times the service was good. I loved the soups and sandwiches and can't wait to explore of the other menu items. They are kid friendly with a kid friendly menu for ages 10 and under for $5.99 where we ordered the Alfredo pasta and fries. They were a hit. Perfect Pear Bistro also provides crayons, coloring paper, pencil and stamps and the another drawer full of dum dum lollipops! What a nice surprise for the kiddos. Will be back!

We stopped by The Perfect Pear Bistro right by Chandler Fashion Center and left completely obsessed. I got the Perfectly Grilled Cheese ($12.49) and upgraded my side to a bowl of tomato bisque (+$3.39). Holy cow, the bread is the star: their house-made grilled spiced pear bread. It's a plush, lightly sweet brioche swirled with warm cinnamon, nutmeg, and little bits of pear that caramelize when they toast it. The outside gets that perfect golden crunch while the inside stays soft and almost buttery. They stuff it with a gooey four-cheese blend plus brie that melts into every corner, peppery arugula, and thick strips of crispy bacon. One bite and I was in love; the sweet-savory-spicy thing it has going on is next-level. Dipping it into the tomato bisque (rich, velvety, perfectly seasoned) felt borderline illegal. Best grilled cheese I've ever had, no exaggeration. My wife ordered the Strawberry Fields salad ($13.49) and added grilled chicken (I think +$5 or $6). It's enormous, easily two meals. Juicy sliced strawberries, candied walnuts, thin rings of red onion, big crumbles of gorgonzola, plenty of crispy bacon, mixed greens, and perfectly cooked, tender grilled chicken piled on top. The house balsamic vinaigrette ties it all together without drowning anything. She said it was fresh, balanced, and one of the best salads she's ever had; she ate less than half and happily took the rest home. Service was fantastic: friendly, quick, and they even split our checks and brought extra napkins without us asking. Prices feel like a steal for the quality and portions. The Perfect Pear is now on our regular rotation. That spiced pear bread alone is worth driving across town for, and everything else we tried was just as impressive. Highly recommended.

Stopped by lunch time to try this place out on a Saturday. My Yelp Friend Beth picked it! We came after our Yelp event. We were greeted right away and sat near the restroom area at a table for 4 people. They were really busy. Our server came and got us our drinks. Her recommended some items from the menu. I went with PERFECTLY GRILLED CHEESE brie, four cheese blend, arugula & crispy bacon... served on our grilled spiced pear bread with seasoned fries and a side of ranch. All tasted delicious! Beth ordered the perfect pear with STRAWBERRY FIELDS strawberries, crispy bacon, walnuts, red onions & gorgonzola cheese... tossed with our balsamic vinaigrette and CHIPOTLE VODKA SAUCE rigatoni... tossed with tomatoes... topped with fresh basil & parmesan cheese. She said hers was also good. I will definitely be back to try some more items.

The waffles were perfectly golden, the croissant breakfast sandwich was flaky and buttery with plenty of bacon and melty cheese, the breakfast potatoes had a great crisp, and even the scrambled eggs were fluffy. I also loved that my hot tea came in its own little teapot. It's a small touch, but it made the experience feel a little more special. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because service moved a bit slower than expected, and a few things could've been cleaner. The table could have used a better wipe down, and there were a couple of little details that took away from an otherwise cozy experience. Overall, the food absolutely carried the visit, and I'd still happily come back when I'm craving a classic breakfast.

Nothing was bad, but for a basic brunch for two with water, our bill was over $40, and I honestly didn't feel like it was worth the price. The restaurant and outdoor entertainment complex is huge and has a really fun, energetic vibe. According to the bartender, they have ping-pong, pickleball, and a big upstairs outdoor patio with amazing views of Tempe and the surrounding area. Azbel was a great server. I had the bistro steak and fries and the Szechuan lettuce wraps, and both were really good. Portions were generous. During late-night happy hour my total was about $55 for a main entrée, an appetizer, a cocktail, and tip, which felt like a great deal. I was pleasantly surprised that happy hour runs every day Monday through Sunday from 3-6 PM and again from 8 PM to close. Ambiance (4/5): Nice-looking restaurant. And a spacious one at that. Once you walk in, there's a wine tasting area. Pass through that, and you'll see a bar area on the right and a sit-down area straight ahead. We ended up sitting at the bar. There were only two seats available, at the end of the bar, where the seating was much lower than the rest of the bar. A bit of an awkward set-up, but I'll take that any day of the week over waiting. Service (2.5/5): The restaurant was packed on a Friday evening. The wait time was an hour and a half which is pretty wild. Luckily, we found the last two seats at the bar. Service was about average. Not terribly friendly, not terribly efficient, but not bad either. They were out of the entree I wanted which was a bit of a bummer. Drinks (4/5): While they have a full bar, Cooper's, as the name indicates, is known for their wine. They even have a wine club. I ended up going with a wine flight where you get to try four different wines. There are some restrictions, but you can pick pretty much most of what you want from their large menu. It was nice to get a mix of wines I was interested in. I love the variety! Food (4.5/5): They start you off with some complimentary warm pretzel bread and butter which is always a nice touch. From there, even though they were out of my first choice, my second choice wasn't too shabby. I went with the chicken picatta which is one of my favorite Italian dishes. Good portion size with three breaded chicken fillets, plus the pasta. The lemon sauce was just right. A filling and delicious meal. My partner in crime had the Caprese flatbread, which I tried... also delicious. The first time I visited Cooper's was in Tampa many years ago. It's great to dine with them again (just try to avoid peak hours if you can)!

We love this little gem! There are two wonderful outdoor patios, obviously not for summer seating but during our nice weather, beautiful! Wife had a Blue Hawaiian and said it was flavorful and perfect except a bit less ice would make it better. We decided to share a meal tonight so started with their Loaded House Salad, which they split for us. We loved this salad! Their tarragon ranch dressing was perfect with the mixed greens, the grape tomatoes, pepitas, and bacon crumbles...such a good salad! We shared their popular short ribs (they charged $2 for plate share) which were cooked to tender perfection and served over a creamy white bean puree. Delicious for sure! We finished with some of their Black Forest Cake which was the bomb! Tender, moist chocolate cake rounds with the best tasting whip that has vanilla bean in it and then some great cherry jam to set it all off. What a great meal!

We came for Thursday night happy hour and stayed to listen to the band. Marble Heart Trio was fantastic! I also appreciated that the music wasn't so loud that we couldn't carry on a conversation. A huge plus. Since it was our first time here, we decided to share several appetizers. Every single one was delicious! We ordered the loaded mashed potatoes, grilled shrimp skewers, the beer cheese pretzel board, and the Angus beef sliders with shoestring fries. Everything was perfect for sharing, and we finished every bite. The service was excellent, and we really enjoyed the overall atmosphere. We're already looking forward to coming back to try more items on the menu. If you're looking for great food, attentive service, and live music in a relaxed setting, I highly recommend giving Cork & Craft a try.

If you like an Old Fashioned, they have the best one I have ever had. $18 but amazing! It was a beautiful evening and the doors & windows were open so all could enjoy it! We shared three different items and we both enjoyed them all. My complaint is the table and chairs. Both were leaning about 1-1/2" so we had to put our weight on them to level them. Also the chairs we were on had a weird slope that makes you slide out of them. Fix these and easily a 5 star rating.

Great lunch spot in Chandler! I have received a lot of recommendations to check out Sourdough & Co…read more I wish I would have gone sooner! Walking into the store, the first 2 things you notice is that it is busy!, and the heavenly smell of fresh baked sourdough. The staff is extremely nice and patient, willing to answer questions if you have any. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating, even though there is a lot of tables it is definitely not enough during lunch time. I ordered a 6 inch frensh dip and their bowl of clam chowder, all to go. Driving home with my to go order was torture! My entire car smelled like bread that just came out of the oven!!! The French dip was delicious! The shop provides a giant cup of Au Jus with the sandwhich, there is no way you are going to use it all! The sandwhich was well belanced with the meat and cheese, and the flavors were a great combination. The sourdough bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Definitely recommend checking out this sandwhich. The bowl of clam chowder is the reason I know I will be consistently coming back to this shop. As a clam chowder snob, I am obsessed! The portions of ingredients were great, not too many of one ingredient. The soup was creamy but not thick like glue, great consistency! The cut sizes for the potato and clams were great and you could easily see the clams in the soup. It was phenomenal!!! I beyond recommend checking out Sourdough & Co.
