I ordered an iced vanilla oat milk latte, and it was absolutely delicious--smooth, flavorful, and incredibly refreshing. For my meal, I had the Chile Relleno burrito without the tortilla, and it was so good! The flavors were amazing, and it was satisfying without feeling heavy. 4/11/26: wonderful food, friendly & attentive staff, very colorful decor inside. Their part of a small strip mall & they share dining space (and the kitchen?) with the taco place next door. While we were dining, it got very busy & as we were wondering where everyone was going to sit, people started walking through the glass door between the two eateries. Drinks: lots of choices. We opted for the $16 horchata flight (flan, strawberry, mocha, espresso). The former two were my favs because I don't like coffee, but my sister def enjoyed the latter two. Food: hefty breakfast sandwich w/ sausage, cream ala creme (biscuit & fruit), BHH French toast w/ bacon. The sammy was made w/ three eggs so it was a large sammy, kinda messy. I think they need to spread out the eggs a bit more so they cover more space & don't slip out from between the bun as easily. The hashbrowns were perfectly crispy. The French toast was also a hefty serving, especially w/ the bacon tacked on. The biscuit came out w/o the whipped cream, but the young gentleman quickly brought it out when I pointed out it was M.I.A. It was not as sweet as I was expecting; not sure I'd get that again. Service: great. Order at the counter, get a number, sit down, & it's brought to you -- and it was brought out very quickly. When ready, go up to the counter and order, bringing back a table number for delivery (or to go) The service was very friendly, and the food came out quick. They do have alcohol as well for those who like a boozy brunch. As for the food, I judge places by their biscuits and gravy... And this was one of my favorites. The biscuit was juicy, buttery perfection and the gravy was real, not the bland packet gravy some places use. The bacon came out at the exact crispness for the best melt in your mouth bite, and they were huge pieces. The hashbrowns were good, nothing fancy though. Eggs cooked perfect (over easy for me). I also got the mocha iced latte and it was very chocolate forward, not much coffee flavor, but still tasty. My only complaint, and I mean ONLY complaint, is that price point. I spent $25 for the biscuits and gravy with a coffee and left hungry. I think had they given me two biscuits instead of just one, maybe that would fix everything. Found this gem today! This is a cute and simple spot. All the staff were incredibly nice and attentive. You start by ordering your food at the register, and then you get a number to take with you for the table of your choosing. The menu had tons of options from crepes and French toast to traditional breakfast and burgers. Decided to try the French toast with strawberries and the crepes with Nutella and banana. Both were perfectly sweet, with great flavor and generously portioned. The most intriguing menu item I saw was the Horchata flight; flan, strawberry, mocha, and espresso. So good!! The flan horchata was over the top delicious! I'd also like to point out that the mimosa was perfect; lightly orange colored with not too much juice. We wanted to check out a new breakfast place and this one has been on my list for a bit. There's a few different options I wanted to taste but the Chorizo Omelette won me over for this initial try. It's a small place inside but there are some seating options outside as well. You order at the counter, take a table and they bring to food to you. The service was fast and friendly! I grew up loving freshmade fry bread. From a childhood in the SW to Alaska, I love love love this puffy, pillow-pocketed bread that's fried in oil. I love a traditional honey sugared alternative to a donut. Fry bread makes me smile. Inhad driven past the other day and decided Inhad to have one so I popped in and they were FABULOUS! Hot, large, made with love & quality. A sweet one (honey & powdered sugar) was $5.75 and I can't wait to go back & bring a friend to have a savory filled lunch version. Nice counter staff. Honestly, it's really simple what I look for in a brunch place - can I hear my friends or is the music so loud that i feel like I am at a club? Thankfully, the volume level is normal here and you can enjoy delicious food and actually talk to your friends. You order at the counter and grab a table! The staff is super friendly. As much as the food was lovely and the ambience was a cute place, there could definitely be some subtle changes that would help: I order a Pinot Grigio for lunch. The server grabbed the already opened bottle from an unrefrigerated cage. The wine was almost orange is was so old. She brought it to me warm, old, and it smelled horrifically like vinegar. The taste was also so bad I had to spit my one sip back into my glass. Our food came out one by one as we were a party of 7. My food came out super hot and the portion was huge. This omelet was thick and stuffed. The meat was well cooked but overall it had no flavor. The potatoes were also very bland so I hunted down some tabasco and drizzled it on top. I also added black pepper and salt and it made both the omelet and potatoes much better. My friends also said their food lacked flavor. I was able to try out the chilaquiles though and those were perfect! I then wished I would've ordered that instead. I visited The Bread And Honey House with folks from work. This is the second location, and if heard good things about it. I had been in this building when it was another business, and they have really brightened it up allot. There are bright murals on the wall. I especially like the honey bear bottles painted on the wall wearing different outfits. The little police officer honey bear had a Mesa PD badge! You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. The girl at the register was so cheerful and helpful. We ordered various items from the menu, and everyone was very happy with their food. Portions are really big. I ordered the chopped chicken salad, and it was fantastic! There were way more toppings (chicken, bacon, avocado, egg) than actual greens. It was especially good because there is melted cheese on the cut-up chicken. It was quite filling because it was so "meaty". I didn't care for the ranch dressing, but I'm all fairness, that is more of a Denise thing . This place will definitely be on repeat for me. This morning, I decided to treat myself to Bread & Honey House, as I was craving their excellent French toast. I ordered online via DoorDash and picked up in store shortly after. Unfortunately, this visit was not as pleasant as the past 2 visits. I am disappointed that I have to give them a 3 star rating instead of 5. Our order was ready on time, the girl at the counter was very friendly, however... the food was not as good as the other times we have visited. My side of French toast came plain- the last 2 times I've ordered it, it came topped with berries, whipped cream & caramel. Not to mention, the piece of toast I got was considerably smaller than the pieces my husband got with his order. This small, plain piece was $4.68..... a bit pricey in my opinion. That was my main reason for wanting to stop by, so I was very sad. Luckily my husband was nice enough to give me a piece of his. It was excellent! We only got one tiny side of syrup, for a whole French toast order + the side of French toast. The potatoes in my breakfast bowl were cooked very well, however, there was no rosemary this time. They were plain and not seasoned at all. The coffee was still great. I got the hot caramel latte. All in all, I am unhappy about this visit & at the high price point to eat here, I'm unsure if I want to risk coming back in the future. read more

It's tucked away in a corner in a well kept block of restaurants, with lots of windows and natural light. The restaurant was welcoming and upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly staff member who informed us on how to order. The menu is expansive but not overwhelming, there are lots of choices depending if you want sweet or savory. I was in a sweet mood so I got the Berry Bliss Crepes. They were beautifully presented beautifully and quickly. My friend got the breakfast bowl with chorizo. The crepes were delicious and I also got a an iced coffee, which came out so tasty. My friend loved his breakfast bowl as well. The restaurant itself is cozy and bright and the service is friendly. I've had bread and honey house three times. The first two times were takeout at work for group meetings and they were amazing! Last week I went in the restaurant for lunch and there were some major issues. I will say it was very cute inside, and when we got there there were only about four tables sat. I hate to ding a downtown Mesa newer I assume family-owned business, but it was pretty bad. I had the buffalo chicken salad and the chicken had so much buffalo sauce it was inedible. No one ever checked on us, the person I went to lunch with had to get up and look around for his own ketchup... I had a few bites and then set it aside and I'm not one to not finish my food. The reason I'm leaving this review is because I hope the owner realizes that customers need to be checked on after they are served, and the buffalo chicken salad is so salty you cannot eat it. read more

Partner wanted crepes but they were out(?) so had French Toast which was either undercooked or over soaked in egg mixture. I had the Big BLT which was average size. It was tasty. We ordered their chilaquiles, chorizo omelette and breakfast Cubano sandwich. The chilaquiles was really good! The omelette was okay, the potatoes were well cooked. I didn't really appreciate the sandwich because there was too much sauce (honey mustard). There was so much sauce that it over powered the sandwich. That's all you were tasting.
