This use to be one of my favorite nail salons to go to, but after the last service I had done there, I will not be going back! I decided to get a gel mani and pedi done before the holidays, and after a few days they started to peel and they charged me extra for having them put glitter on one nail on each hand! After going to the place across the street(enchanted nails) several times and being disappointed (they used to be better but have gone downhill big time), I decided to venture across the street and try this place, so glad I did! I got a basic manicure and Tammy gave me probably the best manicure I'd ever had, even though I came in about 1/2 hour before closing, she took extra time to make sure it was absolutely perfect. Perfect Polish Disappointment! I walked into this nail place with my daughter for a mani/pedi service. We both had appointments. As soon as I started talking, the lady noticed my accent and immediately asked whether I was Mexican. When I told her that my daughter will be having a french gel manicure, she replied by saying that will be $5.00 more. I said "OK" and she replied: " Oh good, you are rich person... your daughter can get anything she wants". She then asked me to paid for the manicure in advance, which I did since this common practice at many places. However, she did NOT asked any of the other 20 costumers to pay in advance.. only me. I guess they decide how to treat and charge their costumers based on how they look or speak.. Shame on them. Would never go back there. Let's not encourage divisive climate in our neighborhoods. read more

Horrible gel manicure!!! :( DO NOT recommend. My nails were not painted on straight with the gel nail polish. The nail technicians were very distracted having multiple conversations to fellow employees. At points during the manicure the nail technician would walk away and leave my nails unpainted, not being able to put inside the UV light to dry. I felt rushed as a new client. My nails were the worse they have ever been treated at a nail salon. The nails were chipping days after. I will not be returning to this nail salon. read more

Perfect Polish is the only place I will go in MN for a pedicure. This gem has never disappointed me. The salon is well maintained and NEVER smells of acrylic!! The staff is friendly but not overly chatty unless you want to talk. They have a fabulous selection of gel colors as well. read more

Tammy was amazing! She took her time on each and every one of my nails to ensure they matched perfectly. The salon is very clean and all the gals that work there are hilarious and sweet! Would 100% recommend! I thought I had finally found my forever nail shop after the first time getting my nails done here. I originally gave this place 5 stars and the review as seen above. However, I'm changing it to a one star for the following reasons: My friends and I came in to get our nails done. I just needed a fill. When it came time to pay, I asked how much I owed her she said $50. Now, not only is that an outrageous price for a fill, but when I got the full set I was charged $54. I told the lady that and she claimed it was because I got tips, when I mentioned that my nails prior had tips she claimed it was because two of my nails had fallen off - as if that was my fault. lol I told her I wasn't going to pay that much for a fill so she knocked it down $5 lol. Now, I am not a cheap person by any means, I just knew she was trying to rip me off. After I paid, I still tipped her 20% although I was frustrated. What really pissed me off was while this was all happening my friends nails were drying. Immediately after I tipped her she rudely said we were good to go. Well, that was just an excuse to get us out of there because I caught her trying to rip a customer off, because my friends nails were still wet, and now ruined. Another friend of ours is a regular at this establishment and we asked her about prices, and even she said they were attempting to rip me off. Never again. They just lost three customers - three costumers who are servers and bartenders..aka fat tippers! Bummer for them! Would NOT recommend! read more

I was recently referred to Perfect Polish by a friend. I was hesitant because I work in a big name salon already and my idea of quality is pretty high. I decided to try Perfect Polish because I could not get into my own salon for a pedicure before a vacation. I was very impressed! The atmosphere is very relaxing, The prices are very good and the women working there are very nice. They don't speak to each other back and forth in their language so that no one else can understand them. They make you feel very comfortable. The quality of their work in also very impressive. I got a $27 pedicure for a half an hour and it was awesome! They cleaned up my cuticles, scrubbed my heels, and did a great massage. They may not have all the latest polish colors to choose from, but they do have a grat selection. I would recommend anyone I know to Perfect Polish and I will be going back again! read more

I have a new go-to nail place. I came here for the first time in mid-June and got a great pedicure - lots of attention to detail and it lasted until I came back. I brought in a bridal party last weekend - and we were able to bring snacks and drinks and they set up a little table for us and were incredibly accommodating with our schedules. I've been going here for about a year (2x per month) and have become increasingly dissatisfied - so much so that I intend to find a different salon. Although some of the technicians are great, I've noticed that the quality of work varies widely depending on which nail tech you're placed with. Unfortunately the last few times I've gone, the nail tech I was placed with was quite rude to me (e.g., cursing at me under her breath because I accidentally bumped my nails when placing them under the UV lamp) and I left feeling disappointed and bummed about what was supposed to be a relaxing and fun time. Long story short - the quality of the work isn't good enough to outweigh the rude and demeaning behavior by the nail technicians, so I'll be taking my business (and good tips!) elsewhere. read more

Expect to wait at least 15-20 minutes past your appointment time. The last four or five times I've called hours in advance to book an appointment because I know how busy they get. They do quality work, but it's EXTREMELY frustrating when they go off a list rather than scheduled appointments. read more

Went in to get a gel manicure removed and they said it would be a 15 minute wait. They kept me waiting for over a half hour and helped people who got there after me first. Several technicians told me they'd be right with me and they all forgot about me. Finally, one came over to me in the waiting area and put acetone on my fingers without saying a word. I sat there with tinfoil on my nails for another long wait, clearly forgotten about, they again started working on other people, several of who were also getting a gel removal and were getting much better treatment. I stood up to get someone's attention, and finally someone came over and aggressively scraped the polish off of my fingers, never saying a word to me except "go wash your hands". No eye contact, no smile, no apology for the wait. Terrible service, I will not be going back. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place unless you like getting your fingers/cuticles cut to bleed. I was there and had to wait 25 minutes before I was helped and I bounced from chair to chair. After they FINALLY were able to begin my manicure, the woman seemed VERY rushed and uninterested. She was so rushed that she cut my cuticle so bad, it bled for about an hour- the whole rest of the time I was there and even when I got home. It was so painful. She then, without my permission, tried to stop the bleeding with fingernail SUPER GLUE. I was just full of panic the rest of my manicure. My fingernail was all bloody. As I had tears in my eyes the woman asked if I liked the color (which was a very light pink so the blood was showing through). I was honest and said I hated it because you could see the blood. She then offered to switch the color to a red to hide the blood. I was APPALLED. Plus, the manicure itself started to chip, gel polish mind you, 2 days after I got it. I will never go back. It was the worst nail salon and manicure experience I have ever had. read more
