    Jerk chicken
    Leah S.

SO MUCH FOOD! I ordered the jerk chicken meal and was shocked that I received enough food for two complete meals. Though it was nearing the end of the day, they still had their full menu with the exception of chicken patties. The flavor of the food was good and jerk sauce had just enough spice to be flavorful but have heat. Chicken was cooked to perfection and falling off the bone. For a food hall experience, this was top notch.

This place is inside the Chattahoochee food hall. I miss good Jamaican with Dat Fire burning down. This place, I first thought was a lil pricey but the food is fire. I got the fried jerk catfish with rice and peas and cabbage. First off, they sprinkle a lil sauce on your rice and peas. The cabbage and rice and peas were great, flavorful with spice that builds as you eat. The sides and that jerk sauce sprinkled over the rice let me know the catfish was gonna be good. I often pick around the lil grey innards but the fish combined with the sauce was so good I powered thru that inevitable extra extra fishy bite. I kinda wanted to come back to Chattahoochee to try all the other spots there, after getting home and eating, I'm coming back to everything on their menu. And they have Ting'

    Oxtails (5+ stars)

FINALLY! This was my 5th attempt to eat at their restaurant located within Chattahoochee Food Works. Wait times were entirely too long on some occasions and on other occasions they ran out of oxtails (which was all I wanted). On my last attempt I ARRIVED EARLY at the start of their business hours hoping to secure both a good spot in line and some of the first oxtails of the day. But as fate would have it, they weren't ready for business! So I lingered, and lingered and lingered until my patience had run its course. Finally after about 45 minutes had passed, I walked away and ordered food elsewhere. During that same visit, I was outside taking pics of my food when the owner of Perfect Seasoning tracked me down and presented me with a small order of complimentary Oxtails and said: "Put out of your mind what you are thinking!" I found that to be a rather clairvoyant thing to say because my thoughts definitely centered around NEVER returning. If you've ever been to a place that made you feel they are so popular they don't need your business then you can understand what I mean when I say that's the vibe I was receiving. So without that extra effort, I'm pretty certainly I wouldn't have returned. Well, it has been about 9 months since that encounter and I was back again! It was a Thursday afternoon and most of the businesses within the Food Hall were slow, allowing me to order without waiting in an absurdly long line. I placed only one order for OXTAILS to share with my son who was home briefly from college, but after receiving our order and taking one bite, we knew we couldn't share! It was soooooo good that I immediately went to place another order for myself. Seriously the best oxtails I've ever eaten. BUT HERE'S THE RUB To be honest, I can see the issues some reviewers complain about with customer service and attitudes even though none of my encounters have been harsh or rude. I think Perfect Seasoning has a good product, and I'M PRETTY CERTAIN they also think they have a good product. But a good product is only the beginning of a successful business and I don't think they yet realize the truth of the saying "It's the little foxes that spoil the vine!" My mom always said if multiple people are saying the same thing about you, you might want to consider what YOU are doing to create that opinion. Not everything people believe is true, but true or false, perception CAN BE reality. FINAL THOUGHTS I hope they can capture and tame the little foxes. The Oxtails here are truly exemplary and it really is a shame their overall yelp rating isn't higher, which prior to my post was 2.8 after 18 reviews. Other reviewers have really praised their wings and jerk catfish as well, both of which I hope to try next visit. I also hope everyone reading this review makes the drive to give them a try AND in turn the staff make you feel welcomed and valued. I need them to stay in business at least another 50 years so I can come eat anytime I want! LOL 2022 / 24

Amazing meal from Perfect Seasoning! Great portion for price and fast service. The chicken had outstanding smokey flavor with authentic Caribbean spices. Great place for a fast takeaway meal or sit down and enjoy at the food hall.

Located in this super cool food hall called the works. Wasn't quite busy so I guess the owner got right to my order. I just got jerk chicken, but he offered me cabbage A1 for service and he knows that. I really enjoyed how nice he was and how clean the place was if you know you know most amazing food spots are very clean And he was his rare for Jamaican food that I would say 10 out of 10 definitely recommend the best food that I've had since being in ATL Now the wings are quality chicken seasoned to pe4fection., definitely taste grilled cause it ain't Jamaican if it isn't gr been in grill so good very spicy, but would you expect from Caribbean food? The cabbage is delicious and I will definitely be back for both. Check it out. Definitely worth the trip.

I got the oxtail. Super good but slightly overpriced especially with the side options. Customer service could use some work.

As someone who is known for seeking out and truly testing vegetarian options at Caribbean…read morerestaurants, I have to say--Miss Conduck is easily the best Caribbean flavor restaurant in Atlanta. And coming from a Jamaican background, let me be clear: the usual Trinidad vs. Jamaica debate does not apply here. This place stands on its own. From the moment the food hit the table, one thing was consistent across everything we ordered: it was hot, fresh, and made with real intention and flavor. We started with the fried cauliflower bites. The batter was light, crispy, and well done--definitely a solid starter. I wasn't a big fan of the tartar sauce it came with, but it didn't take away from the quality of the cauliflower itself. My friend ordered the jerk chicken rolls, and I have to give credit where it's due--the sauce that came with those rolls was incredible. Easily one of the standout sauces of the night. Next, I had the doubles, and because I like my food with a kick, I asked for pepper sauce. Now, I'll admit--I made my first one obnoxiously hot. But what I discovered was the real winning combination: adding the callaloo on top of the doubles. That was the perfect match. The callaloo itself is blended with so many elements into a rich, flavorful purée, and when paired with the doubles, it created this burst of layered, authentic Caribbean flavor that was just on point. I also ordered a veggie plate with rice and peas, cabbage, and chickpeas, and they did not disappoint. The portion size was generous, and every single item was clearly made with flavor in mind--not just thrown together as an afterthought for vegetarians. I also tried the macaroni pie--it's a smaller portion, but it's true Caribbean mac and cheese, rich and satisfying. The fried plantains were done perfectly--hot, fresh, and with that ideal balance of sweetness and texture. Then came the rasta pasta. My first couple of bites, I thought it needed a little more kick--but by the third bite, everything came together perfectly. You can taste the layers of vegetables building flavor, and there's a subtle heat that isn't overpowering but adds depth. The noodles were cooked exactly how they should be--perfect texture, not overdone, not undercooked. One thing I always pay attention to is this: Is a vegetarian-friendly restaurant also approved by meat eaters? And in this case, the answer is absolutely yes. My friend had the jerk chicken, and she said it was spectacular. She actually lives nearby and already plans to come back regularly. Honestly, I was surprised the place wasn't packed wall to wall. The atmosphere is incredible--it has its own unique style that really makes you feel like you've stepped into the Caribbean. The music, the vibe, everything is intentional. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. We even watched them handle a large party, and they went above and beyond to make sure that group was fully taken care of. All in all, this place exceeded expectations on every level. Five stars without hesitation. If you're in Atlanta and want real Caribbean flavor--whether you eat meat or not--Miss Conduck is a must-visit. I highly recommend making a reservation and experiencing it for yourself.

We tried calling ahead, but no one answered; fortunately, it wasn't too busy when we arrived, so our tardiness wasn't an issue. There was a DJ playing a nice mix of hip hop and R&B, which set a great vibe. We weren't immediately greeted since no one was at the hostess stand, but someone from the kitchen noticed us right away and seated us. They offered a $28 "Girl Brunch" with a choice of cornbread or deviled eggs, plus either jerk chicken fried rice or croissant French toast with blueberry compote, along with a lemon drop. I chose the deviled eggs and croissant French toast and gave the lemon drop to my friend, opting for a mocktail instead. My friend ordered the cornbread and steak and eggs. We both enjoyed everything. I was pleasantly surprised by the croissant French toast, and the mocktail was just as good as any cocktail.
