The last time I came to the center was in 2011. I happened to see an email with a great deal for a beauty treatment so I did as the email said and requested an appointment. I never heard back from them so I called myself. The receptionist was able to find my old file and schedule me an appointment. I wasn't given any kind of information as to my treatment so I just went in as is. Granted I had to come from Peoria and didn't give myself enough time so I was late. The lady who did my treatment was so rude to me. To the point where I just wanted to leave. She was in a hurry so she just wanted to get me out of there. She talked down to me and insulted me like she was my mother. Girl, I'm 38!!! It wasn't until I told her I would not be coming back that she attempted to be cordial to me. Now I know that the Dr is completely professional and nice. This is not against him. I will not return. read more

I've been receiving Botox injections for years, and until now 20 units would last approximately 4+ months. They were running a special in December that was 30% less then what I was paying, so I jumped on the opportunity to save a little money. The saying "you get what you pay for" definitely applies to the Botox that was used on me, as the effects lasted a mere 8 weeks! When I asked my plastic surgeon why this happened, he said the vial that was used was probably diluted. I would not recommend Perfect Skin Laser Center. read more

PLEASE READ BEFORE COMING HERE: To start, the staff and ladies who work in the front office are very friendly and accommodating and would make an effort to remember who I was every time I visited. The one downfall of this center is Dr. Burgmeier himself the main doctor at both the Scottsdale and Chandler locations. When I went in for a consultation to get my non surgical rhinoplasty I was very nervous yet excited to finally meet someone who dealt with people with my insecurities everyday. When Dr. Burgmeier came into the room he wasn't very friendly and just looked at my nose and told me I had the perfect nose for this type of procedure but not once did he take the time to ask me what my concerns or trouble areas were. It was really awkward to be honest and every visit since has been he isn't very personable or friendly. After taking photos of my nose he went straight into saying it'll be $500 if you want to get it done right now....I was only expecting a consultation. Once I said I didn't have the funds that day he seemed annoyed and rushed for me to get out of the exam room. Nevertheless, I made an appointment for a few weeks later to get my surgery done. I did love the results and was very happy with how my nose had come out and felt amazing about myself. BUT not even two weeks later my nose had gone down and you could see my bump as if I had never had anything done!!! $575 down the drain! I called and asked for another visit to get more fillers and they said it would be free of charge. When I showed up Dr. Burgmeier insisted I pay the $500 touch up fee which in response I said I'm not going to have this done then and was about to leave when he said just this once it would be free and the next time I would have to pay for the amount of product I use. ANOTHER two weeks later my bump is back!! If you've done your research this procedure is supposed to last MONTHS up to a year! So please if you're considering coming here for a non surgical nose job, DONT. PLEASE do your research! I was so eager I chose anyplace and felt cheated out of something I should feel better about. Boycott a doctor who isn't willing to listen and be considerate enough to at least pretend to care. read more

Awful experience. I went to Dr. B for Botox and I now have one eyebrow that raises higher than the other. He injected very close to my eyebrows, which I thought was strange. I have had Botox several times and have never been injected in that area. I would never go back. read more

I have been going to Perfect Skin & Laser for the last 6 months. I have to say that after 4 treatments of laser hair removal the difference is remarkable! Already the hair that grows back is finer and fewer. I'm impressed. The techs are all so nice and make you feel really comfortable and welcome. I recommend this spa to everyone I talk to about laser hair removal. The prices are great, too. I haven't tried their facial treatments yet, but I know a couple women that have and they had fantastic results. I can't wait to finish my hair removal treatments with them! I came across this wonderful place through Groupon last year. I purchased 3 individual groupons which consisted of one year unlimited laser hair removal sessions on 3 small areas for $250 each. One was for my mom, another for my sister and one for me. I would go into the Tempe location on a 4-6 week basis to have treatment on my underarms, upper lip and bikini line during every visit. At the beginning, my appointments were scheduled for me to return every 4 weeks, and that was fine with me. Then at times, I was told to return in 6 weeks to "trick" the hair follicle. I did screw up though when missing an appointment here and there, because their schedule was so booked up due to the amount of Groupons they sold, it would at times be nearly impossible to make it up within the same month. I actually saw results since the very first session. My laser tech's were Charlene and Maggie, and even though they had very different techniques and personalities, they were both great! Charlene loves skin and is a perfectionist, so she really let me have it, and Maggie is super sweet, bilingual and patient. I appreciate her making my mom feel comfortable and at ease. Pain you say? Well, let's see. . . I remember my feet jolting here and there, cold sweat and a flushed face. All the better to accompany the sudden piercing in my delicate areas being zapped upon. AND!. . .I always numbed. If it helps, for comparison, my mom and I always numbed, my sister never did and she actually had the "brazilian" bikini treatment. She does have several piercings and multiple tattoos, and an obvious high pain threshold. All three of us saw results, in varying degrees of course. I have very sparse hairs here and there, too few to count, my mom could do with a touch up much sooner than me, and my sister should continue her treatments probably another year and not as frequently to see results like mine. Bottom line: all three of us experienced some sort of pain, saw results and were treated well by the staff (even though they lost my medical chart) and we saved a lot of money. I would highly recommend Dr. Bergmeier to anyone. All of his services are top notch. His staff is well trained. I would not go to any other place for botox. I was very nervous about getting Botox because first I was proud of being Botox free and still feel ok with how I looked at age 51 and second because I was afraid of looking artificial. But after meeting with Dr. B, he made me feel very comfortable and explained everything in a way that melted my concerns and I even took his advice and added some filler to my temples and I'm glad I did. Dr. Burgmeier isn't like most other injectors. He looks at your whole face and pays attention to cause and effect. I wish the Yelp website was as functional as Dr. B's office. This is my third attempt to get my review posted, and I wouldn't go to the trouble for anyone else. I'm 59 and I've been seeing Dr. B since 2005. I'm a regular for botox, fillers, thermal, ultherapy, and skin care products. I've never had a bad experience yet. Dr. B is my big reason for staying in the location where I live now. I have been to other skin care providers prior to Dr. B, and had many bad experiences, with the worst being a plastic surgeons office for fillers. That taught me to appreciate Dr. B's skills. He also doesn't try to push what I don't need. Many people ask me what I do for my skin, including my dentist, and many have followed my path to Dr. B's office (including my dentist and his wife), and nobody has ever reported anything but very good feedback. Natural and artistic with the fillers and botox, great with the brown spot or acne scarring removal, plus body sculpting. Best team I've ever gone to. If you're looking for laser hair removal you NEED TO GO HERE! I was just so impressed with this place I had to write a review. The office is beautiful, the staff up front is friendly and puts you at ease. They are very easy to talk to and very informative, also. I found this place on Groupon, and to be honest I didn't want to make the same mistakes I'd made in the past: investing a ton of money for treatments that were far less than effective. This is why I love Groupon and now I love Maggie at Perfect Skin. Maggie did my treatment and she was amazing, to say the least! I have had a series of laser treatments from two other technicians in the past at two different offices and they were inadequate compared to her. It's a laser treatment so you expect it to be slightly uncomfortable if not painful at times but with Maggie the discomfort of the treatment was far less than I've ever experienced. Maggie is efficient, very quick and THOROUGH! It just blows my mind how fast this went and how little pain I felt. My biggest problem with technicians (other than that they are too slow and that makes it more sensitive) is that they do not completely cover the treatment area, but with Maggie I don't have to worry about that. The laser itself is clearly superior to others that've been used on me. This time is different, the hair just keeps falling out! I have only had 1 treatment so far, but again, compared to the dozens of other treatments I've had elsewhere, this laser doesn't merely thin the hair out. The hair I had treated is pretty much gone. I like to refer to Dr. Richard Burgmeier and his staff as the miracle workers. They honestly saved my wedding. I had the most stressful summer of my life studying for the CA Bar Exam, planning a move, and a wedding all at the same time and it showed up in my face. I had been having trouble with breakouts for a couple years, but by August I had an out of control acne situation. It was really bad. My wedding was in October. I was freaking out. Every woman wants to look beautiful for their wedding and my skin was so bad that not even the most talented make-up artist was going to be able to help me, not to mention how painful it was. It was devastating. Over the course of the summer I tried all the standard treatments. My Mom convinced me to go to Dr. Burgmeier as a last resort. Guess what? By the time the wedding rolled around my skin was perfect, and ever better, it has stayed clear. If you are having skin issues, go in for a consultation. You will not be sorry. I had acne since I was 12 years old, tried everything and anything, I'm now 28. I was recommended by my esthetician some time ago to try antibiotics, once that somewhat cleared up, she recommended laser treatment for the scarring. I was recommended Perfect Skin Laser. I set up an appointment for a consult, the consult was ok but I didn't really feel very welcome or comfortable. It seemed all about making money for them. The lady introduced me to Dr Burgmeier, who really didn't seem to have any interest in what I had been through, not compassion. I went ahead with my $600 a session treatments because they assured me I would get results. I had a discount coupon so the first was $475 I believe. Second session was $600 and third was $600. I didn't get to the third session. On the first and second session I spent an hour with numbing cream on my face, the laser hurt so much the first time that the second treatment I got nerve blockers. Dr Burgmeier was the one who administered the needles. I got about 20 plus needles in my face and neck which was so painful, but he kept jabbing away as I cried, I still felt the treatment. After 2 horrendous, painful, emotionally scarring, $1075 spent treatments, I did not go back, I ended up with a sore jaw from the nerve blockers for about 6 months or more, thinking there was something seriously wrong. I rang to tell them and I was told to drive another 45 minutes to have a consult with a Dr who really didn't seem to give a shit about anything or anyone but money. I had a tiny bit of improvement in my scarring but no way near what I expected for that money. I ended up going to Skin Laundry in Scottsdale, a light and laser facial company, minimally invasive and no down time or feeling like a monster when I leave the treatment. If anyone has acne or acne scarring, don't try Perfect Skin Laser, go straight to Skin Laundry, you will save money and have a much better experience and results. read more

The day of my appointment they call to tell me they don't have the laser. I was furious. Then they try to say come in for a consult. Um. No way. And don't ever contact me again. The good news. Wow! Amazing place! Love it and I'm picky and drive all the way from Los Angeles to see Dr. Richard Burgmeier MD and his awesome staff! Since I'm on TV a lot my face is important to me, and even though it's a pain in the butt to go so far, these guys are so worth it! I first came to Perfect Skin several years ago to accompany a friend who was getting a fraxel laser treatment to diminish wrinkles, sun damage and discoloration and dark spots. I was JUST going to drive him home. Ha ha! When I saw the incredible before and after results, the professionalism and the caliber of experts and state-of-the-art laser equipment I was quite frankly shocked! The before and after pictures (un-retouched) were astonishing, getting rid of cancer-causing sun damage, wrinkles, acne scars and making some people look ten or even 15 years younger! I talked to a bunch of people in the lobby who had been coming for a long time and they all raved about Perfect Skin. I was still a little skeptical until I started trying it myself! I did the "fraxel," and I did the Photo Facial another time (I'm a beach runner and have been out in the sun my whole life so I needed serious help!). Then I got brave and did a little bit of botox between my eyebrows so I wouldn't get those nasty "scrunchy grooves" that make us look like we're mad, then the laser for spider veins on my legs and finally--- oh, yeah--- the underarm "pit hair!" lol. Basically, I have been driving to Perfect Skin from Los Angeles now for four years and I wouldn't trust my face to anyone else but Dr. Burgmeier, who is a REAL doctor who used to do pediatrics and then he switched to this because he loves it so much! I've reommended Perfect Skin to six of my best friends, who have all been so happy and have recommended them to other people. The thing I'll say is this: What I love about "Dr Rick" (as I call him--- and you can too cuz Burgmeier is a little tricky to spell and say! lol) is he always errs on the side of minimalism--- meaning he thinks "less is more" and he wants to keep us looking "natural" (not like some of those women we have all seen that end up with lip injections that look like Platypus lips! lol) and he wants to help our skin stay healthy for the long haul! So he'll say: "Valli, I'm just going to do a little bit for now and we'll see what we think in a week or so. We can always go back and do a little more... but we can't undo something that doesn't look natural--- and I don't want you to look like a different person, I just want you to look exactly the same as you do, only refreshed and healthy and glowing!" I paid in full for the removal of my tattoos and Dr. burgmeier told me that he could get my tattoos completely removed...then after nearly two years of very painful sessions my tattoos are still not gone......I was told that all my sessions had been used up, and that I would have to go to another laser doctor who I also would have to pay for.....I am very disappointed and I would not recommend going here to get your tattoos removed... read more

I went to perfect skin laser back in August to get cool suclpting done. After my initial consultation I was told that with one treatment I would be happy, they look my before photos and I had the prodcedure done.The procedure it self was fine and I had not side effects. I did not see any results even after I had waited the 3 months. When I went back after 3 months to check my progress, I was looking forward to seeing my before photos. I was hoping that the photos would show a difference. However, I was very disappointed that they didnt have the photos (they some how got lost). I expressed that I did not see a difference and was disappointed that they did not have my before photos. The tech told me she would have the doctor call me. It's now February (I'm only now getting a chance to write this) I have yet to receive a call. If you decided to get cool suclpting I would look somewhere else, not very professional in my opinion.
