Sam is always great! My eyebrows are always on point! FYI, she will now be open Mondays! And will be closing at 8pm every day now! Book your appointment now!

I got turned away around 3:08 as you can see and here are all the available times that she did not want to see me at.

I honestly hate to write this review because Sam's work on my brows has always been good, but her attitude and professionalism are the worst I've experienced. I've been a client for almost a year, and while I've tolerated her behavior up to now, my most recent visit was the last straw. I had an appointment scheduled for 4:10, but I showed up at 3:05 just to ask if she could take me in earlier. I was met with the rudest and nastiest attitude, being told she was "really, really busy" and I had to come at my scheduled time. Mind you she was sitting on her phone with a client in her chair. But when I went to cancel my appointment, I noticed she had available slots at 3:20 and beyond. It felt completely unnecessary and unprofessional. It would have been okay if she had just said to come later nicely. At first, Sam comes off as really nice, showering you with compliments, but once she considers you an established client, her true colors come out. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with respect, not as if I'm an inconvenience the moment I walk in. Sadly, all the negative reviews about her attitude are completely accurate. She accepts payments through Venmo and similar services, and all the transactions appear as "payments among friends." Pretty sure you need to have a business account set up with these services because we are certainly not friends. Just be honest, Sam--transparency matters! I've taken my business elsewhere and am now much happier with the service I'm receiving. Sam, if you're reading this, please work on your attitude. This is my first time ever writing a review, and it's unfortunate it had to come to this after today's experience.

Sam has been my eyebrow savior! I had my eyebrows first threaded by Sam a few years ago and since then I have completely entrusted my eyebrows to her. Sam has changed my eyebrows for the better. I honestly cannot imagine anyone else touching my eyebrows. I moved away for an internship, but whenever I came back I would make time just to see Sam. She not only is a genius eyebrow shaper, but she is one of the kindest and sweetest human beings I know. Seeing her is such a joy and I look forward to getting my brows threaded. Sam is both diligent in her work and treasures her customers. I honestly feel more as a friend, with her bubbly personality. I definitely recommend Sam and I am so happy that she has her own studio now. I support her 100% and I believe that if you visit the salon yourself, you will understand how I feel. read more

I was in the search of a good eyebrow threading salon when I moved to the area. All the ones close by I have been to their other stores and never had the best experience. I saw Sams place, which is about 25 min from where I live, and decided to try it out. After the first appointment I decided I wasn't going to go anywhere else. She's awesome and the best at shaping your eyebrows and making them look awesome. She'll also help you with growing out certain areas so they look as even as possible. She also makes you feel like you've known her for years. This is the best spot to go and get your eyebrows done! read more

Sam does am amazing job. She is professional yet relatable. She makes you comfortable throughout the entire process and takes wonderful care of my skin. My day didn't start off so well I had originally made an appointment weeks ago @ beautybythread in the Arden fair mall but received a phone call to inform me that the girl would be going home early because she wasn't feeling well. I completely understand I wasn't mad or anything I just knew I needed my eyebrows done for my maternity shoot the next day. They then rescheduled me with another lady & said see you then. I called back because I wanted to see if maybe another lady I was familiar with could take me instead of the random lady that they assigned me with. As I was trying to explain to them why it was urgent for me to get them done today they hung up & I tried calling back 12 times no answer. I thought it was very unprofessional & rude. I didn't know what to do so I called my sister & she then recommended me to Sam! As soon as she picked the phone up she was lovely! I've never experienced such an amazing time while booking a last minute appointment & also getting my eyebrows done. She's is the best not only with my eyebrows but her customer service is 100% the best I've come by! I would highly recommend for anybody to come & get any kind of services done by her. She is also taking precautions because of COVID & that is also a plus! read more

Sam is AMAZING not only is her touch gentle, she has such a sweet spirit. She takes pride in her work. Different name different location still the same amazing Sam! I genuinely love Sam as a person. Not only does she care about her work, but as well her clients. Sam has been my eyebrow lady for YEARS and I swear by her. I live in Sacramento and have driven to every location she moves to due to the fact she's passionate about her work. I have thick hair, and smaller pieces are best to work a blade through. I am grateful to have been fit in sooner, to have cut off my hair, but I give the hair cutting aspect a 3/5.

I have been a loyal customer for a long time, which is why this experience was so disappointing and…read morehurtful. During my most recent appointment, a noticeable portion of the front of my eyebrow was threaded off. As soon as she finished, I immediately told her that my eyebrow had been messed up and that a large part of the front had been taken off. Her response was, "Oh, I see, but it's only a little bit," and I was offered just $2 off. What may seem like "a little bit" to someone else is not a little bit when it is your face. Eyebrows take time to grow back, and they play a huge role in a person's confidence and appearance. I felt completely dismissed and like my concerns were not being taken seriously. What hurt the most was that nobody apologized while I was there. Nobody acknowledged how upset I was. Nobody offered to make it right. I still paid for the service and left feeling embarrassed, upset, and honestly heartbroken. I ended up crying afterward because I was so unhappy with the outcome and how the situation was handled. The only reason the issue was eventually addressed was because I reached out afterward myself. After contacting the business, I did receive an apology and was offered a refund, which I appreciate. However, I wish that same level of care, concern, and accountability had been shown while I was actually sitting in the chair and checking out. Word of advice, I will not be returning. I truly hope that moving forward, long term customers are treated with more respect, understanding, and sympathy when concerns are brought up. Mistakes happen, but how a business responds in those moments matters just as much as the mistake itself. I hope no one else has to leave feeling the way I did.

Sam was the one who cut my hair. In terms of efficiency, availability, and flexibility to get me in sooner than my appointment I give a 5/5. I brought in some reference photos and when my hair was fully cut and styled I wasn't sure if I liked it or not. I walked out feeling egg like, but after washing, and styling on my own I was a little happier with it. Unfortunately, in my opinion, having your hair cut is an intimate experience where meshing with your stylist is important (at least to me) and it all felt very impersonal. It felt rather rushed, and at times I felt the blade get stuck in my hair because too much was being cut with very swift motions. I have thick hair, and smaller pieces are best to work a blade through. I am grateful to have been fit in sooner, to have cut off my hair, but I give the hair cutting aspect a 3/5.

Sam is absolutely amazing! I was her first customer at beauty by thread when it opened up on Zinfandel. Iv been with her for a year. And I haven't gone anywhere since. I SWEAR BY HER. She is quick to where you don't feel pain, completely understands the idea of cleaning or reshaping. And is super gentle to where you don't feel a thing. SO HAPPY she got her own spot! She totally deserves it. Making appointments are super easy as well, and she is available majority of the times needed. She knows each of her clients by name which is super sweet. SHE IS THE BEST! To start off, we came into Sam's shop late. Extremely late. And she was so kind and still let us into the building even after we were ready to be turned away. We came all the way from Hanford and tried her first and I am honestly not going to be going to anyone else. It is so difficult for anyone to make my eyebrows look perfect and she managed to make it happen. Threading has always hurt me and made my eyes tear up but Sam did it without hurting me in any way. And she was soooo fast so my body was not aching from laying down for too long. I will definitely be returning. Thank you Sam!! read more

Sam was so nice and helpful! She clicked her tongue at the sad state of my brows that I'd been trying to grow out for a month after a bad wax job and was on the same page as I about what should've been done to them but hadn't. She's super fast, knew exactly what I was trying to go for when finding the shape of them again (especially my right brow which was butchered), and recommended how to help them grow back a little better and more evenly. She threaded my eyebrows and made them look "on point" and "beautiful" as she described them, which I agree with. She also has some cute pieces of jewelry that I was very tempted to buy.
