After buying six or seven Honda civics and accords, Annabelle found the best possible deal for me with a Honda Civic touring sedan that I did not even know existed in the Honda family of cars. The whole buying process was the best experience I have had and I've had many! From vehicle preparation to evaluating my 2021 Honda Civic EXL, the cooperation and vigilance was superb. I also have experience with another Honda dealer in town but there is no comparison to Perfection Honda and especially Annabelle and Monica. Perhaps the most important thing to say is that they stand by their warranties, including a total engine replacement that happened with me in one of my Civics about a dozen years ago. Just don't. Don't buy here. What could have been and should have been a painless experience just keeps on giving headache after headache. Within days after purchase: there appear to be electrical problems and a window on the passenger side that groans and stops halfway down. Unfortunately, I'm having to drive back to where I live near Idaho so I'm unable to get into "perfection"Honda. I've sent film of the groaning window and received a message asking me if I wanted to come in and buy a car... Sent further text messages and spoke to someone who claimed to be a "manager" but they were there on their off day...when I spoke to the salesman he said the manager has to handle it...when I spoke to the manager he said the salesman has to handle it... Typical buck passing. Makes me think of that Spider-Man meme, where the Spideys are all pointing at each other ...This is going to get interesting I'm sure . Update: After having to SCREAM , I finally got the salesman to call Twin Falls Idaho Honda and set up an appointment, explain what the situation was etc...After all, it's a brand new car that shouldn't be in this condition at all. Why am I having to deal with this? Later, as I was driving down the road I got a call from Twin Falls Honda who said "bring your car and we will get it right in." I went and true to their word got right in. It turns out the window regulator is toasted... I used the window once ...how does this happen ? Service rep there had to drag the vin number out of the salesman who according to her asked her to call me with no vin etc...Thankfully she asked the right questions and got the pertinent information. Makes me wonder what else is wrong with the thing, a brand new car...The dealer in Twin Falls incredulously wondered the same thing .Whoever inspected this vehicle or did the pre-service set up was completely derelict. That is, if it happened at all. I will wait two weeks, spend several more hours of my valuable time and have to drive another hundred miles to get the regulator installed that should have been caught before this thing left the lot in Albuquerque. So much for taking the pain out of car buying. It just goes to show when they're trying to get your money they'll be friendly but in order to get any kind of service that should be customary once said money has changed hands, one must pull out the flamethrower to get any results . My recommendation, if you're going to buy a Honda don't do it here or if you do press every button and check every possible feature unlike me who foolishly trusted that it had been done and then still think again...if there are no repercussions should they welch don't expect it to happen at all. Update: 10 February 2024:Paid my fees, taxes for my state etc at time of sale...was assured that my plates would be coming and that "Perfection" handles this all the time...only to later have it attempted by Jessica Apodaca of "Perfection" that "there's a problem and things will have to be handled differently"-likely translation, we blew it off, didn't know what was entailed and now that its past the due date and there will be a fine we want you to just go deal with it. This AFTER the 30 day legally required limit...Again, I insisted that they stand by their word (guessing it was either blown off or they didn't understand the actual cost). Rather than telling me from word go or informing me of the problem early as I even called Jessica Apodaca when at the DMV the day before the 30 day mark to turn in my former plates Jessica said "NO, we're going to handle it, its being processed by the service" Now I'm not in compliance, can be fined 1k per offence, can have my car impounded...All because of either incompetence, sloppiness or simply greed...maybe a combination. I have a car that has already had problems that I"m paying significant money for and am afraid to drive. I have spoken with them since then on a number of occasions where they assured me that the plates are being handled at "significant" expense. After weeks of research on new cars, electric and hybrid I began going to car lots and looking at potential cars. I had gone to Garcia Honda on Lomas alone (I'm an older woman) and was treated very well. My husband suggested we go to the west side and compare cars and prices. The experience was appalling. First we were ignored and then an abrupt and mildly rude man was sent to help us. He was going to bring up a car for us to test drive and we waited over 15 minutes (and they were not busy). Before he would let us drive the car he wanted us to promise we would go talk to his manager. When we wouldn't promise he continued to pressure us, so we just left. If this is how they do business then I certainly can't recommend them, ever. read more

This dealership completely ripped off my mother when she bought a used Honda from their certified cars. She purchased the car in August of 2012 last year, they kept giving her the hard sale of you will have no problem trading this car in. She paid $13,000 for a used 2005 civic with 89,000 miles on it. The $13,000 included a $1000.00 warranty. I went to three different Honda dealerships to trade it in because the car is uncomfortable and has had problems since last August and EVERYONE SAID SHE WAS MASSIVELY RIPPED OFF! They offered me $4000 for the car that she paid $13,000 for 7 months ago. These people have horrible ethics, I so wish there was karma, nice of them to take an advantage of an older single woman. I had a pleasant experience buying my Honda from here, but when trying to call in I had a very bad experience. I was first placed on hold for about fifteen minutes, then the receptionist picked back up and asked "Who are you waiting for again?" Never a good sign of attentive customer service. I was then put in touch with a mechanic who was equally unhelpful in my situation, and when I asked to speak to a manager I found out her was just as poorly equipped to help me. My family and I were traveling from Nevada to Austin Texas and we stayed the night in Albuquerque. The next morning as we were on our way out of town are engine light came on. We found the nearest Honda dealership and went in to see if they could look at it. The gal behind the front desk came out and plugged in a device to the car to see what was wrong with it. Within 10 minutes we were informed that we were okay to drive and she reset our engine light. The service here was prompt, friendly and excellent. I would recommend it to anybody. read more

Stay away from Perfection on Academy- they sold me a car that doesn't meet the safety laws in New Mexico, and the manager very rudely refused to compensate or do anything about it when asked within 45 days of the purchase-- well within their supposed "warranty" program period. The inspector told me the dealership mechanics must have fudged their own inspection to allow the sale, or just not performed it at all. What a joke. I'm out $150 to fix it and they don't even care, come on man learn some customer service. read more

My 04 Honda Civic Hybrid had IMA and check Engine (some other name on Honda) dash lights on. They checked codes, identified all were related to IMA battery , was under 80,000 mile warranty, ordered a new one, received and replaced 4 days later, for no charge. I made an appointment to meet with a salesman and test drive a Civic. When I got there the car was on cinder blocks being repaired. The salesman opened the car up for me and while I'm having a look inside, a technician came up to the man working on the car and asked him how he was doing. The guy says "well I don't want to say this in front of the customer but I'm kinda wingin' it here." I should've walked away then. I go and sit at the salesman's desk and he apologizes for his allergies that are acting up. He has snot and tears running down his face during the entire appointment. Take an allergy pill? I ask for a purchase order to discuss the car with my credit union and he takes the time to get me one. He tells me he expects me to meet with my bank once I leave the dealership and he'll hear from me soon. Well, I'm a full time employee and student so, no, that didn't happen. He calls me the later in the day while I'm at school. I call him after class and I tell him I haven't met with my bank yet. Like a dad yelling at his daughter he tells me how pressing it is for me to discuss things with my bank and then I need to come in ASAP. His pushy behavior turned me away. I couldn't even drive the car, why would I buy it outright? read more
