I was in Seattle for a trip and decided to stop by to get my nails done because I had some extra time. I came across this nail salon and decided to come here for a manicure. It was a small place and they had reasonable prices. The whole manicure probably took around 30 mins and I had gel prior so they had to remove that too. The whole experience felt really rushed like they were trying to fit in as many customers they can. read more

The girl that did my nails was really nice, but I feel like she felt rushed because their space was so small and on top of that, she was the only one answering calls as well as trying to do my nails and my friends as well. The whole business just seemed like they overbooked clients and had to rush the manicures. I was charged $50 for a gel mani with a super simple design that didn't involve jewels etc...And it didn't come out like what I showed her. She maybe took only 20 mins to finish my nails. read more

I have only been here once and will never go again. They clipped my toe cuticle so much, I bled for at least 15 minutes in the chair. I left and it turned into an infection days later. She apologize many times, admitting she cut me. Due to the infection, I have to question if the utensils were clean. read more

Confirmed an appt at 12 but they did not take me until 1PM. I really wanted to like this place based on the close vicinity but unfortunately I was not happy about the wait. No pricing anywhere in the store or online. I asked for dips and tips they said it was $60 and then did gel x which was also quoted at $60. At the end they charged $75 for the length and shape, I think this should be mentioned prior. She did not clean my cuticles or do the push down of my cuticles so i know my nails with grow out faster and for $75 I expect this type of service. read more

It saddens me when I have to update a review due to a not-so-great experience. Perfection Nails used to be my go-to nail spot a few years back. As usual, I go through a phase where I will DIY it to save money then get lured into trying other nail spots. Recently, I stopped by Perfection for a last min mani/pedi before heading off the the airport. Luckily, the place was empty so I had 2 people to work on me. The lady that was working on my pedicure was horrible. She cut my nails too short and when ahead to file them. Not a pleasant feeling at all. The polish application was neat at least. My manicure, while less painful, was very streaky. I was a bit annoyed that the lady wasn't trying to be careful with the application and I didn't have the time to ask her to do it all over again. At least I chose a nude polish so it wasn't too noticeable. Even though this place is a steal for under $40 with tip, I personally don't think its worth the cost for a mediocre mani pedi. read more

My friend and I had some free time in the city and decided to get our nails done at this place after seeing all the great yelp reviews. Let's just say it was not perfection. First, when we walked in, it reeked of chemicals. Because it was cold outside, the door was closed and in this tiny space with no ventilation, the chemicals used, especially with gel nails, was overwhelming. Because it was crowded, my friend and I waited outside. When we were called in, we chose colors and were hurriedly seated. My friend had her manicure done in a pedicure chair because all the other stations were full. I had mine done in the corner. While the lady who did my nails was nice enough, it all seemed very rushed. She cut me not once, not twice but three times on the same finger. My nails looked pretty good afterwards, but my friend's visibly had many mistakes. Our nails started chipping only a couple days after, too. It was weird that we were asked if we wanted to pay before (actually, the manicurist asked if I wanted to "buy now"....English isn't their first language and it took more than a couple seconds for me to understand that she was asking if I wanted to pay now). I thought it was smart because I wouldn't have to worry about digging through my bag and wallet for money with wet nails. However, maybe service then depends on how much you tip? Idk how I feel about paying first. Although this place is cheap, $12 for a mani, I wouldn't go back because of my whole cuticle incident and that it was probably due to the fact that everything is rushed. read more

I went there for the first time with my cousin, and we were barely greeted. When we were finally acknowledged, it was as though we were begging for something, as opposed to paying for a service. They were clearly biased, and treated other customers than they did us. I attempted to make conversation with them (to prove my point), and again was met with shortness and dismissive behavior. When my husband (who is if a different race/color than I am) came to pick me up, they all ran to the door to ask 'May I help you?' I got my answer then. I will never spend another dime here, and regret spending my money here to begin with! read more

Got a French manicure here and the job was above the notch. Small spot, but it's fully staffed when I went. I felt like my manicurist was not that friendly, but her hand massage was great. It balanced the unfriendliness with the relaxation, I suppose. She was on her phone when I left and I said bye and thanks with the receptionist/manicurist/seems like the owner. read more

I called 5 hours ahead and was told to come by at 4pm for a pedicure. I waited 15 minutes & felt very disrespected when asked "is it for you?" Looking at me head to toe. (I was in sweats it was my day off, who cares!) I got the $43 deluxe pedicure & it was ok. Don't come here to relax. If you want a fast pedicure or manicure try to get lucky with a walk in, when you can see that it is empty. To add I only tipped $10 because I felt anxious & awkward during this entire pedicure... but yet my card was charged an extra $10? I didnt even bother calling or going back because I can't even imagine the chaos it would cause for that specific shop... take your money else where in Seattle. read more

This is a small salon near the spheres. I called and made a same day appointment. They were able to accommodate me on a Saturday evening. The service was quick. I was requested to wash my hands after I got to the salon. I got a mani/pedi and I was out within 30mins. I picked the colors from the wall and then had a seat at the pedi station. The man who did my nails could have shaped them a little better, but overall was happy with it. I like the quickness of the service. My mani was gel and pedi was regular. read more

I was instantly greeted and asked to pick my color when I told her I was there for an appointment. She took her time and made sure each and every nail looked good. After being loyal and dedicated to one nail tech for over 3 years, I freaked out a little when thinking about moving to Seattle and having to find another nail tech that I could fully trust. I took the advice of yelp and made an appointment for an acrylic refill with Mary. She was super gentle, quick, and friendly. I'm really satisfied with the shape and overall outcome of my baby pink nails (see attached photos!). I will definitely be returning here! It cost $35 for a gel acrylic refill. I paid with a credit card this time, which they had no problem processing but there is a discount for paying in all cash which I intend to do next time. Like other reviewers have said, the place is small, no-frills kind of salon. Their capacity of customers is probably only 5-10 at the max so walk-ins may end up waiting much longer if it's busy. read more

BEST pedicures my husband and I have ever had. We got the Deluxe, which was well worth it and reasonably priced considering all that it includes. Massage technique was fantastic; you can tell they know what they're doing and it was twice as long compared to other pedicures we've had. My polish looks great too. read more

Called for an appointment . When I was in there i just had a little hesitate of how small the salon is. But any way picked the colors and got ped by a lady and a gel man from a guy. I notice that a woman and a man came together I guess mom and son asked for 2 pedi , the guy answer nicely that he could take 1 ped right a way and her son would wait about 10, 15 minutes because the other lady is working on a ped, they all said no and walk away with mad, rude and unhappy face and said loud "walkin welcome". The point is that walk ins welcome only if they are not busy and available, if you don't have time to wait then don't come in when you see they are busy or even call first. I just moved to Seattle, after look all reviews on yelp did called to make appointment for a ped and man. As soon as I showed up, I knew it this salon is a go to if you need to have your nail done. Here are reasons why I said that: 1 the guy I guess is the one in charged of the salon is respect appointment customers, he asked a walk in lady step in ahead of me if she could wait a tittle bit because he had more appointments come in and she did happy ok with it, by doing that he make all customers happy without delay appointment. 2 he's nice, patient to peaky customers, other two lady there very quiet, but he's the one who talk if customers like to talk. After the lady did my ped was quiet, but he did my gel manicure nicely and did talk a lot since I like to talk when have my nails done! Great customer service. Good quality. Unfriendly and bad service, keep telling peoples to pay cash! Came in on Tuesday July 3rd before flying out, got gel manicure from young skinny girl the quality is normal as others salons, she never have smile. Not sure if she is the owner or not but the way she act like she is. There are two ladies plus her, one is older and one is young like her! The reason I think she is the owner because I saw she yell at the old lady for my understanding I guess the old lady ask her what or who to do next, and she just act like YOU DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO? Bad respectful to old people compare to her age! Con: maybe she wants all cash keep saying 10% discounts on cash! This is a good salon, great customer service! I just had my gel manicure done by a man and it was perfect. He's very patient to customers! I witness that he was respect appointment! I also was there and witness a customer got mad at him and throw a pen on the floor because he charged her extra $5 on her gel manicure, she doesn't like that! But he was right it take the tech extra time to sand off the old gel polish! And also her acrylic was long too. $5 is not that much compare to time that they spend on her! You have to think fair for you and for others too! read more

During my first visit I got a pedicure and bikini wax. The ladies there were nice and friendly. The technician that worked on my pedicure did a wonderful job. I was very happy with the results especially for a decent price of $20. My waxing was almost painless compared to many places I've been before. Had a great experience at Perfection Nail Salon! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were also super efficient with my reservation and the whole process was quick and smooth. They do the BEST work. I get gel nails and they never chip or peel. I only have to get them redone when my nails grow out. They are very nice and really pay attention to detail. They get very busy and only have a couple of chairs so it is best to call ahead or even schedule an appoint the day before. read more

That's when the same kind woman who answered the phone came outside to meet me and explained that they had changed the name, which is why I couldn't find it. Honestly, between the address leading to a residential building and the completely different name, I would have never found this place without her help. That being said, the experience itself was fantastic. BI did my nails, and he is absolutely amazing--attentive, detail-oriented, and clearly takes a lot of pride in his work.
