I was looking to get a new car from performance dodge in Delaware. So when I pull up to the dealership and walk into the building. No one really seemed to help me no one really approached me. Maybe because I just got off work and was in my work clothes and maybe it seemed like I was just testing driving cars for the fun of it. I was maybe just standing there for a good 10 minutes and the only person that said anything to me was the guy named AJ (Anthony). I saw he was already with a customer and helping them out. He asked if I need anything i told him I was looking to get a new car and possibly test drive one. He was already busy with a other customer but yet still helped me out. He got me going to test drive a car and etc. so when I get back from my test. Yet again he was still helping someone else out. He asked question of how it went and how I liked it and etc. i test drove a challenger scat pack. So I didn't get that car only because I felt really claustrophobic. So I asked for his business card to maybe see if Another car would show up. So a week goes by and I see a car that I like and rush up there after work. When I get to the dealership he had already left to go home. But it was my fault for not calling him or letting him know I was on my way to check out another car. So when I get there the nice ladies at the front desk told me he has gone home. But yet they were nice enough to call AJ. I never had this happen before but AJ came back to the dealership after going home! Like I've been to other dealerships and no one has ever came back after meeting them the first time just for a brief moment. But luckily AJ came back to help me! He doesn't know me I never met him besides that time a week ago. So he comes back to the dealership and helps me out to get the car that I wanted to test drive and possibly get which was a 2021 Dodge Charger R/T. So I test drove and I fell in love with the car. So I come back from the test drive and we go from there. It's crazy cause AJ doesn't treat you like a basic customer. He treats you like a friend like he has known you for YEARS! His attitude was awesome, he always checked up on me and asked if I needed anything while the car buying process was going on. He just always made sure I was good. AJ is an awesome person he talks me like we were friends for a long time he made it a comfortable environment and not a stressful one which is perfect because some car salesman that I've met made the car buying experience very stress sometimes and I get stressed out during the car buying process. But AJ made sure I was good and not once I was stressed out and made sure I got what I want with NO PROBLEMS. So after everything I bought the car and I love it. The next day AJ texted me and asked how everything is going with the new car. Like no other car salesman have asked me that or cared to ask me that besides AJ. AJ is the man and i will definitely be sending friends and family over to him cause I know he will treat them right. dealer lied and misled - original post taken down potential buyers, stay away from this dealer. i wish i could rate then zero stars. i recently test drove a suv on their lot. upon a month a going back and forth to get the pricing right, i drove 5 hours around trip to test drive the suv. during that time there were countless email messages and calls. trying not to waste my time, i asked a couple of times why was this car on their lot so long? trying to pull out more information, i specifically asked are there any dents, dings of scratches. the original email was not returned with an answer. i asked again over email and phone and told "no, the svu is in great condition." so i decided to move forward. i had to re-arrange my work schedule and find someone to drive to delaware, oh. upon meeting with christine, she tried to get me to sign paperwork without test driving. we said we want to look at the suv first, she seemed nervous when we asked that. like she was hiding something. the first thing i saw was scratches all over the side and chips on the hood. i told christine, this is a deal breaker. she said it would buff out, but was down to the metal. after trying to say i was not interested, she called her detail guy to try to buff out. while waiting, i decided to leave and went to inform her, i was not interested. christine, left the customer she was assisting, said it was done and ran out the door, pulled the svu into the shade to hide the scratches from direct sunlight. all the dealer did was use touch up paint, that washed off, which is a poor attempt to cover up. after specifically saying, you said the svu was in great condition and it's not, you lied to me, all i received was a "i apologize". she then tried to get me to buy another car. she seemed so desperate to make this sale. i posted this original story and spoke with the general manager upon the bad review. i laid out the facts of my experience and was told "that's my opinion", several times. he seemed so arrogant. i told him it's fact as i sited who i spoke with and had it in email. the manager just offered a poor apology. it seemed he didn't even care and told me how successful they are. he doesn't understand the time off work that two people had to take, the gas and mileage spent...the time wasted. if they would have said, there are some issues people have seen, they may not be an issue for you and sent pictures....instead saying it's in great shape. lastly, my original post was taken down in an attempt to cover this up. never, i will ever buy a vehicle from this dealer. they are more concerned with the sale then being truthful. this would have been the second largest purchase i have made in my life and this dealership has soured me from buying a car all together. read more

Our contact Damon was very helpful. We originally came to look at a used Jeep and Damon had answered our original phone call. He helped us with the test drive for 2018 Grand Jeep Cherokee. He did not pressure us into buying a vehicle. We didn't quite like the Grand Cherokee as it felt a little big for us. We test drove a Mitsubishi and it was OK. Damon was very patient with us throughout this process. He was very helpful in bringing up all the possible vehicles on his tablet and gave us plenty of time for the test drives. He suggested that we take a look at a new white Cherokee Latitude as the few used ones available weren't really the color we were looking for. We test drove the new Latitude and we liked the look, features and ride. We had come up not really expecting to buy a new vehicle, but Damon did not push us in any direction. The one thing we didn't like was the black leather interior. Damon suggested that he could check with other Jeep dealerships and he found almost the same exact one with a Ski-Gray leather interior. We decided to buy that Latitude and we negotiated a fair trade in price for our 2011 Ford Escape that we drove up in. The other Latitude was shipped in a few days later. We were very happy with lighter interior. We had previously arranged the price and financing and concluded the transaction there at the dealership. The finance person explained everything very well including the additional features that were available, but did not push them on us. Damon was very helpful in showing us the safety and other features and answered all of our questions. He even set up our cell phones in the Jeep's media center and explained the process for us. Overall, it was much more pleasant experience than we anticipated. We are old enough to remember the way it used to be when you went to buy a vehicle at a dealership, which was not always a pleasant experience. read more

Where can I start. First off, I have to recognize Jon Barnett and Kurt Keyser for their hard work. Initially I researched quite a bit on the forums for an appropriate dealer to order my truck. I found Kurt's thread on the forum and reviewed how they operated the order process thru Ram. Long story short, my truck was ordered thru Jon with ease. Jon was patient and explained everything in terms of the ordering process. Let's just say, I was very eager to get ahold of my new truck I just ordered. Jon and Kurt both updated me throughout the build process when there were updates! They were both quite speedy with their replies whether it be email, texts, or calls. The transaction process was seamless, keep in mind I am 2300 miles away from the dealership. Lots of trust was inserted here. Jon arranged the shuttle from airport to their dealership prior to my arrival. From there on, the truck had been PDI'd cleaned and ready for me to take delivery! Paperwork portion, all the tech items and features were explained by Jon. Kurt on the finance side did everything quick, fast, and super efficient. Jon and Kurt are fine examples of exemplary customer purchase/service oriented experience. They did not waste my time by fluffing things up, or rather did not make it difficult for me to spend my money. I purchased a 2013 Ford Taurus a couple of weeks ago from Performance Chrysler. I inquired about the vehicle from an external website and was contacted within minutes from Anthony Johnson (AJ). AJ was very responsive from the initial contact via email and answered all my questions. After receiving the necessary information regarding the vehicle, I decided to schedule a time for a test drive. Upon arriving at the dealership, I was greeted by the receptionist and directed to AJ's desk. AJ was personable, knowledgeable and made the process an ease. He wasn't a pushy sales man and allowed me time to think thru the car buying process. However, I was disappointed that management wasn't willing to negotiate the price of the vehicle. Performance does offer a $25 gift card for stopping in that requires you to print a coupon which I was unable to print and forgot all about the coupon (you have to ask about the gift card as they will not automatically offer it to you). I did forget about mentioning the gift card the day of the purchase and later inquired about it which Katilynn the finance manager agreed to honor. As promised, I received the gift card in the mail just a couple days later. Overall, my experience with Performance Chrysler was a positive one. read more

I am from the Dayton area and was in Columbus for a winter conference at the convention center. I was in the market to replace a vehicle when I noticed on the internet one that I was interested in at Performance in Delaware. I called, was put through to Leonel and told him I could be there the next day before heading home. It was his day off, but he said he would come in to meet me. I made it there the next day, met Leonel and we were off to the races (If you work with Leonel you will understand that statement). It had snowed 6" the night before, but he had the vehicle cleaned and ready to test drive. After some small talk I took the vehicle for a test drive. We sat down and I told him what I would offer for the vehicle. He cleared it with the manager and was able to get me what I offered except for one thing which was not a deal breaker. We closed the deal. I paid for it and came back the next day to pick it up. It was ready to go as promised. I was very satisfied with the deal, but also appreciated Leonel's approach to sales. I showed up late one evening to pick up my truck from service and while I was waiting i decided to look at the showroom, Brad greeted me and introduced himself (insert typical sales guy ice breaker here) still he was professional and did not pressure me in any way he was just there to make conversation and see if he could help. Fast forward 25 min I was on a test drive trying to figure out how i could possibly get out of the lease on my jeep JK and get into this awesome JKU I was 1.5 years into a 3 year lease and had no business test driving another jeep. that's when brad stepped in with his magic and fairy dust to put together a deal that I could not pass up. I will try to keep this short and sweet. Could I have traveled 100+ miles for a slightly better deal? Of course! I didn't because Christine (my particular sales person) absolutely made my wife and I comfortable from the start. She went above and beyond to have the truck ready when we arrived and let us come to a decision without any real pressure.
