I didn't choose this place for my CPAP equipment, my doctor chose it for me. I wish she hadn't. I had an appointment here a couple weeks ago to go over my equipment and now it works. I specifically scheduled an in-office appointment because I am a visual/tactile person and require hands on demonstration. The lady who demonstrated, I don't remember her name, was not very good at demonstrating. She held up each part and basically went "do this and this and this" and that was it, sent me on my way. Almost every night, I've gotten an "adjust mask" message on my app. Do you think I have a clue how to do that? I do not, because I was never shown. Dealing with this company is a joke. I need a new mask. Then my insurance isn't going to cover it because I haven't been using it enough. At first they wanted me to bring the machine in so they could download the usage data. And then in the voicemail that they left me later after I called them, was that they were able to download it. And that's when they told me my insurance won't cover it. And they only called me to tell me so, they should have freaking emailed me. So here I'm waiting for weeks until I finally called them. And this whole time I'm sleeping with a 74% blood oxygen level. I ordered the same thing through Amazon. It's cheaper and free shipping and it'll be here in 2 days. Plus I don't have to wait on hold or wait for them to call me back for an hour or more. Amazon's software is so easy! Performance Home medical, places like this are not going to survive when Amazon is so much better. I can't wait until Amazon is supported by my insurance and I can order a CPAP machine through them. They don't answer their phones and don't call back when the system says that they will. They deliver faulty equipment and leave oxygen tanks open so they are empty in an emergency. Then they argue with you on the phone. Horrible customer service! read more

Was fitted for a CPAP machine to find that they charged me for the humidifier which is part of the machine even thought they are renting to own the rest of the machine. They then charged over 400 $ and what I got was the forementioned humidifier, hose and mask which they break up into about 4 pieces to charge more. Then they try to sell you supplies before anything is near worn. It is what they can get away with with insurance. But if you have not met your deductible it will come out of your pocket. What a terrible company threatened me they would take the cpap machine away for non compliance ,I asked compliant for what? The said they needed the finale payment which was 175.00 I told the Medicare got this for me,. They would not fulfill a request I made for a new mask because I was not compliant. After Medicare got involved and told them that it was not legal for them to try and convascate a medical device and cleared the finale payment issue up know there telling me I need to go back and get a new prescription. Talked with 4 different people over 2 days and they could not find a reason that my order had not been shipped out even though it had been placed 19 days earlier. Not sure what is going on with this company lately. They had been decent the last couple of years but their customer service is some of the worst I have encountered. After I receive my latest order (if I get it) I will be going to a new supplier that believes in good service. read more

Every local # listed goes to central call center and you cannot reach office where you got your CPAP. I tried for 4 days. The call center recording said on each day 36-48 people were ahead of me. One day i waited 1 hr. Next day over 2 hours. You have option to press 1 to keep place in line for call back. Did that 3 days in row...NO CALL BACK ON TOp OF THAT, I was involved in Phillips recall and they gave me a Resmed s11. I was trying to a battery. To back up in case of power outage but no one could tell me what to get because the s11 did not show on any battery compatability list. I finally got through to Resmed who told me theS11 was so new that required adapters have not been developed yet. I finally found a pass through battery that works on ALL CPAPS. And guess what? The place I was trying and failing to reach carries them. 4 days of complete frustration. Now i find that under Medicare performance medical needs to rent me this machine for 4 mo before I can change supplier. You can bet I will change as fast as I can to Puyallup Medical. They are party to the Phillips CPAP recall. Phillips sent a replacement CPAP with a filter good for 30 days but will not send replacements until 11/31/21. I received the replacement on 09/19/21. I recent suffered for congestive heart failure with a clot and afib. I should mention that I am a retired military member and Vietnam combat veteran. I was actually sent to the Puyallup office by the phone support. The call center couldn't help me but they advised me to drive to the store because they would. The route to get there is one of the busiest traffic routes in Pierce County. read more

another vote for "they don't answer their phone." also, if you must do business with them, DO NOT sign up for their autopay service. They have hit me for multiple unexpected charges that are not in any paperwork, plan of care or maintenance on equipment. When I finally got thru the red tape of renting a portable oxygen concentrator, I picked it up and had questions. The gentleman working said he didn't normally deal with these and wasn't sure. He did tell me that I could adjust the oxygen level higher (wrong!) so since he didn't have answers, I took the machine in hopes of figuring it out. It also was not the small compact I requested, it was a tow along. So the next day I decided it wasn't going to work for the trip and returned it. They didn't want to refund anything since I took possession and I explained that they didn't deliver what I ordered nor could they answer my questions! After several conversations and back and forth, they decided to give me $120 back from my $300. This also took several phone calls back and forth and almost 2 months to get. When I finally got my check, they had actually given me $180; so only $120 for less than 24hr rental . Thought that was all settled and done until I got a bill for $600! They are now charging me for July and Aug! Wow this company is so dysfunctional that they can't even keep track of their inventory! How can you think you're renting out a machine to someone that should be tracked! Unbelievable! Worst customer service (with the exception of 1 person but her name is written on a bill so I don't have it right now). I wouldn't recommend using them -EVER. read more

My issue is the old bait and switch tactic of billing costs. I was quoted $300 up front cost then around $15 per month. They had my insurance information before they quoted me. Long story short my monthly bill is around $120. I feel they do this on purpose as by the time I found this out, I have already paid my $300 fee. Now I am left with a tough choice of paying this higher cost or returning the equipment. I returned the equipment as I can not do business with a company with poor ethical behavior and lack of prep work to accurately give a quote. No option for a -10 rating or I would have ised that rating, hands down! I have waited in line for over a total of 2.5hrs to 3 hrs, maybe more, over the past 3 days to get a new CPAP machine after mine quite working. But they dropped the ball constantly and the information given to me on the calls was completely wrong. Even though they got all the information they needed, after I call multiple times, including the CMN certificate to get the machine ordered in emergency status, which they had an entire day before sending it to insurance company, they held up the process with so many delays I will not make the timeline to get the machine ordered so it will not be covered by my current insurance and I will have to pay outbid pocket. The average wait time is a minimum of 45min but I have waited as long as an hour or more than once. When you add in the long history of receiving the wrong supply orders in the past, their track record makes this company one of the absolute worse medical companies I have encountered. My multiple bad experiences go back to pre-covid so they don't get to say all the really bad customer experience is because of covid. I only used them this time because I was forced to and had no other choice. They could care less about their customers and live their MANY EXCUSE!!! read more
