Over the last two months I have visited Bellevue Healthcare's Tacoma showroom three times, and, EACH time we were warmly greeted, and then patiently & compassionately assisted by one of the most personable and courteous individuals, a young woman named, Christina. She was not only genuinely kind & helpful, but it was also self-evident that she was informed (i.e., knowledgeable & competent), and, that she took pride in her job. On our second visit, I brought my 99-year-old mother to have her personally view some of the numerous optional models of each type of healthcare equipment that Bellevue Healthcare thankfully chooses to display in the largest showroom for healthcare equipment that I have ever seen in the Seattle/Tacoma region. In a day & age when almost everything has gone to "online sales & service", it is still nice to "see & feel & try out" products in person whenever possible -- especially medical and mobility-related equipment. Upon entering Bellevue Healthcare's Tacoma showroom it was immediately obvious that Christina was focused on providing us with no less than her 100%, undivided attention -- I think to learn as much as possible about my mother's individual needs. It was also nice that she managed to establish a rapport with my aged mother, and, made my mom feel as if she still had value as a human being as well as the respect of someone other than a member of her family or inner circle of friends. Of course, Christina, herself deserves praise for being not only a consummate professional and genuinely gracious during our visits, we also feel that Bellevue Healthcare's management deserves credit for whatever it is they are doing to not only carefully select good people to staff their showrooms, but also to train, support & inspire staff to the exemplary level of "classic" customer service that we witnessed during our in-person visits to their Tacoma showroom. After a terrible experience with another company, my doctor suggested this company. Because of breathing problems, I was marginally functional. They were very patient, and delivered equiptment the same day. The person explained everything and was very patient. A hose I received got mangled(my fault) I called for a replacement on a Saturday night- it was on my doorstep the next afternoon. A pulmonologist suggested I might benefit from a lighter portable machine, and called in a new prescription. Writing in to share our appreciation for the quality of service your staff provided to us when we were seeking to obtain a Golden Literider Envy Power Chair and to get a first-hand demonstration of its functionalities. We had been looking for quite some time to find a dealer that physically had the product on hand. When we arrived at the store the staff were kind and courteous in greeting us. They brought out the Blue model for my wife and I and spent the next hour with us demonstrating the operation, assembly and disassembly of the Envy chair as well as describing its special features. With their helpful assistance, we became comfortable with the operation of the unit and its capability to meet our needs. We expected to pay the list price, knowing that we could get a lower price from multiple vendors online like Amazon. We were especially pleased when Bellevue Healthcare offered to match the lowest online price. For the same price, we essentially had an opportunity to physically put our hands on the unit, get questions answered and ultimately gain useful information about its safe operation. Went in there on a Saturday afternoon and there was not one person around to help me. After waiting for over 15 minutes, I finally went in the back where the offices were. I found one gentleman at his desk with headphones on!! So he comes out to help me and he is sitting behind the counter which was about 5 feet high. Me being in a wheelchair, I couldn't even see him. My family went through a horrible experience, of my father having a massive heart attack. He spent a number of days in ICU and was discharged to recover at home. We were unaware of some of the side effects he would experience on the medication he was sent home with. Unfortunately, his joints and legs were so swollen and in so much pain he had been stuck in a chair for 2 days. My mother had attempted to lift him out, but due to her limitations he was stuck.. I always knew the day would come when our rolls would be reversed, child caring for parent, I just didn't realize it was coming so quickly. When I went to check on my parents and saw the condition of my father I knew that I needed to have a hospital bed delivered as soon as possible, so he could lay and elevate his legs and begin the healing process. I GOOGLED and your company name came up. I phoned in, the minute you opened and a wonderful women spoke to me, she sympathized with my situation, said she understood the urgency of having a bed delivered that same day, and put me on hold. She came back and said they would waive the same day delivery fees. She also stated an individual would call me and let me know when the bed would be delivered. The gentlemen called back within an hour and stated between 3:00-4:30 pm that day he would be there. However, he was early and came to set up the bed at 2:40pm. I was so impressed on how sensitive he was to my families situation, he chatted with my parents, commented on their kitty, and very patiently explained every button on the controller for the bed. We still have the bed and my dad is using it for the remainder of the month, I just cannot express how grateful I was to everyone I have spoken to from your company. No offense but I hope I never need any medical equipment again, but most likely I will and you would be the first company I would call. I want a BIG Kuddos to the woman who walked me through the process to place the order for my father, and another BIG Kuddos to the man who set the bed up. PS..I even called your number today to see where I could post some feedback and a wonderful gentlemen patiently directed me to your website and made sure I knew what I was doing before disconnecting. I used this company to rent medical equipment when my husband had surgery and am thankful for the expertise shared with me in their show room. I wasn't sure what I needed initially, but with the guidance of a nice young man who took me through their selection and even provided a demonstration for the equipment I was able to confidently make a selection. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was in a foot cast (unable to bear weight on my broken foot) & approached the store on my crutches & there was no automatic door opener. So I struggled through the door (no one came to assist me). Once I got inside there was only one employee on the floor & she was completely indifferent to my needs or why I was even there. She was working with another customer & one might think that a store where you are renting, overstuff chairs that raise a person to the point they can stand, hospital beds, knee scooters & shower chairs ( last two are what I needed) would have an area for customers to sit while they wait ... not here. After standing there on my crutches for awhile & no one had even addressed me, I asked if there was somewhere to sit while I wait & wait & wait. Ugh! Finally she is ready to "help" me (hardly... did I mention indifference) she gets me the knee scooter & shower chair I needed. Then at check out she wouldn't bill my insurance even though they have a sign at the cash register stating they do. So fast forward to 2.5 mos when I finally can bear weight on my foot & no longer need the knee scooter & shower chair. I return these to the store. Once again there is only one employee on the floor who once again is completely indifferent to the customer she was "helping" & myself. This customer & I commented on the poor service & the lady said she sees why they only had a 1 star rating. As I am returning these items that I have been "renting" she informs me that I "own" the shower chair. I said ... "what"? She tells me I "capped" out so I bought the chair & that if I want to donate it back to the store I could do that. I discussed this matter with her & that I was not told anything about this "capping" out & that I want my money back & got no where. Here's the silver lining ... the lady she was working with when I got there just so happened to need the exact shower chair I now "owned". So she asked if I wanted to "donate" it to her & she'd pay me for it, right in front of this unpleasant employee. I donated my chair this nice women & did not make her pay me. So it ended well !!! But not due to anything Bellevue Healthcare did. If you can find another business to get what you need I strongly recommend you go there ... anywhere but this business. read more
