I purchased BMC performance air filters for my new Nissan Z here. I picked them up when they were…read moreready. When I tried to install them, they did not seem to fit correctly. I emailed them and got a response the next business day. After a couple of emails, they were willing to give me a refund. When I went back to get that done, I spoke to the owner, who asked if I'd mind letting him see the issue. I had no problem. The new filters were clearly of higher quality then the ones that came with the car. They also were made withy higher quality materials. That seemed to be the issue. The old filters fit very loosely into the air filter housing and the new ones did not fit easily. After a few minutes and some pictures, the owner discovered that the filters do fit, they are just far more snug. He as willing to give me the refund or have someone trim the filters. After they fit, neither was necessary. They'll work fine. I really appreciated how willing EDO was to deal with the issues I had, including giving me a refund, which I ended up not wanting. I already saw that they have a great selection of high end car lubricants and I will be back here to have them do the oil changes on the car. I came in to buy air filters and I left wanting to be a returning customer.

We spoke to shop after shop, not getting the right vibe from them; that is until we talked to Pete. Right from the start Pete was very confident, knowledgable and most of all, patient! We came in to meet and talk a bit more about our goals and budget. I knew that I was interested in doing an LS conversion but not necessarily all of the little details that go along with that; this is where Pete's experience really shines. There is no guesswork or experimentation when Pete is doing these builds; He knows what is going to work, simple as that. Of course there is room for customer input, and at several points in the progress of our build we did get called in to talk choices on aspects of the build. I always felt informed and presented with rational options, and always felt in control of the outcome, Pete made it easy to make decisions. After a written estimate and parts list breakdown, we contracted Pete for the build in the summer of 2020. Even during the madness of the virus era, with parts delays etc, we were completed in roughly 6 months of time. The finished car is like nothing I've ever driven, such a pure driving experience! It really is wonderful how great our car turned out. We like to say that if GM/Chevrolet offered an LS3 option in 1969, it would look just like our engine bay because everything is clean, conservative and raw at the same time. Nothing looks out of place or over the top, it's perfect. Just an all around proper LS swap, absolute perfection.
