I found Sal's on Yelp and called ahead to see if they had time to check out my car, and they did. When I got in, CJ was very welcoming and had Kevin take a look immediately. Within 5 minutes, there was a diagnosis and the quote was more than fair. Upon further inspection as the work was being done, it turned out I had another problem that couldn't be seen, initially, and was only found because they went an extra step further to ensure my car's safety and the life of the repair they were doing for me. CJ took the time to show me the worn down parts and the adjusted rate for the additional repairs was also more than fair. I waited in the coziest, air-conditioned lounge decorated with antique cars, trains, art and furniture pieces. Once the repairs were finished, Kevin did a double check by taking my car out for a short drive and made adjustments to ensure that all was well before I drove off. These guys are thorough and really care that everything is done just right. After all was said and done, I was out in about 2.5 hours with a safer car, and a feeling that I got much more than I paid for.
