He listened and his suggestion was perfect and in-budget!), and left thinking, "well, nice thought, probably a waste of time". I got a call the next day. He said "We got you approved! Come pick your car up!". I was amazed. No one else was willing to do anything for me. Not any small dealers, not any other big ones. Deery was able to do it, and they did so without making me feel awkward about my situation or simply shuffling me out the door like the others. Which is good for them, as they're now my first choice now that my credit is great, and I have a bigger budget. Sucks to be the guys that turned me down. When I asked about fixing the sunroof, I was told the $250 discount covered that and to take it to a Mercedes dealer if I wanted it working. Overall, it felt like we were doing them a favor by buying. The salesman didn't bother to figure out how to adjust the seats and acted like our time was up, quickly moving on to bigger buyers.
