My buddy took his car into Firestone at 7:45 am this morning to have the ac charged they got a phone call at 200 pm saying the pro charger was seized up along with the ac compressor that was just replaced brand new so we went to pick the car up and nothing on the vehicle was seized at all we are adding our own Freon and everything is just fine and working well with the vehicle so either Firestone tech's absolutely don't have a clue about the vehicles they are working on or they are just attempting to charge for items that are not broken and don't need fixed what a nightmare tread with extreme caution if taking your vehicle here for service we do not recommend it period read more

Wife's jeep had a simple oil change. She drove 7 miles home and car leaked 2 quarts of oil. Dip stick was sticking up an inch, engine cover was just laying on top of engine not secured down. They wanted us to drive it back. I refused and asked them to get a tow truck to take it back. They finally did. They said the drain plug wasn't tight. Driving back would have ruined the engine. They took 4 calendar days to get the work done when two calendar days were originally promised. The shop tech/mechanic forgot to put some parts back on my automobile when the water pump and timing belt were changed. Lack of attention to detail. This joint is not ASE Certified and has no Better Business Bureau rating. This place had gotten many 1 and 2 start reviews on Yelp! and I see why. No more corporate/franchise tire stores for engine work for me. I will be seeking the Toyota dealership or an independent shop with a high-star rating, ASE Certification and a high Better Business Bureau grade in the future. read more

Im 50 yrs old and this is the worst service I've ever got. They did an oil change and didn't put oil in. I broke down downtown after leaving there shop, they didn't cover the tow. They worked on it the whole next day and then told me I needed a new battery. It started hard the whole next week and then broke down again in Perry iowa and they told me I had to tow it into their shop before they could determine if it was there fault. Jaime, I think his name is, was very rude on the phone and said they wouldn't cover tow and it was up to me to get it in to them. I ended taking it to a local guy in Perry the next day named Chuy's and he figured out it was the starter right away, he replaced it and it runs like new. Made an appointment a week in advance for first thing on Friday to have new tires installed, oil changed and an alignment performed. Went to drop car off and was met at door by Patrick, an employee (not usual person in front office), who identified me by name and then told me they had a "raging case of Covid" and was blocked from entering. Note there was no sign on the door or any indication of a problem to this point. Told him it was fine I've already had it and again attempted to enter. He then told me "no, you don't understand, I have one tech and six vehicles". I said yes, and I made an appointment for first thing today, thinking that I would be the first or second in line based on my conversation with Felicia when I made the arrangements the week prior. Now, Patrick became agitated and again told me "You don't understand, we're not working on your car today. I have one tech and six cars and my bosses told me I have to just have to make do." I asked even though I have an appointment for first thing? He said "no we're not working on your car today." And with that, I thought "and you never will again", and departed. Patrick was rude and unhelpful and there no phone call prior to my arrival indicating there was a problem or that they couldn't work on my vehicle that day. Additionally, there was no attempt to reschedule the appointment. What I find most interesting from a business perspective is that it is now Wednesday of the following week and there's been no attempt by anyone from this location to contact me to offer an explanation, apology or reschedule the appointment. read more

October 11, 2018. Went in to have tires changed. 1pm appointment and dropped the car off. Tires were changed, alignment complete at 2:45 PM. No issues as of yet, took the car out up to highway speed no shake or road noise, alignment is good with no pull or drift that is noticeable. Tires look good. Cost was good given a name brand tire, service was reasonable. I will get the tires rotated consistently and we will see how it goes. Nothing to note where I felt like they were over the top helpful. I would add that they are not inefficient or disorganized as some reviewers have noted. If you are a reasonable customer I would recommend them based on two different experiences now. If 1/2 stars were available I would rate them 4.5, but rated them four, efficient tire change at a reasonable price. read more

Have a screw in my tire. Called 7:45 am to find out their hours and was surprised at a live answer and an appointment at 1 pm. Perfect. I prefer an appointment to just showing up and waiting to be worked in. Arrived at 12:55 and checked in. Didn't sit in waiting room as it was small with a much too loud TV. Nice day--walked across the street to do a little shopping and was surprised my car hadn't moved when I walked back. I generally allow 15 minutes to wait after appointment times. We took our van in for a much needed oil change and to check our tires. The manager was not pushy at all and squeezed us in at the last moment. He also offered to give us a discount that was a couple days expired on new tires, however, we held off at the moment. I will be scheduling a time soon to have some tires replaced. read more

I was told my vehicle was low on coolant and authorized to have more added. When I picked it up, they had done an unauthorized coolant flush for $14.99 plus and additional $50 for labor?! Also, I had a flat tire needing replaced. The wheel lock key had broke so I was instructed to order/pay for one from the dealer (which Firestone did go and pick up from the dealer-- I did thank them for this!) and it would be deducted from my Firestone bill. It wasn't, instead the store charged me an additional $5 for a coupon book and then processed the coupons! The wheel lock key was $58 and the coupons discounts only came to about $31. They also added on Road Hazard Protection, without asking for an additional charge of $18.70. In total, I overpaid approximately $110! This is so disappointing that they would take advantage of me and add on all this extra stuff while trying to disguise it as "we gave you all these discounts". I was so flustered when trying to read through the bill and these supposed discounts; the bill was a mess and it was easy to hide in the extra charges. read more
