what a horrible experence i received from shane holcomb. i dropped off a vehicle for an alignment on tuesday 4-14 and the lady i handed the keys to (shane's wife) told me that the vehicle would no be aligned until tomorrow (4-15) and i told her that was fine. i called the next day around 4pm to check up on it and called left message no return calls, they pick up and put me on hold and the phone hangs up this happened twice and finally i get a hold of them and shane's wife tells me that the vehicle is next in line that was on 4/15 a/m and she told me it will be done the same day. well i called around 3pm to check to see if the vehicle is still on target to be aligned and again tryed calling again phone calls go into voicemail and of course no return calls. called the next day 4/16 and again calls go into voicemail, no returned calls back this went on all day me trying to see whats going on and i called today 4/17 and phone is immediatly picked up on the first ring and was shocked on the tone of voice of the person that answered (shane holcomb) and he sauy 'why do you keep blowing-up my phone?" boy did he unlesh his frustrations on me i had to tell him to calm down i'm a prevoius customer and i told him that your wife had told me that they will have my vehicle done on 4/16 and shane says "no she didn't!... i was standing right next to her." why would i lie i had a co-worker with me and he herd her say it as well. shane then tells me "man come pick up uyour truck and hangs the phone on me. really! and this is a co-owner of the business. what a disgrace to the company. read more

My first experience with Performance Tire & Wheel was a very positive one. Steve and John are both knowledgeable and wonderful to deal with. In my case, I have a 98 corolla that needed new engine mounts (some had been put on that were aftermarket but they were not the best). In the case of engine mounts, aftermarket is not always the way to go unless you can find something close to the original. They found it - and replaced the front mount - which eliminated most all of the vibrations when the car was idling. They also found a problem that another garage had missed in the axle. However, unlike some chain fix-it places, they don't go manufacturing issues or trying to pilfer you for problems that are not really significant issues. My hat is off to these guys, and I highly recommend them. read more

I'm always buying and selling different vehicles so I end up a the tire shop a lot. This is hands down the best tire shop in west Volusia. Always honest and take lots of pride in their work. Owners are very nice to deal with and prices are just as good as anywhere else. Work done here is far superior to any other shop I've ever used. Only thing to keep in mind is you generally need to make an appointment. Can be a bit frustrating if you need something done immediately but it keeps them from getting overloaded with business and rushing the work. read more

Last month I returned to Performance Tire and Wheel in Orange City to have my rear window mechanisms looked at and replaced. Steve and Jenny asked their Auto Repair Mechanic to check out the mechanical problems. Steve gave me a written quotation outlining everything that had to be done and when I could pick up the car. They are not only a great Rim and Tire Dealer but fixed my windows, that same day, then drove my Jeep back to my office to pick me up.
