I noticed that all of these reviews are primarily addressing customer service and not the quality of the products sold/received. I've been to the local Perfumia ONCE, and got good customer service testing a couple high-end (YSL and CH) men's EDT. I bought my first items from Perfumia on-line last Friday (D&G The One for Men (3.3 oz) and Nautica Voyager for Men (3.4 oz)). Their web-site was easy to use and I got 20% off their already low prices and free shipping. I haven't received the items yet, so I can't comment on shipping/delivery time or product quality. From my in-store testing experience, I expect that the products will be legit and not fake. I have other stores locally to use for comparison, and I have tried both products before. So, at this point, I have to give them a 3 star for good (as expected) customer service, good prices and free shipping, and ease of ordering. What more can I say. I'll update this review regarding product quality once my order arrives . Update: 3/19/2015 I received the order I placed Friday 3/13 at 11:30 pm, and which shipped Monday 3/16, today. That's very good shipping serviceconsidering the order shipped out of NY. Both of the items arrived well packed in factory sealed boxes. I checked the lot/batch codes on-line and the Nautica was manufactured Jan. 2014 and the D&G manufactured Sept 2014. So both relatively fresh and not beyond shelf life. I see no reason to suspect either are fakes..no reason at all. I am completely satisfied with Perfumania's customer service, shipping response time, and legitimacy of product. I'll be buying from them for sure in the future. GOT SCAMMED! I purchased Versace Eros Pour Femme perfume from this store thinking that it would smell like the Eau De Toilette version since according to the employee working there said that it would smell the same. When I arrived home, I used 1 small spritz to smell the perfume. To my disappointment, it smells totally different from the EDT version. When I went to the store, the employee DIDN'T ALLOW ME TO RETURN the perfume since it was "used". I only used 1 spritz to smell the perfume and now I feel ripped off almost like my money was stolen since the employee was pretty rude about it and on top of that lied to me before my purchase. 5 star! The customer service here was EXCELLENT. I was greeted as soon as I walked in even though both Erika and her coworker were both with customers. I came in and knew exactly what I wanted but was waiting for other customers to move out of the way. Erika assisted in helping me find another scent just for me but either way because of Erika 1. I'll be back and I HATE malls I shop mostly online, and 2. I have a membership. Good job Erika and thank you! read more

The lady in the Livermore outlet store is atrociously rude and unethical. We bought a gift set and were given a box with no seal. I should have checked it before it was put in a bag, my mistake. When we came back to return it she was super busy being rude to other customers specially to those people who are of color. She denied to take it back and handed us return policy and walked away. When said that as it's not used we can return it and she was like I can't do nothing. It's used as it's open. She was either too lazy to take it back and refund or she is was just a racist (felt it based on how she was talking to 2 other customers who were Asians). Told all my friends to never go to this store, the outlets has many more perfume stores. read more

I bought 3 fragrances here and when I got to my house, they weren't the ones they had shown me, I went back to that store and the manager said the box is mine but the bottle is not mine, meaning that the fragrances they sell there are fake, be very careful they sell cheap but it's fake BEWARE read more

Yelp needs to add a 0 star option. I went in and asked for my usual perfume in a large bottle. Lindsay said she had it. Super. You're in the perfume business, so you know the big bottle is 2.4mL. I opened the plastic to show my pops the bottle, and realized it's the 1.7mL. I went back and explained the situation and they said they can't accept it because it's been used. I once again said it hadn't been. Anishni, the manager, said she'd spray it three times to see if it had been used. It sprayed on the second spray. She then accused me and my mom of lying and would've refund my money. All in all, this place is run by people who have no business running a business. I hope both ladies have explosive diarrhea for a week. read more

I was there in lunch time the rude lady was enjoying her lunch and ask me to wait for few minute and few minute end up in 30 minutes, finally sold me a perfume which later on I found which was not original, cheap customer service as she don't know any thing about it and 2ndly selling flea market stuff, never go there. read more

I've been to Perfumania & their prices are pretty good, compared to higher end stores. Their designer fragrances are the real thing, not fakes. They often have good deals & promotions such as 'Buy 1, Get 1 $9.99' and the good stuff is included, like Burberry & CK. I absolutley love Thierry Mugler's Angel & they currently have it 20% off (which actually makes a difference since the perfume is a pricier one to begin with). They even have spa lotions which are super moisturizing. I have no idea why the 1st review gave the review that she did. Actually, I can think of one reason. She must work for the competitor that she keeps mentioning so much, including their location and everything. Every time I've been there, I received great customer service & the sales woman even helped me get a better deal & more value for my money. The free gift w/ purchase doesn't hurt either, usually really good, practical & useful items such as designer tote-bags. I believe they're located next to Wetzel Pretzel (so Yum, btw). read more

I had 2 items in my cart and upon signing in, somehow, a 3rd item was mysteriously added. The total checkout prior to finalizing was $91.91 and then jumped to over $130 when I finalized. I emailed their customer service immediately, asking for the erroneous item to be removed. 3 days later, I receive a reply saying they were not able to remove the item from my order. I canceled the entire order, requesting a full refund. Several days later, they refunded $54.39, leaving a non-refunded amount of almost $78. Upon contacting their customer svc by phone, I was advised that it is "because of the system" and that they have "no control" over THEIR SYSTEM - it will be another few days before I see the remainder of my refund. First of all, the products that are sold here are fake and that is why they were able to bring down the price. The perfume smell does not last long. It stays only for 2 hours. I sprayed like 10 times all over my body then after 2 hours it is gone. Really! Moreover when i went to return the next day the manager told that she can not accept it as it will not get sold since i open the cover. When i asked her to return it to the manufacturers she told me that they will not get these from the manufacturers which clearly says it is duplicate and fake. I suggest not to buy perfumes from Paragon or Premier outlets, Livermore, CA. Try Sephora or any high end stores even though the prices are little over $5 to $10 bucks you should get a quality product. read more

Do not shop at Perfumania at the Paragon Outlets in Livermore, CA. I went there a couple weekends ago and wanted Burberry Perfume which was $55, the next weekend it was $79 and when I told the clerk with heavy makeup and long black hair that I would check around she told me not to go to Signature Perfume across the way because their perfume is all fakes! Really-talking trash about a neighboring business! REALLY??? Does she think that this will bring her more business-NOT! I am a business woman myself and I am in the middle of a lot of competition and when a customer says they are going to check out prices at my competition I do not bad mouth that business-does she not know that bad mouthing is BAD BUSINESS. She also told me to look on YELP at their bad reviews which there were none about fake perfumes being sold there. Did I buy from her? NO WAY-I went to her competition who were very nice and bought TWO bottles of perfume from them and they gave me a great deal, see what happens when you bad mouth a business, she needs to learn a thing or two about customer service, I also told the people at Signature Perfume what she was doing and I also called the Mall office and reported her. This is just something you do not do to gain purchases in your store, this is dirty business lying about your competition. Go to Signature Perfume, they treat you right and do not bad mouth Perfumania even though they are across from one another. read more
