I called and spoke with Marilyn shortly after they opened last Thursday. She recognized my parents' Address and proximity to her shop and so was confident she could deliver a fresh bouquet that day. She took the time to give me an inventory of what flash flowers had come in that day and what she thought would be a nice combination. We agreed on an appropriate price for what I envisioned and settled up with the transaction in an efficient pleasant manner. Not two hours later I get a call from my mother, ecstatic with a beautiful arrangement that had just been delivered to her door. In under two hours Marilyn had greeted me pleasantly on the phone, coordinated my order and took down the appropriate details, created a beautiful, original floral arrangements and had it delivered to their door! Truly wonderful service! I will definitely call the wild orchid studio/El Dorado Hills florist again for my floral needs. PS-the photo on the left is of the arrangement the day they were delivered. If they were unable to deliver on the requested time, they could've called me; my number was also written in the steps prior to purchase. I do not appreciate this type of service especially coming from a company that seemed great from initial appearance, but clearly lack in quality customer care. But it's very clear they don't really care, otherwise I would've been informed via call or email but again, got nothing. There's a reason why I stated my request for a certain time frame. It is what it is now. 2. I paid about $5 extra for them to send me an email of how the flowers looked prior to making the delivery -- what's the point of that when I never received it at all? Take that option off if you're unable to deliver such service that's outside of what you actually can do. It makes no sense how something simple can turn out complicated even in the slightest bit. And no, I'm not upset. Just unfortunately disappointed at the professionalism and lack of quality care that I had to share my experience with everyone here. The flowers on the other hand looked nice from the image that was sent to me from my family member. Although the flowers looked nice, the quality of service should match. It doesn't. I didn't want to believe what the other negative reviews were saying since I prefer to give things a chance at least once, and unfortunately I see why others weren't happy with their experience. Again, yes the flowers were nice, but I wasn't informed, at all, through email or phone about the delivery time and also paying an extra $5 to see what it looks like before sending it off. No point in having that as an option online if you're not going to do your part. I'm sure others have had great experiences with this shop; I don't doubt that. He told me there was no address. Just a street. But he read off my correct phone #. None of that made any sense because how could they attempt delivery if there was no address? And if they had my phone number which clearly they did why would they not call me to get the correct address? Why just cancel the order on Christmas? Anyway, the guy who answered the phone was very nice and very apologetic and insisted that he drop some thing off personally at my house to make up for it. And he did, within the hour.
