I was going to write a scathing review because my kids ordered an arrangement for me for Xmas. They supposedly tried to deliver on 12/24 but I wasn't home. My daughter in law informed me that they'd reattemp Next day Xmas, then Sunday so probably closed. Monday nothing. Tuesday nothing. I told her they never came. She called the store to find out what happened and they told her the order was canceled and she was refunded. Huh?? So I called the store and let them know that this was my one and only Xmas gift and how disappointed it was that they'd cancel someone's gift regardless of the occasion. He told me there was no address. Just a street. But he read off my correct phone #. None of that made any sense because how could they attempt delivery if there was no address? And if they had my phone number which clearly they did why would they not call me to get the correct address? Why just cancel the order on Christmas? Anyway, the guy who answered the phone was very nice and very apologetic and insisted that he drop some thing off personally at my house to make up for it. And he did, within the hour. Nightmare. Ordered birthday gift for delivery. Received confirmation. The delivery time came and went- 3 hours later, I received a text stating "Order Cancelled " staff did not show up." That was it. No offer to assist. When I called (multiple times), there was no answer. How can a service organization not know that there is no staff working? Who's in charge? Where is the customer service? I was looking to get something nice for my friend's birthday. A few people suggested EA. After looking at the reviews for this place I was real hesitant to seek their services. However a good friend said they utilized this EA for many occasions and never had a problem. Another friend pointed out that the 'problem' with Yelp is that most people will leave bad reviews and not remember to leave good reviews when they were satisfied. Well I'm not the norm!! Since I'm a busy mom, I placed my order online on my phone. I had no problems! Immediately after placing my order I realized my mistake. My friend is allergic to strawberries. Rather than try to figure out the website, I called them. A friendly voice helped me and ensured that no strawberries would be in the arrangement and no cross contamination either in the preparation! Crisis averted! I had opted for self pick up since I had the time and I wanted to verify my order was good anyways since I was still skeptical about this place. I wish I had checked the reviews before ordering! At all costs, please avoid this location. Go with flowers! This place is a rip-off! My order was a day late, not contactless delivery, the strawberries I ordered were not provided, AND the single balloon I ordered was not included. Upon calling, I spoke with the same representative that told me the reason my order was a day late was because I didn't provide the recipient's phone number (duplicate phone number) due to the fact that they needed to call ahead to assure the contactless delivery placement of the items....which NEVER happened. No phone call was EVER made. It was an excuse to cover themselves when they were a day late. They refunded my money for the balloon and would not refund me for the strawberries, because they said they were inside the basket and had proof! The proof was the strawberries that come with it.....not the ones I paid extra for! UGH. After telling them I was going to leave them a Yelp review the manager called me back and told me that the exact same information the rep told me. He even told me they had proof of the phone call being placed for the 'contactless delivery' (why it was a day late)! That would be hard to prove since it NEVER happened, along with the balloon, and the EXTRA strawberries. Basically, go anywhere else. I love giving the most beautiful and delicious gifts and when reciprocated with gratitude and a big smile I know I've done good. In the past I've often bought bakery goods from shops that just don't seem to speak the volume and bring the beauty factor like what I've been able to achieve with Edible Arrangements. The bundle deal has made it so easy for me to celebrate any occasion. I realize their specialty is not just chocolate dipped fruits but rather an array of delicious sweets that range from dipped brownies, cheesecakes, fresh baked cupcakes, cookies, caramel turtles, peanut butter cups, and so much more! Today for Thanksgiving I keep getting the gushing of wows and admiration for the beauty of their dessert board collection! Usually people go for the savory before the sweet but the sweet was front and center attention and the fact it's mainly fruit made everyone feel like it's worth sinking their teeth into regardless of any diet restrictions. OMG!!! It takes a lot for me to sit and give a negative review, but here it is and very well deserved. I called early for a delivery to a relative on his birthday who is Vegan and one would safely say; hard to buy for. He had surgery the day before, so couldn't really go anywhere or do anything fun. Since I have used Edible arrangements many times through the years, I looked up the Folsom location. 10/28/2022 the ordering was great. He lives in a gated community but their gates often have open gates during the day?? I told her if you can't get in, please call me and I'd help him in. I didn't feel comfortable giving out someone else's gate code. I also gave them our daughters number. She missed their call, so much spam, and she didn't recognize the number and there was no text? They never called me either? I assumed it was delivered. At 4:50, I spoke with my daughter, she didn't see anything delivered. So I called the store. The gal said; "he didn't deliver, because he couldn't get in the gates." The gates that literally never stay closed because people are going in and out every few minutes. But that wasn't what made me upset? It was that they had already charged me for the full amount and she said; "I'll ask if he can try tomorrow or you can pick it up?" Then when I spoke firm and directly to the issues I'm seeing here, charging me, not calling me as I instructed and or notifying me, I spoke in a firm calm voice, not at all raising my voice or spewing any insults, just stating the chronological facts of my order and directions not being completed by them., she said if I don't show her respect, then she's going to hang up on me." Well.... My husband heard her response and knew what was next... How dare she, tell me to respect her, while she changes my instructions charged my credit card for a product and service not completed? Hello! What on earth???? Are you serious? She attempted delivery to the business after 5:30pm and demanded someone come and open the door. If I could give 10 stars I would!! I live in Los Angeles and placed an order online for a family member as a surprise. I placed my order at noon received a phone call confirming my order faster than an emailed confirmation from the website! Talk about customer service right! (That was very unexpected) the kind gentleman by the name of Darren mentioned they were overbooked and would try to accommodate me same day service if not next day. Another person called within 30 minutes by the name of Steve and confirmed that a delivery driver would be delivering in 1 hour. It literally took 2 hours from placing the order to delivery. I am VERY impressed with the prompt/caring and reliable customer service they gave me especially being that I am out of town. I highly recommend this location. First and definitely my last time ordering from this place, I'll first start off with all the workers that came out to the front were sweaty with dark baggy eyes. They definitely do not look okay, one of them kept saying they only had a few hours of sleep which is most likely not the case... the bundle I ordered was with a vase but then they said they ran out and ended up putting it in a bag. Flowers from bouquet were old and didn't have much life left. Strawberries seemed decent but from what the work environment looks, I wouldn't recommend. All that for $100! We came to this location to by a half dozen chocolate dipped strawberries. My husband went in and the clerk told him, due to valentine's day they are only selling boxes of 12. He came out to the car and then went right back in and told the clerk he would take a box of 12. The clerk then said she wouldn't sell him 12 because it was so close to closing time they wouldn't make any more. It was around 4:30 when we were there. If they were out of stock, then that should have Ben conveyed. It seemed like she just didn't want to be bothered to put a box together for us. Ally went above and beyond in helping to get an order delivered to my mom, who happens to work at the State Prison. The guards would not accept delivery or allow entry. Ally and her driver communicated very well with me and were extremely patient while I attempted to get them access. Ally was extremely polite each time I called and was eager to get this delivered. I ordered an arrangement for my sisters 70th birthday and these unprofessional people, called me when I was at work and couldn't answer my phone apparently left me a message telling me they needed my sisters phone or they couldn't deliver. The moral of this story is they cancelled my order did not deliver my gift. It is now 7:30 PM yes people work and they dont have access to their cell phones and when I call them you cant even leave a message, I will never do business with this store ever again I have ordered arrangements never had this issue of course I never ordered from them and never will thanks for ruining my sisters birthday. My personal experience with Edible Arrangements was extremely positive. like so many I was looking for a birthday gift that was a little bit different and Edible Arrangements. When I first called, the gentleman said he couldn't and order over the phone which concerned me a bit particularly in light of some of the previous reviews. However, I did order online and followed up the day of my expected delivery. The woman answering the phone was pleasant and efficient and gave me assurance that the recipient would be contacted prior to delivery. that was the case and I had an opportunity to sample the arrangement that received rave reviews from myself and the birthday girl and her friends. My husband is a pilot in the Air Force stationed in FL, and due to the travel ban on all DoD, this is the first Mother's Day I'll be spending away from my mother. I figured, I haven't seen her since Christmas, why not send something better than a card. I purchased a fruit basket for her to enjoy tomorrow, until I just got a call, which I'm assuming was the owner by how condescending his tone was, and could not believe how impertinent and nasty he was with me! I asked why I was not only able to place an order for 10/9 but received a confirmation that my order would be delivered on 10/9. He said he went ahead and sent the driver out. I said I spoke to the 800 number who said I had made cut off. Darren said corporate doesn't know when our cut off is they don't set policy. Cool as can be I said fine can I get the next size up delievered at no additional charge the next day 10/10 being that not only did corporate say it would be delivered today but my confirmation reciept does too. He said and I quote " Ummm no not at all not possible you get what you paid for." I replied "well I have 2 commitments of delievery and 1 is in writing so you have done wrong by a repeat customer." Darren the unprofessional and passive aggressive "manager" got even more condescending. He said "I'll give you your little $74.77 back." I said I want to speak to whoever is above you. He said the owner won't speak to you I run the store." I snapped back and said "then manage the error you have made and either deliever todayor deliever the next size up the next day." They need to pick up their phones when customers call in for orders. Cut off time was 12....(found that out after someone finally picked up the phone at 12:10pm) for same day delivery, but called multiple times having to hear the automated answering system and stayed on hold with out anyone ever picking up...so called again and again then finally, ending result, order cannot be placed because I'm about 10 minutes late playing with their phone.... she didn't bother to give any other options or feel the need assess the phone issues. I was not even the customer - someone was sending me an arrangement which I did not know I was even getting. I was excited that someone would send me something until I had contact the store and interact with Darren. I really wish I could give 0 stars. I am so upset with the services I received from this company. I have never been so mistreated. Darren is completely rude an unprofessional. He did not care about anything I had to say kept cutting me off saying "excuse let me finish, I will greatly appreciate it" in a very harsh tone. I received a missed call stating that I missed a delivery so I called the driver and she stated I should call the store to reschedule. I received a voicemail the next day from Darren stating I need call back to confirm my pick up order. so I called back and my goodness he was so rude saying that two attempts were made to home. Delivery is no longer an option when I asked why he said because I am the operating manager and finance something and that is the decision I made. He kept telling me I needed to be there by 5 and I asked why your store closes at 7 he said because I leave at 5 and you need to pick it up with me, which makes no sense.
