The food was very good. My wife and I had the skillet meals and they were very tasty. We asked for some extra teriyaki sauce because we kind of like that flavor in abundance. My adult children had various other meals and each of them were very happy with their picks. We were there on a day that they were shorthanded (only one server in the place) so the managers and other staff were helping out. Somehow they each managed to be very pleasant and accommodating despite the extra load they were carrying. Kudos to them all. read more

I've been here a few times and this weekend we went again and every single time we go we enjoy our time there. Food is always great! No loud noises and it's always clean. We enjoy going in for breakfast or brunch on days we just want to go out as a family and relax a bit. We also like to go after church service for dinner. Always a win for us. After a football game, and a cross-country race Grandma and I wanted a simple and quick dinner so we stopped at Perkins. We ordered a chees burger and a triple club sandwich which all came with fries (seasoned and unseasoned). My unseasoned fries gave a close run to McDonald's fries, the standard by which all are judged. The cheeseburger was great but like all restaurants, the hamburger bun gave up halfway through the meal. A shout out to Dillon our server very professional and friendly. read more

I came to Perkins with a friend/coworker and one of her friends a few days before Christmas, 2015. It was my first visit, even though I live pretty close... I took pictures of our food and decided to write a review. First off, let me just say this place is sitting on top of a hill, with BIG windows, overlooking part of the town of Bethlehem. It has such a nice view for eating. Aside from the food, that was one of my favorite parts. Service: The service was friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Offered great recommendations on some of the dishes. We didn't have to wait too long for our meal, and I was very impressed with the variety of foods they offer. They even have a bakery where you can purchase cakes, pies, etc. They also do breakfast ALL DAY, which I am such a big fan of, because I love having breakfast at night. "Elmo" was there the night we came in, so I decided to get a picture for fun, lol. Food: I ordered the "Build A Breakfast", choosing pancakes, hash browns, over-easy eggs and chicken sausage. Oh and raspberry iced tea. The pancakes were delicious, not too flat, not too mushy. They brought out a tray with several different syrups to choose from, berry, maple, and I think honey? Nice to have options right there on the table. The hash browns were good too, eggs were just right, not too runny but not over-cooked. The chicken sausage was pretty good too, it didn't taste like boring ordinary sausage, it had a unique flavor. I also liked the raspberry iced tea, I could taste the berry but it wasn't too sweet. My coworker ordered a hash brown plate with cheese, bacon and sour cream. Also a grilled chicken club sandwich with fries and ranch dip. Her friend had a salad with a BLT. My coworker let me try a bite of the hash browns, they were sooooo good! Loved the flavor and they were lightly crips on the outside with a soft inside. I tried a small bite of her chicken club and a French fry--the chicken club is pretty good, it has bacon and all inside. You can really taste it. Fries are just right, like the tots, crispy outside, soft inside. I love their ranch, its that rich, creamy kind. I commented to the manager that their ranch tastes homemade... He said their ranch IS in fact made in-house, its not pre-bottled. I always like to hear that. I did not try any of the BLT or the salad, but they look pretty good too. Just wanted to give a shout out about this place, I WILL be coming back! Very enjoyable experience, I wish I knew about this place sooner. I recommend it to anyone looking for a good family night out, or just some nice comfort food. read more

I ordered the family breakfast meal this past Sunday online. When I arrived the parking lot was empty and there was only one family eating inside. Felt awful because this place was always packed on weekends. All the food was ready on time. The eggs, bacon, pancakes, and hash browns all tasted fresh and were prepared perfect. The staff was very nice that greeted me and I felt terrible for how empty the place was. I highly recommend take out from this Perkins. The food itself is very pedestrian and better can be found just about anywhere for a comparable price, particularly the normally greasy burgers. We go there for one reason only: kids eat free on Tuesday and Thursday. And they either have face painting or a character on Thursday nights. Omg! Seriously usually I go to a Perkins and I'm like ya it was good but this! This was amazing I had pasta with fresh shrimp and mushrooms garlic crusted edges fresh tomatoes sooo fresh and just popping great flavors. My friends had pasta with chicken and broccoli, broccoli was cooked perfectly as well as chicken. My son had pancakes with applwood Bacon and tator tots. The tator tots were not greasy at all they were crispy and pancakes were so fluffy and fresh! Im so satisfied I would like to also say that our waiter Josh was just the greatest very attentive he had great suggestions for what meal or what to have with what, very kind. They have no signs whatsoever that tell their customers that if you have a shellfish allergy you are SOL. We came in and waited 20 minutes to be seated. Ordered drinks and made sure the waitress was aware of a shellfish allergy on the menu. The manager came by to tell us there is no guarantee that shellfish won't come into contact with any of the food on the menu. We had to leave and they charged us $8 for 3 drinks - complete waste of our time. I wouldn't trust a kitchen that all of the food is considered cross contaminated either. read more

The Perkins located on Nazareth Pike (Route 191) right off of Route 22 in Bethlehem is one of the best run Perkins locations I've ever eaten at. There is a Manager who basically lives there and he is extremely friendly and courteous, especially with children. Even when the place is packed, which is typical on weekends, he always has a smile on his face. The food is good, the prices are excellent and the staff is extremely courteous. Sometimes they seem a bit flustered because people show up in droves, i.e. after Church, etc. Tuesday nights is kids night and they have character's such as Shrek, Scooby Doo, Backyardigans, etc. to make it a great experience for the kids. I recommend this place if you want a hearty breakfast. Try the Granny Omelet, the Turkey Club or their hotcakes. read more

The Perkins located on Nazareth Pike in Bethlehem is one of the best run Perkins locations I've ever been too. His name escapes me right now, but there is a Manager or Shift Supervisor who is almost always there when we go and he is extremely friendly and courteous. You can tell he enjoys his job and he has the staff well prepared. The food is always good, and the service is always top notch. I love their chicken noodle soup as an appetizer, and either the Triple Decker Club sandwich or the Country Club Melt is my favorite sandwich. Even if we are closer to another Perkins location, we'll always drive the extra few miles to go to the one located on Nazareth Pike up near the Giant, Walmart, and Home Depot in Bethlehem. read more

I normally like this place but today if anything goes could go wrong it surely did. Coffee cup came out with the last customers lipstick on it. Meal came out cold and had to send it back to be heated for it to be edible. Management was great though and said the issues would be addressed. Went on a Sunday morning, it was super busy, but we got a seat quick... The wait staff was very accommodating, but just a tad pushy. Fruit juice was straight sugar water, which I figured would be the case, but was still a bummer... My omelet was tasty, the breakfast potatoes were exactly as I expected (deep fried salt rockets) and the pancakes were average. The best part of the whole meal was the toast... They have GREAT toast... All in all it was an alright breakfast, but I wouldn't go back mainly because there are SO many places to go around here. As a side note...
