This practice has potential, but it is very disorganized…read more We went for an initial exam in early October. The "hygiene bay" where they do cleanings is a large communal room with several patients being seen (or waiting) at once. The doctor comes in and explains the treatment plan (if any) in full view/ ear shot of other parents or patients that may be in the room. *Keep your original treatment plan quote and bring it to the appointments.* They tried to charge me $275 after one visit, until I showed them they had clearly quoted me $157. They adjusted it, but if I hadn't said anything I would have ended up overpaying by over $100. Be aware that if you see different dentists within the practice, they may try to change your original treatment plan. My son was supposed to receive fillings based on his original treatment plan, but then we were put with a different dentist who wanted to crown the teeth instead, based on her own preferences. We wound up having to refuse and reschedule. You can request to see the same dentist throughout if dental work is needed, but also be aware that this may lengthen the wait time between visits. Do not allow them to go ahead and put your child on laughing gas if there is a significant wait. On what turned out to be our last visit to this practice, the dentist was very busy and my son stayed on laughing gas for nearly 40 minutes before they even started his procedure. As a result, the numbing jelly meant to reduce the pain of the injections had worn away. My son, who had never had previous issues with the injections, felt the full force and began sobbing. No work was able to be done that day due to his emotional state, and because he had been on the gas for an extended period of time waiting for the dentist, he vomited afterward. We chose to go elsewhere, and he went on to have a great experience at a different practice. The staff was mostly kind and accommodating, that was not really the issue. The issue was that this practice is so disorganized, you could wind up with your treatment plan needlessly altered, being overcharged, or waiting so long on the dentist that your child winds up sobbing and in pain. If you choose this practice, be prepared to advocate for your child. Ask for the same dentist throughout. Know what they quoted you. Verify before you go which doctor you will see and what each visit will entail. We chose to go elsewhere. Proceed, if you choose, with caution.

Had xrays and put in a chair and 35 minutes later, still not seen. I went to front and said waiting over 30 minutes is unacceptable and they just stared at me. If you want someone who treats you well, cares about customers, keeps you informed - DO NOT GO HERE. When asked to speak to a manager, was told she would call me back later.

After the examination, the dentist proceeded to tell me that dentures were the best way to go. He did an impression with the existing teeth still in. In two or three weeks the dentures were made and I was called in to get my teeth extracted. The dentist pulled the teeth that needed extracting (actually pulled more than were there ... but that's another topic), placed the dentures into my mouth. I went home and proceeded to 'heal.' The dentures fit like crap ... especially the lower, though the uppers were okay. I went in a few times for 'adjustments.' Then sometime later went in for a "realignment" which was a complete joke. The stuff made the dentures so thick, especially the bottom ones, they wouldn't stay in for 5 minutes even with adhesive; without adhesive, they wouldn't stay in for two seconds. Sooooo ... after $4,000 for the extractions, around $1,800 for the dentures, another $450 for realignment ... I got teeth that are literally worthless. Of course, when I asked for at least a partial refund, I got "gaslit" saying I should have kept coming in to get them to work on them. Naturally paying out more $$$. After over $6,000 paid out, I didn't feel like forking out more knowing the joke was on me. Anyway, if you need a tooth pulled or a cleaning, maybe you can get it done there. But if you want dentures you can actually use, I strongly urge you to go somewhere else. This is a condensed version of the story, but I didn't want to make this too long. This review is the truth of the matter.

I got the money together and went back asking to take care of things in a specific order (based on my funds and another treatment plan). But instead, Holly Schmitt, the office manager, refused all treatment, refused a refund for pre-paid services they did NOT perform and the cops were called on me while I was in my vehicle. Even the officer was confused and said I had every right to be in a public parking lot. Holly also lied multiple times about what the dentist said, telling me, "Doctor's orders and priority." She wasn't happy when I said that's not what the doctor told me. Dr. said, "It's your money, it's your mouth, we can do what you want." The cherry on top, I finally found and sent an email to 'corporate'. Few days later, Holly sent me a "Release of all Claims" form with a built in non-disclosure/confidentiality agreement. Asking me to give up my rights in order to receive a refund on services you didn't provide, is shady at best. Thank god this is not normal and the other dental offices I've been to have even asked; why weren't you allowed to make decisions for yourself, who are these people, what office is this, and are telling all their colleagues. I've had 3 appointments in 3 weeks with a different doctor, in the exact order I wanted treatment done with 0 complications. Save yourself the trouble, and go somewhere else!

Since that procedure, I have experienced ongoing problems because the dentures do not fit properly. They are uncomfortable, unstable, and make it extremely difficult for me to eat and live comfortably. I have repeatedly raised these concerns, yet I am now being told that the problem is my fault and that no correction will be made. I strongly disagree. I paid a significant amount of money for professional dental services, and I expect the work to be done correctly. Properly fitting dentures are not optional -- they are essential to my health and quality of life. As an older patient, this experience has been both physically and financially burdensome. I believe I deserve accountability and a reasonable effort to correct this issue. I am formally requesting that this matter be reviewed and resolved promptly. I am simply asking for properly fitted dentures and fair treatment
