This boutique is amazing - beautiful and well made clothing, and the nicest employees and owner. I stepped into the store briefly during a trip to Sonoma with my friends, and was met with big smiles and such a friendly welcome. I loved this dark green coat, but live on the east coast and knew it would be difficult to carry it back with me. The owner offered to ship it, and it arrived within the week with the nicest thank you letter! Talk about above and beyond. There was also no sales tax when shipping so it was effectively the same cost as if I had purchased in store. Please support this business!! This and The Loop right next store are exactly what you imagine of a boutique in the Napa area. Overpriced, only friendly to a certain type of clientele, making assumptions about people as soon as they walk in. To be fair so did I. I have been to so many of these places but I hold out for the 1 in 100 that is inclusive and friendly and service oriented. Cute clothes, extremely rude associate. Decent customer service is not hard. I asked for help with a shirt, was given none and nasty looks and huffs and puffs. I almost did not buy based on the service but decided to purchase. At the point of sale the girl put the items in the bag, turned her back to me and walked away. I was confused if my transaction was complete, where my items were and it felt like some sort of snub to me and I have no idea why. read more

Fell in love with this shop from their Instagram page and a pair of shoes that they posted about - Band of Gypsies® Torrey Vegan Leather Snake Double Strap Sandals. The minute I saw the sandals, I immediately sent them a note and received a reply right away that they not only had them in my size but they could hold them for me. I was leaving out of town so they went the extra mile and offered to have them shipped to me so that they would be waiting for me when I got home. When I returned home, not only were the beautiful sandals waiting for me but a beautiful handwritten card was included in the package to thank me for my business and that they hope I will enjoy my sandals. I just wanted to drink wine, lots of wine. The store is very organized and has an amazing selection! We met the shop owner and she was very helpful with my gf. Cute little boutique with a smallish to medium sized range and variety of stuff. I wasn't too impressed with their sizing and prices, e.g. for a rayon midi-maxi dress, with a drawstring neckline, it was almost $250, which is not at all exorbitant if the cloth, styling, detailing, etc. had warranted it, but it was evident from the workmanship that it wouldn't help up too well. Not only that, if I buy a dress for that amount, if I don't get detailing or something else that catches my eye, i want the skirt part to be lined. This dress would've had to be worn with a slip, half or full. Ugghh. I'm so over that because these days, in my older age, lol, I need to simplify my life, not complicate it. They had other dresses in cotton I loved for its simplicity and color, ut because it was 100% cotton, it would surely have shrunk, so again, it was a no-go. The shop is tiny, and doesn't allow for a bigger range of wares. Their jewelry is strictly fashion, and barely that--vermeil or sterling. It's a pleasant place to browse and try your luck, and maybe it's your day to score something. My precious, amazing husband bought me a dress from this store after I added them to Instagram. We purposely drove here once before and loved the owner, she was very welcoming and kind, so he went back for my Birthday gift. Our lives are extremely busy as we are both in the healthcare field and work odd hours. We were finally able to construct a date day in Sonoma for August, to go back and exchange the dress he got for me since it was way too big. When we walked in the store the girl who happened to be the manager avoided us completely. Mind you, there was no one else in the store besides us. My husband had to follow her and say, "hi, we are actually here to see about exchanging a dress." Not a refund...an exchange. She asked for the receipt and because he's organized he still had it. JENNIFER, the manager looked at it and said, "this is past the 14 days and there's nothing I can do about it now. You have had plenty of time to make other arrangements, but since that didn't happen, I cannot do anything for you." WOW! There's some QUALITY customer service for you right there folks. It wasn't like she said, "oh no!! You're past the 14 day Mark, but we VALUE our customers!!! Let me see what I can do to help you." Instead, she was snarky about it and unwilling to offer any help. My husband could have shopped ANYWHERE, anywhere! Especially since these little shops are a dime a dozen, but I sent him there and now feel awful! I asked her if I could speak with a manager to which she replied rudely, "I am the manager." Perfect. I then asked if the owner was available? She said, "no." SO WE LEFT. I will NEVER shop Here again BECAUSE of this ridiculous woman. If she were kind and said, "I'm so sorry ma'am, this is our policy, but let me see how else I can help you guys," we wouldn't be yelping this unprofessional and unacceptable interaction. What is with establishments today??! Hiring less than par staff who don't know how to interact with their clients? Well, because of this, they will lose my business and all my friends business. read more

This store is quite an experience. From the gorgeous displays of clothing to the beautiful white washed racks and shelves. It's often difficult to find brands like Free People, Citizens of Humanity and Fresh Laundry outside of LA, but Erica does such a fabulous job at bringing in only the best lines to her store. I fell in love with so many items during my first visit; however I had to settle on only one. I only get up north once a year, but this store will be on the agenda each time. If you're in Sonoma, this is a definite MUST GO spot. You won't regret it! read more

My 22 year-old daughter and I found this store on Yelp when visiting the area. We specifically came here because they carry several of the brands of jeans my daughter wears and are difficult to find. Perle's isn't just a clothing store...it's a place that is filled with kindness and love. Upon entering, we were greeted by 2 delightful young ladies who exuded warmth and friendliness. As my daughter and I wandered through the small store, we were shocked and delighted with the wide variety and array of beautiful one-of-a-kind clothing, basic tops and those hard-to-find jeans. The clothing ranged from reasonably priced to that of Nordstrom and Bloomingdales. There were also custom made items like leather belts. My daughter ended up buying some tops, a beautiful scarf and a sweater. But, what REALLY sets this delightful store apart from others is the customer service. It turns out one of the ladies who greeted us was the owner, Erica. What an ABSOLUTELY beautiful woman, both inside and out. She was engaging, sweet and never pushy. Even if my daughter hadn't found anything, we would come back just to "hang out" with the owner. Though we don't live in the area, we will be making the hour and a half drive just to shop here. read more

I purchased a pair of earrings from Perle about six weeks ago. Unfortunately, the rose gold finish began to oxidize after one wear and the earrings turned silver. I live in San Francisco and did not have an opportunity to bring them back sooner. I did not have the receipt when I went into the store a couple of days ago to obtain either a refund or exchange, but it's evident that the earrings were made by a local designer whom they carry almost exclusively. Since I didn't have the receipt, an exchange would have been more than sufficient. Unfortunately, all the young woman at the counter was willing to do was "clean" the earrings with a cloth, which of course did nothing, and take my name, number, and a pic of the oxidized earrings to share with the designer. She was also emphatic that this sort of thing has NEVER happened with any of the designer's other jewelry. That's great and all, but I appear to be the unlucky one stuck with some poor quality earrings. Sweet! As much as I love supporting small business, I'm not sure I'll be returning. I will stick to buying my gold vermeil jewelry from quality designers like Gorjana. read more

I am loving this new store! So glad to have another great boutique in town- every time I stop by they have a ton of new merchandise, and I never leave empty handed! Great price points and lots of pretty summer dresses and blouses right now. But the best part is the owner and the entire staff. I wandered into this adorable boutique after I had lunch at the Sunflower Caffe with my family. I love everything in the store!! They have a lot of free people, sanctuary, denim brands such as j brand and level 99. I've worked in retail before and I love all of the designers that they carry. They also had some beautiful jewelry from a designer in Ojai that plants trees in Ethiopia when you purchase their pieces. The sales associates were very friendly and knowledgable about their products, but unfortunetely I didn't have much time in the store because I had to get to an appointment.
