Brought my 2020 Kia Sportage that is a lemon to see if they can fix my engine under warranty. Nope they will not fix my engine. They wanted to charge me 500.00 to just take apart the engine and another 11,000 to replace the engine. They are crooked!!!!!! I fucking hate KIA and hope they go outta business with there bullshit warranty they like to get you when you buy there cars. My car only has 52,000 miles. I barely drove the car and they are blaming me for there recall that they have on there cars. I hope someone reads this and takes my experience and goes to Honda or Toyota. I got a great deal on a late-model used Kia vehicle, in excellent condition! But it wasn't from Perris Valley Kia. My experience at Perris Valley Kia was awful. I found that salespeople to be dishonest (but don't take my word for it, look at the other reviews on this page). I showed up and when I realized that they had been dishonest over the phone, I pointed out some of the lies they had told me. I left without buying a vehicle, and I think you should do the same (or better, don't go to this lot in the first place). I recommend shopping at Enterprise Car Sales instead; they pleasant and friendly, honest, and have great no-haggle prices! read more

These are the only people who worked on my car & it continues to break down. I bought an overpriced brand new battery in March & also did the 60,000 mile service (which extends my warranty )from then a month ago & my car broke down. When I call them to let them know they told me to call a tow truck, which I did & he lets me know that my warranty isn't updated yet so he can't tow my car. So I paid them to service my car which they didn't do correctly because it broke down, & also paid to get my warranty extended which they also didn't do. Do not bring your car here ever. They just keep you on the phone & keep transferring you because no one know how to do their job here. read more

Car brought in under warranty. Had to get an engine repair. Had to wait 5 weeks for car parts to come in. Picked up car, car doesn't accelerate past 60 mph. I bring car back on a Thursday evening so they can work on car first thing Friday morning. It's 2:45 pm and car is just getting looked at. Wanted to bring car in the Monday that just past and was told I couldn't because no mechanics showed up to work. I should have ran then. I asked to see a manager and was told he wasn't available. No supervisor was available as well. I've owned a couple of Kia's and I have never gone to a dealer with such poor service. Run, don't come here! read more

Part 2 of my review THE COURSE OF ONE WEEK TURNED INTO 4 MONTHS THAT THEY KEPT MY CAR WITHOUT PROVIDING ME A COURTESY VEHICLE !!!! Throughout the course of the six months I can count how many times and emails the manager of Kia Paris Valley communicated with me regarding the status of my vehicle!! I was never even offered a courtesy call by the manager Eddie to check up on the status of my car if I did not reach out to them they did not care nor work on the car there was a period of time where my car was not worked on for about two weeks! SO MUCH FOR THEM CARING ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! They don't care about anybody that is not buying a car and making them profit or commission they will put your car to the side and focus on the next customer not on keeping their customer satisfied and fixing their mistakes and problems with their vehicles but I bet if I showed up to purchase a new car they would all fight over who would get the sale!!!! When my car was apparently ready I went into the dealership to pick up my vehicle and as soon as I got into my vehicle and started driving out of their parking space My steering wheel was shaking so much that it felt like somebody forgot to bolt it back on and guess what I was correct!!! I immediately cut off the car walked inside to speak to the manager to come outside and check the car that he just personally handed over the keys to myself to drive off of his lot And when he got inside and saw how much the steering wheel was shaking he turned red of embarrassment knowing that they are full of it saying that they care about customers and they satisfy the customers needs he could not tell me anything to prove me otherwise and just like that they pull the car back into the mechanic shop and it took an additional 6 hours to fix the stupid mistake that they did not check before giving me my vehicle which could've cost myself an accident and even my life!!! The final day when I went into the dealership to pick up my vehicle I was already super stressed mad and angry of all of the things that they made me go through literally hell & back within those six months !!! Upon asking the manager secretary Carlos who sits in the entrance of the building about providing me with the keys to my car and the paperwork showing and proving that they actually worked on my car and that is finalized and ready to go the secretary started to act very rude and annoyed and was even screaming at me in front of customers, Quickly all the customers in the lobby turn their attention to the angry secretary who has no right to raise his voice at me over their carelessness And Unprofessionalism , what type of business treats their customers like that???? If you do not believe me look them up on the BBB they are not even credited by the BBB when I brought this up to the manager he just shrugged it off and said that the BBB does not justify a business customer service that it provides to its clients, LOL, this is the sole purpose of the BBB!!!! Anyways I got my car back and it seems to be working fine but I received A call from Kia consumer affairs stating that there is a new additional recall for my vehicle, at this point I am not going to take my vehicle back to Kia Perris Valley for them to fix this new recall . The service department really put me in a bad situation.. My car has been there since Last Thursday.. Nobody calls me to update me I have to follow-up.. I asked the service manager for a loaner so I could get to work and pick up my kid from school.. He said they don't give out loaners until they know who is responsible for the charges.. First of all they did give me a good price for the car. But after negotiating price and interest rate with salesman. The finance person changed price and interest rate.Should have been tax and license only. But things were added to the car that I didn't ask for. I should've paid more attention to what I was signing. Extra $1400 . Went back to Finance office door was locked and she was not around and still has not return my calls.I tried to call back call five different people at Kia including the manager and no call back. This dealership is all false advertising. I did a application online and some women calls me right away and says I have been pre-approved and to go down there and pick out a car. I told her to please make sure I will not have a problem getting a car she said "No Problem". So I pay someone to watch my kids cause my wife is at work and I drive down. So I call her 3xs and I cant get a hold of here. So I get there and I ask for her and I see her driving down on a golf cart with the finance mgr. I told her hey I been trying to get ahold of you. The salesperson Linda did a very good job making us feel comfortable buying from this dealership and secured the sale almost as soon as we showed up, which was then almost immediately lost upon entering the building to finalize and sign paperwork by the older gentleman running up with what was either an overtly good cop/bad cop routine or him overstepping quite heavy-handedly and changing the overall mood of the sale from "let's sit down and sign some papers so you can drive this car home" to "they're trying to take advantage of you". This was made somewhat worse by your finance department rushing through what could be considered crucial details concerning what was added to the final cost and why. Him trying to dismiss any concerns we had by stating I didn't understand, that he had informed us there would be an increase earlier, and that the numbers are correct instead of simply listening to me asking him how the price he showed us had changed and been more up front about what was added to the price, why he thought it was necessary based on previous sales or customer feedback related to maintenance, and took the time to slow everything down initially I likely would have wanted the warranties and whatever extra he was adding to "protect my investment" had I been talked into seeing a need for them. Instead we immediately took two opposing sides and I ended up doing my best to cut whatever extra I could from the contract to lower the price even further just in case. Having said all that, he actually did an amazing job at meeting our expectations for our monthly payments, our rate, and overall cost once everything was settled and for me that overshadows the majority of my negative feelings towards the process at this dealership. read more

Honda Element 2003 - $4500: I really would love to give them 3-4 stars, but unfortunately they made a mistake in selling me a car that wasn't safe to drive. After a week of driving off the lot, they alerted me that the car needed to do a smog inspection. I asked if I could do the smog check myself since about 1.5 hours away. They said yes, but then I got an ALARMING text message that I needed to get it back to them for a full safety inspection. The general manager admitted they should've never sold me the car, I wanted it in paper - but they never gave it to me... this is coming from their general manager Joe. (I understand - they need to save their business from any lawsuit.. ie if I got into a car accident after driving it off the lot.) I was told by Carlos my car would be the first one to be checked out Tuesday morning and he would call me to see what was going on with the car.. of course that was a lie. My husband had to call and find out. He decided to call me after my husband spoke to him. When I picked up the cat I didn't notice the fin to my antenna was missing until later on in the evening. This place has the rudest, most unhelpful people I have ever encountered. I went into the dealership to test drive an Optima. First of all, the sales people looked at me & my friend like we were bugging them! After telling them my purpose, they said, rather dryly, "Someone will be with you shortly." This turns into 15 minutes later! This dealership is the size of a damn Denny's and it took 15 minutes for a salesperson to come help us. After he came, he showed us an Optima EX and asked if I would like to test drive it. I laughed & said that was my whole purpose in being here and he just glared at me. After taking my license and going to get the keys for the car, me & my friend waited outside in the heat for 5 minutes before the salesperson came back out. During the test drive, I was asking him questions about the car and he was just giving one-word responses. He acted like we were inconveniencing him! After we got back, I said thank you for your time and asked for a card. Without saying a word, he gave me his business card, and walked off! Just an awful experience! read more

OVERALL If you don't mind some racism and hard sell techniques then you might be able to get a good deal here. THE GOOD The dealership had several different rebate programs that you might qualify for. I only qualified for one which was a competitor conquest rebate. They also had recent college graduate rebates, customer loyalty (you bought a car there before) rebates and military rebates. They also had a program where you got free oil changes for 2 years. The only other good thing I can think of is that they sell Kia which seems to have a lot going for it right now. THE BAD When I first met the salesman he was pretty nice. His name was Robert if I remember correctly. We chatted about what I was looking for and he was knowledgeable about the cars specs and features. I took a 2013 Kia Optima for a test drive and really liked it. I had been looking for a new car for a couple weeks already and had taken lots of test drives. After driving the Optima and learning about some of the programs the dealership offered like free oil changes, I was really excited. I thought I'd found my next car! So in order to find out how much exactly the car costs, the dealership needed my license and car keys (so they could test drive it for trade in value). I gave them both and filled out all the paperwork so they could run credit checks and do whatever else it is they do. While we're are waiting for the paperwork to process Robert and I are chatting back and we're joined by the assistant manager, John. When these two find out I just moved here from Wisconsin they begin to inform me of how things work in southern California. They start telling me how I'd be dumb not to buy their lo-jack service since we live next to a third world country. The whole conversation was a mix of RACIST remarks and constant UPSELL techniques. The paperwork finishes and we go in to discuss the numbers. I'm so happy at this point to get out a very uncomfortable conversation with these two. But little did I know it was going to get worse. John lays out the contract and sticks a pen in my hand and starts pointing to where to sign. I laugh it off and tell him I'd like to actually read it first. I also remind him for the 5-6 time that I just want to know the price so I can sleep on it. As I look over the contract I notice that the price is about $7000 more than the sticker price. I ask John about this and he talks for several minutes without actually saying anything. The message was basically "we added in some things to help you because we're nice and want to help you" and "things cost more in California, if you go anywhere else it will be even worse". I'm pretty frustrated at this point so I tell them that I want to think it over for a night. I ask for stuff back. Robert leaves to go get them while John continues to hard sell me. I politely say no in every imaginable way I can think of. To his credit, he will not give up. 10 minutes later Robert comes back but he DOESN"T have my KEYS or LICENSE. This process goes on for another 10 minutes. I'm trying to remain nice for some reason but having a really hard time doing it. I finally get my keys and license back, grab the paperwork and try to leave. They follow me out to my car, still trying to hard sell me and finally when it's clear I'm going to leave he says he wants the paperwork back. He's worried that I'll take it some where else or something. Of the 12 or so dealerships I went to this one was by far the worse experience I had. I bought a Kia Soul for my wife 5 weeks ago. Based on the contract it says the payment is due the 10th of every month. Well I never received anything in the mail with an account number or anyway to make a payment. I called Kia Finance and they tell me my loan has not funded and there must be something wrong with the paperwork and I need to call the dealership. I've been calling all day and leaving messages and no one will return my calls. The receptionist keeps telling me there in meetings. Two weeks after buying this vehicle I decided I wanted to trade in my truck and buy myself a new Kia Optima. I went back to Perris Valley Kia and test drove an Optima and decided this was the car I wanted to purchase. The only problem was they didn't have the color I wanted on their lot. I did a search and found the color I wanted at DCH Kia Temecula. The saleman said it would be know problem to get the car. As it turns out DCH Temecula does not deal with Perris Valley Kia and they could not get the car. At that point they started trying to talk me into buying the one on their lot. I could not make a $27,000 purchase for a car that was the wrong color. The sales manager at that point tells me to "GET OVER IT". What dumbass in sales tells you to get over it? I'm in sales and I couldn't imagine if I told my customer to get over it. Needless to say at that point I drove to DCH Temecula Kia and bought the car I wanted with right color. That loan has already funded and been set up on my on-line bill pay. Thanks DCH Temecula Kia. At this point I'm left to call Consumer Affairs and let them handle the situation. First of all I would like to say that I HATE, absolutely, HATE purchasing or leasing new cars. Between the hours upon hours of "paper games" and hard selling techniques, car shopping can be the most terrible buying experience of your life. Let me tell you that this is the place to go to avoid all of that and get the best deal possible. Since I know a lot of people on the internet hate reading anything that isn't summarized, I will bullet point it for you guys. 1. Was shopping for the new 2014 Kia Forte EX with Premium (came out a month ago), and so I called around to various internet departments and visited many dealerships. 2. Called Joseph Agee the Internet Manager and was immediately happily greeted and he came to a great agreement with me over the phone. Most other internet departments will not help with leases or will give you a price that may or may not match the car that you want. 3. Since we all are familiar with the crap sell tactics the dealerships try to pull on you when you walk in I tried to go visit other dealerships in hopes of bringing a price on the table to Perris. 4. Went to All-Star Kia (Horrible Review to be Written shortly) and asked if we could try to work out a deal with contingency of a credit score of at least 680. (Deals begin at 680 and I knew my credit score was well above 680, I just did not want my credit run at every dealership I visited). They said no and could only work out a deal after running my credit so I told them I would leave and think about it and come back the next day. 5. Went to Perris just to see what they could do after calling and asking if they could work out a deal with a tentative credit score. They said they could and when I got there I met Joseph, but he referred me to Onan the other Internet Manager. Onan showed me the car took me for a drive and I loved it. 6. I sat down with him to speak price and he just asked what I think my credit score was, what I wanted to put down etc. After approximately (I kid you not) 3 minutes he came back with the exact lease plan that he could give me with my 680 credit score which I told him was an undershoot. I told him great and that I would come back the next day after shopping around. 7. Went back to All-Star and brought my price that I wanted and they said that they could not do that price and essentially added $5000 dollars to the MSRP of the car bringing my payments up $100 dollars per month (a lot for a 23k car). After walking out they said they could match the price, but I was so insulted by their business practices that I left and went with Perris. 8. Went back to Perris they sat me down again with the price and said look we basically aren't going to do the price they offered me before (pissed me the hell off) and instead dropped the price another few hundred dollars. Signed the papers, in and out in about 1 hour. Seriously if you want to purchase a car go with Onan and Joseph the internet managers. They have a decent sized lot and made this experience so pain free that I may have to stick with Kia Lol. read more

(0 STARS) I made appointment a week ahead of time for 2 recalls. I have an early appointment to drop it off 8 am. I asked what time do they close so I know when to pick my car up. The girl informed me that they might not get to it today so they get to it tomorrow. WTF.I said my appointment is for Tuesday not Wednesday. ( I asked for a loaner since its over night, they don't do loaner cars. Well your not keeping my car) She told me that Tuesday they only have 2 tech on staff and there are more cars ahead of me from yesterday. I asked why did they make an appointment for me on Tuesday if knowing that they only have 2 tech on staff?. Her reply Cause the computer lets us make the appointment, so I asked "IF you service department knows that your understaffed on Tuesdays, Don't make the appointments. Her responses again is to blames the computer. So not only the service department wasted my time and gas for driving there, they also wasted my husband time and gas. Then she continues to tell me that they have more tech on staff on Thursdays and Fridays.but I have an appointment today which is Tuesday. I ask for the manager and she said that he not here, so convenient right. I also mention this is the reason that their reviews are so bad online. I was pissed and I left. about 10 minutes later she call (I'm on the freeway by then) to let me know that the service manager (he happen to show up when I left) told her about the recall about the oil drip pan and computer software update and she didn't know any factors of the recall so I can come back and drop my car off. I told her that being in the KIA service department she should know about the KIA recalls and what is the procedure is for it. They need to all have classed in customer service.
