Mo helped us get into our new Kia Soul. He is very professional and polite. The first day we were here and we looked at a few vehicles, but finally decided on the Soul. My hubby's credit isn't on the great side, and sadly our current vehicle was negative in value. We went to a few other dealers and felt we were getting low balled on our trade in value. Greetings, I decided to post my experience with this Kia dealership online because I really want to help fellow Kia owners and warn them of this place. My experience started with a notice I received in the mail from Kia notifying me that I need to take my 2013 Kia Optima in to check the engine. It was a Monday and I took it here because the Perris Kia dealership is 2 minutes from my home. The service person that assisted me explained that the car would undergo test to see if there is any problems with the engine. If my optima failed the test it would then be sent in to have the engine replaced but if it passed the test then I would get a free oil change. According to the service rep it passed and I was able to get the free oil change, yay right? At this point I was satisfied with the service and I proceeded to ask the service rep if there was anything else I should do for my car and he pointed out that I needed to change the transmission oil and so I asked about pricing and he quoted me. I went home that day and I wanted to price match other dealerships so I called the Kia service in Temecula and they quoted me a far less price for the service the Perris Kia rep suggested I do. So three days later I drove down from Perris to Temecula and had the service done. I waited a couple of hours for the transmission oil to be changed and afterwards the service rep suggested other things I can have serviced on my car and so I decided to go ahead and get them done. Finally after 4 hours of waiting the service rep walked in and said that all the services were complete and the mechanic test drove it and while test driving the engine stalled and broke down. The service rep at Temecula said "I'm not sure who did this test for the recall but it should not have passed" he also said "Good thing it happened it here and not on you out on the road." The service rep explained that my car would have to get the engine replaced and it would be 3-4 weeks and he offered me a rental for the time my car's engine was being replaced. This was 3 1/2 weeks ago and I received my car today. I just wanted to post my experience here so that anyone who is going to the Perris Kia dealership knows what I went through. It is my opinion that the service rep there who's name starts with an "E" is not reliable or trustworthy. I understand that there will be businesses that will upsell services but the thought of driving my car on the freeway and having it stall is unsettling to me. This is just my experience and I will never take my car here, Ill drive the extra 20 minutes to deal with service reps who are honest and have integrity. read more

Sometimes it takes a while for service or repair, but the prices are very competitive. I haven't felt ripped off in any way since I have been going to this location for 2 years. Typically they are always nice, and try to keep their customers happy. On occasion it's hard to get hold of them on the phone, but that's pretty common. I purchase a Kia Forte in May of last year 2019, and unfo rtunately it was total in November 2019. The bull crap I went through dealing with their finance department and corporate was horrible. I just now received my payment overage, June 6,2020. My insurance and the GAP company handle their business within a matter of two weeks of the incident. The dealership was terrible, during the process they went through three financial personnel, each time I had to start the process over. They did not return phone calls or followed up when they promise. I had to threatened them with getting a lawyer involved, and final they sent the remaining funds to Kia Corporate, several months later. Dealing with Kia Corporate is another nightmare. I had the worst experience here. AVOID THIS PLACE. DRIVE ELSEWHERE. I saw they had a promotion on the Kia Optima online, so I called to get more details about the vehicle. I spoke to "Mo" (Muhammad Salem) on the phone, and he said he would be able to get me a great deal around my price range with the Optima being on sale, plus rebates and my family loyalty discount due to my family purchasing cars here in the past. (Years ago) I told him I am driving here from LA, so I want to make sure he's going to give me what he said he was and he confirmed that he would. When I arrived, he didn't help me. I had a bad impression about him the moment I saw him, He had another sales person help me named Arturo. Arturo was a nice guy, showed me everything about the car and took me for a test drive. Mo was not a nice guy at all. He spoke to Arturo with disrespect and pushed him around many times. When it came down to speak about purchasing, Mo continued to be rude and aggressive with not only my family and I, but with Arturo as well. He sat us at a table and walked away elsewhere quickly, pushed a portable cubicle that ended up hitting my mother, and when he came back to negotiate he told me he could not give me the deal he told me he would on the phone. (Knowing I drove there from Los Angeles) I was asking questions about finance options, the vehicle, and warranty it comes with as I was signing a paper to allow his management to run my credit, and he pulled the paper away as I was signing it and shouted some nonsense, walked away and came back with his manager I believe Justin was his name not even a minute later and said "We can't give you the car in the price range you're asking for." Salesman was very nice. Went there to get 2018 Sedona that was online. It was buried by 5 or 6 cars. The battery was dead. Wanted to test drive but the manager kept pushing for 2019 Sedona that was $14000 more and was not what we wanted. When we sat down with him he started writing up the paperwork for the 2019. We told him we wanted the 2018 and it had everything we wanted. He jumped up and had to go check it himself, like we were lying. We just got our paperwork back and walked out. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My car has had the same problem since I bought it brand new. This dealership wouldn't take the time to try to figure out the problem and kept telling me all I needed was a new battery ever single time my car had to be towed to the dealership. I had to file a case with Kia corporation to get this dealership to take my car apart and actually try to solve the issue. Somehow magically maintenance records were deleted from their system and they blocked me from being able to view my records online through their system. The manager claimed to not know why I couldn't view my records online anymore but did nothing to fix my account. Wouldn't even let me reset my password. How convenient. Obviously they have something to hide. After getting them to finally take apart my car and run tests, They determined the problem was a parasitic draw that kept draining the battery. After keeping my car for over a month, they claimed to have solved the problem. When I went to pick up my car, the receipt/report they gave me says all they did was put a new battery in. Nothing about tests, nothing about parasitic draw, and It doesn't say anything the manager told me they did to my car. I asked the service guy and manager to change it to reflect the truth of what they told me. They service guy wouldn't change it and the manager won't call back. Kia corporation said there is nothing they can do about them lying on the receipt/report. It sounds to me like they lied about checking my car at all and that is why they don't want to put it in writing. After dealing with so many lies and coverups with this dealership's service department, I will never buy a Kia again. read more

After searching for a car for hubby, I looked online for a deal on our chosen car. Well I called Perris Kia to be told that that price was for a standard and although the ad didn't specify we would have to pay 10,000 more for an automatic. I declined. I received a call a short time later saying they would work with me, so after talking to my son in law, we decided to go down there. We arrived and were met by a young man who came out showed us the car. I asked if he would meet the car price and he went in to sales area to talk to Manager. He said yes they would price match and I told him what color, make I wanted. I told him I would return the next morning to do business. When I got home I called back to ask what time salesman would be in the next day and was given a young lady who asked why I needed information. I explained the whole situation again and was told both manager and salesman were gone for the day but that they would call me first thing Saturday morning. Shortly after I get a call again from same young lady asking if it was the car with the "dent"? I said NO! She then says the car color I want and was promised is on "back lot" and there are no keys! I asked is color there and she says "yes" but manger has to process it so it can be sold and get keys. Tells leaving manager(still no name) a note with all information and I should have a call by 9am at the latest... Saturday at 9:20 I decide to call because they have not called. I ask for manager and the young lady from night before comes on tells me I just got here so let go check and I'll call you back. 10 min later I get a call saying the salesman quit after I was there the day before and they don't know what manager he talked to?!?!? Seriously!!! How do you not know what manager was there! She says a Steve will call me back. 15 min later I call and ask for Steve because at this point I'm like WTH!! Steve gets on line and says he wants me to tell him what's going on! So I tell him the whole story, and he says ok, let me go look to see what's going on. He calls back and says there is no vehicle in the lot or back lot in that color and that because no one knows what manager approved price match, they can't honor it!! And then says you're more than welcome to go to another dealership!! Wtf!! So I get angry tell them it's a bait and switch, that I was lied to by the receptionist Rebecca who said she saw car w/o key the night before and the salesman who quit and talked to the un named manger! Never ever have I experienced such poor salesmanship!! They need communication and managerial training! They stink!! They lie and are rude! I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. We bought a used 2010 Hyundai from here in January 2012. It has been to the dealership 5 times since the purchase (the first time was within days of the purchase). . While it wasn't a Kia I purchased I believe the Perris Valley Kia should have done a more thorough inspection of the vehicle prior to selling it. We ended up having the entire transmission replaced, the wheel bearings twice, and still continue to have issues - of course, the warranty is no longer covering anything. Our attempts to contact them regarding this problem have fallen on deaf ears - "go to the dealership". As a local teacher I will make sure that my parents know not to get ripped off at this place. read more

John and Jeremy in the internet department are nice guys, very personable and helpful. I don't think I can say the same for the other folks working here, especially the management. I had contacted them last week, interested in a 2014 Charger, looking to trade in my FIAT Abarth. I sent John all the information he needed to get me a solid trade-in value estimate and he came back with EXACTLY the number I was looking for. I specifically stated to him that I did not want to go all the way over there and then be lowballed on the trade, he said that wouldn't happen. My problem occurred when I showed up and all of a sudden they couldn't find the guy who had done the appraisal to confirm that previous estimate they had given me. Long story short they weren't able to offer me the amount they said they would, reverted back to a low amount which made the payments skyrocket on the Charger due to the negative equity. I got a call the next day in which John stated that they had finally located the guy and confirmed everything with him, however he had gone back on his estimate due to current rebates that were out on 2014 Abarths. According to John the guy had stated he wouldn't spend too much on my vehicle because he could get a new one for cheaper (keep in mind that they're talking numbers on a 2014 manual transmission Abarth when mine is a 2015 automatic transmission - talk about comparing apples to oranges!). At the end of it all I thanked John and told him I'd be in touch if I were to change my mind on the kind of vehicle I was looking for. I received a call from Jeremy shortly after asking if I was interested in getting into a Kia instead. I had been looking at the Sorento SUV and Optima Sedan also so I told him to get back to me with numbers, which I've yet to receive (note that Perris Valley Dodge and Kia have the same owner, hence the handoff). Overall John and Jeremy were pleasant and helpful in what they COULD do, they're the only reason I give Perris Valley 2 stars. I didn't appreciate the bait and switch tactic Perris Valley used however, so it is not likely I would purchase here. This is a must read for all consumers that seek service at this dealership AKA "Stealership". First, let me start with some history here. I have always brought in my 2008 Kia Sedona here for major service. All of my major service has been electrical as I've never experienced any major mechanical problems. August of 2018 I brought my van in because all warning lights were on. My van was in their shop for about 5 days since they indicated that parts needed to be ordered and that a diagnosis reveled a throttle body needed replacement and a wiring harness was burned and needed replacement cost of about $1,500. I asked Carlos the service rep to save all parts, and only the throttle body was saved. The wiring harness was disposed of but Leo the mechanic was available to speak with me. Leo indicated that the harness was burned and I was very lucky that the van never caught on fire. He indicated that wherever else I took the van the electrical wiring was bypassed and a fuse was missing from the wiring harness to the battery cable. I stated that was unbelievable since I've only used the dealership for service and I never used a third party to do any repairs on my van. The error could only be caused here at the dealership. I've never noticed and burn or smelled anything burning in the engine compartment and the part was disposed and I was not able to inspect it. As a result I feel that Leo and Carlos were lying to me and sold me an unnecessary part. Here, is the worse part. They also installed a throttle body. I paid full price for a part which also includes a throttle body sensor. I notice that the sensor installed in my van was the same old sensor from the previous part. I mentioned this to Carlos and he asked Leo to come out and speak with me. We walked over to the car and I opened the hood and showed him the old part and Leo completely denied it. Carlos and Leo also informed me that I also needed to change my cat converted at an additional cost of $2,000. At this point I said forget it. This dealership is doing their best to sell me unnecessary repairs. I don't trust this service department at all and I recommend that everyone reading this beware. I would also like to add that I overheard Carlos sending a driver to autozone to get parts. When we as consumers use the dealership their is an expectation that we are paying for genuine parts and expert service. Well not this dealership. I will never go back for anything at this dealership. I will never purchase another Kia, and I wouldn't even trust this service department to put air in my tire. I truly hope that this review has helped others out there. read more

Went there with a problem on my wife's Kia. Made noise from the air conditioner and a noise under the dash. The air worked great, until they got a hold of it $1,300 dollars later and a "rebuilt air pump " for the air conditioner along with an actuator for under the dash. Well, 5 days later the noise under the dash is back and they wanted to charge another $800 to fix it saying it was at their cost. Sorry, the noise was already there and they supposedly fixed it. I was done with them. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO THESE #$%^&. I learned my lesson. I will never take my car to them again. The only reason I am giving this place 1 star is because there is no option for negative stars. I was at the dealership for over 4 hours on Saturday, only for them to tell me the banks are closed and they would call me back on Monday. I never received a call and had to contact them myself. They told me to come pick up my new car. When I got to the dealership, they told me they lost my paperwork and I had to start all over. I filled out the paperwork again and the salesman didn't even remember what car I wanted. He ensured me he would call me the next day and I see the number on my caller ID. Thinking it was him, I answered and the woman said she received my interest in the Kia Stinger and asked if I wanted to come see it. WTF?!! I told her I was waiting for a call about my financing and she said she would have the salesman call me. Never received the call! I decided to go to Kia of San Bernardino and was approved and got the car I wanted in less than 3 hours. I should have listened to the other reviews I read and people I personally know who had had a bad experience at Perris Valley Kia. This place is a dump and 3 ring circus.
