We recently became part-time residents of Show Low and are trying all the restaurants to determine our favorites. PersNIKKIty's is first on that list! We first had a lunch visit and were pleased with the atmosphere, menu options and quality of food. We recently tried breakfast and were equally pleased. The avocado toast was presented beautifully with an over medium egg cooked perfectly. It was so good! Husband had a croissant breakfast sandwich and was soaking up every bit from his plate. I had a latte with one squirt of vanilla (trying to avoid sweetness) and it was delicious. Atmosphere is very classy, simple, cute and clean. This place is so cute and cozy. The food is delightful and they have a great kid's menu, which is always very important for my fam. We got peanut butter sandwiches, turkey clubs and chicken strips. They were served quickly and the servers were so nice! My ONLY complaint...if you call yourself a "cafe" please have hot espresso drinks. The main reason we picked this place was because I had a hankering for a latte and they only had iced lattes (weird). I'm not upset we went here, but I felt like this was a big miss on their parts. read more

Menu is still great but we liked the old location better. Happy to see a good place be successful and expand but the atmosphere has totally changed. Feels touristy now. More parking is terrific but service has declined and it's loud. If you want one of their delish cupcakes, now you have to go to their offsite bakery. This little cafe is in an unassuming corner in a plain looking shopping center...so you will miss it if you are not looking! That must be why this is a local favorite versus the tourist magnet some of the other restaurants in town are. But when you open the door you find a friendly and so cozy cafe to enjoy! They have lots of interesting items to try on the menu and good service! Prickly pear lemonade and multiple different teas to try. Smash burgers, sandwiches, breakfast, soup and salads with a full coffee bar to boot! We tried a breakfast burrito which came with fresh salsa, the grilled chicken green chile sandwich, the chicken salad, and the smash burger with garlic Parmesan fries. All was delicious! Food was excellent, ordered the turkey sandwich with parm fries. Customer service was terrible by the same young lady (brunette). This was the second time she was out right rude to my son who asked for a toothpick. First time I was with a male friend and she forgot that we ordered a strawberry lemonade which has to be specially made as she gave us fountain cups. I love this place but I refuse to go back and be treated so disrespectful and condescending. It may be due to our nationality as we are Native Americans. read more

We had smash burgers that were perfect and quite a large serving. Parm fries were also on point, crispy :). The restaurant was very clean and open. Food was served promptly. Excellent little cafe. There are four of us and we all ordered something different and all of it was delicious. They are very generous with the meats in sandwiches. They have a great menu with lots of variety. Their baked goods are wonderful as well. We are planning to eat here again the next day for lunch on our way out to back home. We swore last time we would be back when in town and boy am I happy this was my dinner! So yummy we got different burgers to share and be able to try both again so glad. Did not disappoint once again. Will continue making this a stop when in Showlow eventually we'll find our fav menu item. Service is friendly and speedy. We came in late today 7:15 pm the close at 8 but did not feel rushed at all to eat and leave so they could close, every was still accessible. Nice work ! ALWAYS TOP NOTCH: Service and food. The staff is kind and efficient. When you see the line out the door, don't go! They take the orders before you are seated. Then you are served before you know it. Ambience is nice and it looks like they put some love into some of their items. STAY AWAY from the Chicken Sandwiches. The breast meat comes out of what must be a steam bath batch. It's dry as a bone and looked to be persistent across the chicken sandwiches that they served. Go with a smash burger or maybe a wrap. The food is amazing! I ordered the BBQ chicken wrap with the paramesan fries and the taste was unreal, it was so good I ate the entire thing! Not to mention the food is enormous, if I didn't eat it all I would have eaten the other half of the wrap for lunch. We drove to Show Low from Payson, where we live. We had no idea where to eat in Show Low. I Googled hamburgers in Show Low and several places came up. We decided on PersNIKKIty's Cafe, stopped in, and knew immediately we needed to pick up a menu and order at the counter. The place was very busy which was a good sign for us. Seeing a police officer sitting and eating is also a good sign knowing law enforcement usually eat at the best in town. We ordered a single Cowboy burger with fries for my husband and I had the single Mushroom Munster burger with tator tots. Both were delicious. Fantastic food and drinks. I got an Asian chicken wrap while my daughter got bbq pork street tacos. Some kind of pink drink was the special of the day. Made with coconut milk. I have no idea how they made it but wowza! Everything was very yummy and flavorful. Took a while to get our food as the place was packed and noticed they have a heavy flow of takeout orders coming in. So completely understandable. Service was excellent. Love the new place, great vibe, so much more seating and parking-plus extended hours! It's so nice to be able to order for dinner now. I also like they are playing with the menu and adding new things. The tots are delish, my go to is always the Nashville chicken as a wrap. The gyro and falafel are tasty too! Stopped in a shopping center off the main road to go to Subway. We noticed this cafe in the corner. We love local places, and this cafe did not disappoint. Very friendly staff, quick service, and a large yummy sandwich. Mine came with their parm fries (so good), and hubby got his with tots. Even the restrooms were nice and clean. I have been a fan of PersNIKKitys Cafe for 4 years. They moved to the new location, and this is great as it has plenty of parking and added a lot of more inside seating space! My favorites are the Baja bean burger, my favorite bean burger from anywhere, I also love the Falafel sandwich, both are very,very filling! I always order the Pesto pasta side dish. There is something for absolutely anyone! Great smoothies and baked goods too. My favorite restaurant in the white mountains!! read more
