BBQ Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza Special Garlic Breadsticks

Persona Pizza is one of my favorite places to go today as I'm typing this I met the famous TikTok creator ThePizzaKing! He was awesome to meet and such a nice guy! Also on the other news the pizza was delicious I had also their garlic bread 10/10! I'm definitely coming back again! It wasn't that crowded for being a famous pizza joint would I come back! Yeah I'd definitely come return! The general ambiance was a great place must visit while in Santa Barbara for sure!

DIY PIZZA- $10 Get the Alfredo and pesto sauce base!

Food: 5/5 Location: 5/5 Inside: currently closed! This pizza is helping me through the end of 2020 Pizza was really good, especially for $10 to make your own! Definitely recommend the "Alfredo" and "pesto" base sauce. They are pretty generous with the toppings. I also got the burrata salad, which was really simple but really delicious Location is awesome, right on State Street, and has free 75 min parking right around the back. Can't wait to see the outdoor street seating open. Currently the inside is closed off, so you have to order either at the door, call, or online

    Burnt bottom of pizza

Bad, bad bad. Pizza was burned on the bottom. Taste like pure carbon. Paid for extra basil, got nothing. Soggy on the bottom and sauce was tomato paste at best. It's a sat night too. Very very disappointed Tried to give it to my dog and it had to lick its ass to get the taste out of his mouth:0

    Margherita pizza $7.95 12"

Of all the pizzerias on State Street, I chose to check out Persona.. I wish I went somewhere else though. My friends were hungry and didn't want to walk too far, oh well. The restaurant is next to Forever 21. There's plenty of street parking around the area, usually for 75 minutes only (parking tickets are serious, I hear). It was not busy even though it was dinner time. The servers seemed like they were standing around, joking with one another, trying to pass the time. There was a lot of room to sit inside and tables were pretty clean. The pizzas at Persona are like the ones at Pieology. You get a thin crust and add your own toppings. However, the difference is Persona charges $1.25 per topping and Pieology charges nothing per topping. Good thing I just wanted the margherita pizza because I wanted fresh mozzarella cheese. If I were hungrier, I'd be paying for a $20 pizza for all the additional toppings.. The pizza was very underwhelming. The mozzarella was just eh, and they could have added more basil or marinara. Maybe I'll have to try their specialty pizzas ($11) that they have designed already. Overall nothing was impressive here. They have flat screen menus above the assembly line of ingredients. The pizzas are oven-fired, which is nice. I'll give them two stars.

The Bianca pizza has Olive oil, fresh mozzarella, garlic, oregano, and Sea Salt

First let me start by saying this place has to be the fastest pizza joint in town!! No joke! I ordered two pizzas to go and by the time I paid, sat down and tried yes i say "tried" lol to surf Facebook to pass the time; cuz after-all thats what you see everyone doing when waiting right? Well my number was called in under 10 minutes! I was very surprised at how fast the service was but very pleased. For $6.95 you get a 12 inch. Pizza made to order! What a deal right? I ordered the Bianca pizza which is a white pizza, no marinara. It is made with Olive Oil, Fresh Mozzarella, Garlic, Oregano, and Sea Salt. This pizza was right up my alley. The amount of ingredients was perfect and I especially love the crust. It's thin and crusty. The second pizza I ordered was the classic Margherita. I ordered pepperoni as an extra topping. This pizza was also perfectly made. I will definitely be paying this place a visit again!

You know the saying, fast, good, and cheap, pick two. In Persona, you can have all three and all you have to pick are the toppings. It is not certified authentic Neapolitan pizza, but in this pizza deprived city, I am not hesitant to say that Persona is the best pizzeria in SB right now. What pushes this place to a 5 star is the gelato, which is sourced from My Vienna in Beverley Hills and better than any other gelato places in town. The fruit flavored ones are technically called sorbetto. They are intensely fruity and so creamy that it is nothing short of amazing for being dairy free. It is worthy to just go for desserts since the restaurant is relaxing, roomy, and kids friendly.

3.5 stars for this build your own pizza joint (another craze that's popping up everywhere) We were not creative and stuck to the pre-built options on the menu. Crust was not bad fresh but got a bit hard as we ate ---buffalo chicken pizza: very rich and heavy if that's what you're looking for ---margherita pizza: a lighter option, you can never go wrong with this classic they call your number so you can pick up your pizza (we sat at our table thinking they served it to the table) NOTE: 10% off with yelp checkin

    Artichoke tomato and pesto
    Betty C.

The hubby loved the concept and I loved the pricing. It's subway for pizza. You choose your pizza then the toppings and it's all ready for you freshly baked in a wood oven in 5 minutes for under $10. I ordered the pesto pizza with tomatoes and artichokes (next time I will probably add some sort of meat). My hubby ordered the margherita with sausage. The pizzas were ready in about 5 minutes time and there were plenty of places to sit down. We loved that this place was family friendly but also great for couples, friends, etc. They serve beer, wine, and a pretty nifty soda machine that has a gazillion options. Great option for college students or young families, everyone gets exactly what they want. If you are expecting gourmet pizza this is not, but for the price, it's well worth a visit.

We went once to pick up sandwiches, then dropped in last month for an easy Friday lunch. It's been a valuable addition to our Santa Barbara rotation. We will probably take out more than we dine in, but our sit-down lunch was quite pleasant. The shop is small and charming, and it has a lovely patio with full table service. Our waiter was attentive and helpful. We ordered two glasses of Prà Otto Soave, a nice Italian white. Such a treat to have wine on a patio with a sandwich lunch. I've tried a handful of the sandwiches, and all of them have been great. I'd highly recommend the finocchiona, with fennel salami, fresh pecorino, artichoke cream, and eggplant. The capocollo is good too, with coppa salami, spicy pecorino, arugula, and extra virgin olive oil. My husband's go-to is the caprese, a solid sandwich with cured prosciutto, buffalo mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, basil, and extra virgin olive oil, though it does taste much better with balsamic vinegar, which our waiter was able to provide. On the hot side, I've enjoyed the porchetta, with pork belly roulade, provola, roasted peppers, and lemon dijon. Portions are on the small side, and the focaccia was better on our first visit (I'm guessing it was fresher that day), but overall, I've really liked the sandwiches. If you want Italian sandwiches in Santa Barbara, Olio Bottega is probably the place to get them. I look forward to my next lunch, whether it's at home or on that patio.
