Came here to get some pizzas to go and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were! First off service was 10/10, thanks to the kind gentlemen D who provided my group and I with the just the right amount to order! This place has many different types of pizzas to choose from with great vegetarian options in my opinion. The menu is basically all pizzas with two salad options and wings. They do serve alcohol and do have lunch specials here. We got the family size pizza and an extra large which were plenty for us. We ask for thin and crispy and it was exactly that. We enjoyed the garlic breadsticks, warm and loaded with garlic!

I'm going to start off letting you know I'm from Chicago and also lived in NYC. So my pizza expectations are hard to meet in SB. The white chicken pizza was ok, it had way too much raw garlic in every bite. A little fresh pesto instead of the garlic on top after it's cooked would be a huge improvement. The other sausage pepper onion pizza really bad! They use the cheapest pre cooked frozen sausage crumbles. It tasted like a store bought frozen pizza. The good the pizza crust was nice, crispy & nicely chewy, the red sauce had a good flavor. I would have liked a little more cheese. Both pizzas were about $9.00 each I asked for 2 coronas. When I went to pay it was over $60.00 and I asked why and the girl told me she added a tip. I should have gotten a recipe but I didn't. So I assume she charged me about $25.00 just to ring up my order and hand me my food. Totally not cool. And for that reason I will never give them my business again! Here is a screenshot from your website dude. $8.99 white chicken pizza. Maybe you should use some of that energy insulting me fixing what's wrong with your restaurant. I did not add a tip check your security cameras I wanted to, but she said she added it automatically. so that's on you and if you don't like bad reviews, then I suggest to fix what's wrong instead of insulting your customers.

Mesa Pizza has some good pizza selections. We ordered a Meat Lovers Pizza and Chicken Barbecue pizzas for a table of 7. They were great along with some chicken wings. Lots of good meat and sauces for the pizzas. Nice young staff, and we were satisfied.

When the owner makes the food it's incredible / the best pizza in town, their used to be a very rude worker that worked here for the longest time that made me stop coming here but I don't see him anymore he would hang up the phone and yell at you on the phone and spoke bad English

    my face, pizza, both homemade!

There were definitely aspects of the…read moreexperience that I enjoyed, but a few issues with the food prevented the meal from living up to its potential. For my entree, I ordered the Costolette d'Angello alla Griglia, the grilled lamb chops served with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The lamb was okay, but it arrived more warm than hot and the accompanying mashed potatoes were a disappointment. They arrived noticeably cold in the center, giving the impression that they had been reheated rather than freshly prepared. Unfortunately, those temperature inconsistencies distracted from the dish and even made me question whether everything had been plated and served at its best. The lamb chops were okay overall, but the execution left something to be desired. I also tried the Linguine con Vongole (clam pasta). The flavors were fine and the dish was enjoyable enough, but diners should be aware that there were some broken shell fragments and bits of sand mixed in with the clams. While that can occasionally happen with shellfish dishes, it was noticeable enough that I found myself eating a little more cautiously than I would have liked. One aspect of the restaurant that stood out was the atmosphere. The environment has a distinctive character and personality that makes it feel different from many of the other dining options in SB. It certainly adds to the overall experience. The service was somewhat slow during my visit, though the staff remained friendly and courteous throughout the evening. Overall, this place offered an interesting atmosphere and friendly service, but the food execution felt inconsistent. Between the warm lamb, cold mashed potatoes, and shell fragments in the linguine, the meal didn't quite meet expectations. There's potential here, but a little more attention to detail in the kitchen would go a long way.

The cocktail menu had some clever mixes, and the wine menu offered plenty (maybe even too many) suggestions. SERVICE - Overall service was attentive and effective. The staff worked with our needs and handled a couple of unexpected situations (a couple in our party unexpectedly showing up with their kids in tow) with aplomb. AMBIANCE - While you can't really see much of the ocean, the front windows face it from across the closest street, and the sense of it being there (especially with the windows open) counts for a lot. The house itself is upscale decorated and set. VALUE - Upscale and food and service matches the upscale prices, but it felt like we got worth for what what paid. We paid a bit over $100 a person -- but that included cocktails and wine (and the two kids, who got plates of their own). I don't come very often but was shocked how much prices have gone up since last time here. Appetizers $18 to $25 +. Pasta's $27 to $39+ and anything with meat $36 to $55+. Add a couple drinks and you better contact your banker. The food quality does not match the price hike. The food is just okay and some dishes lack flavor, (pretty bland). Only one of our pasta dishes out of six had a great flavor with a little pizzass. We really enjoyed the special caparelli pasta. The sauce had great flavor and a little kick. Now if they could add a little flavor to the rest of the entrees. As far as service: friendly service and quite attentive with a few hiccups. Brought our bread, drinks and in timely manner but we had no table wear, napkins or sharing plates available. They never did bring any spoons even when served a saucy appetizer, or spaghetti. We had to request these items. Four at our table were served their entree but two of us had to finally ask for our entree after waiting quite awhile. Even though they did come and ask if there was anything else when we asked for crushed red peppers and olive oil it took a substantial time to bring them. This always makes the experience less enjoyable. Not sure if I could recommend coming here again. However the ambience is pleasing and they can accommodate large groups, which is nice. A 5 star for environment. Just wish the food was better quality, then the price would be worth it. Also I do need to add 5 stars for the dessert. Our granddaughters chose Arnoldi's version of spumoni dessert and it was a hit. Awesome appearance and plating with a delicious mix of flavors. The chocolate coating was excellent. Highly recommended.
