I'm sure owners of young cats can relate: Milo is super anxious and completely (and aggressively) against being put in a carrier. We have not been able to get him to the vet or groomer. For his first manicure, Dana came to our home, and Milo melted. He immediately plugged into her positive energy and warm vibe. Initially scared of anyone, Milo went right to her, and without a hand from us, she clipped his nails, holding him like a baby. Dana managed to tend to Milo's claws without alarming him, which is not easy with many cats, but it also left him more relaxed than when she had begun. Dana is a find! She is an experienced and gentle groomer and loves others' pets like they were hers. We would give her ten stars if we could.

I scheduled Max my cat for a lion cut to de-mat him on 3/6. Online booking requires that I had to give up a credit card and pre-approve a $150 charge. Later the day of the grooming, I see a charge pop up for $260!!! This is the upcharge for cutting his nails which I had NOT authorized and for the fact that I hadn't been there "every 3 mos" to get my cat shaved. Who wants to put their cats through that trauma and who can afford that on the regular? Also, who is to say Dana doesn't charge at will being she has unfettered access to your credit card. On Facebook, Dana posted unapproved/unauthorized pictures of Max and mocked me for first questioning and then protesting the upcharge. I have every right to question and protest because 1) you don't charge something that hasn't been authorized 2) you first obtain a customer's approval of the EXTRA services and COST associated. Also, don't you dare say that I'M neglectful. I'm the one paying more than $150 to get my cat groomed. Wait, I meant butchered. He was butchered like a piece of meat. I think the pictures say it all.
