There were two phone numbers written down and taped to the window of the establishment. After contacting both numbers someone texted me back indicating that they did not know there was an appointment scheduled and they're short staffed and couldn't fulfill the scheduled appointment. I found that to be very odd because I had booked the appointment several days prior. I explained I wouldn't be coming back and would like to be refunded for the gift certificate that was purchased. I was told that someone would be in contact with me about reimbursement and I haven't heard from anyone since then. That was three weeks ago. Do not visit this business. They are scammers!!

After several emails back and forth they decided to keep our money and said no prorated amount would be coming. So... they are $400+ richer by not doing the right thing. The girls operating the phone system are so sweet and helpful. They were very patient with me as I asked many questions about the facilities. They did explain to me that the spa facility is currently under construction and the sauna/steam room as well as all of the showers are not in operation. I was a little bummed about that because I really wanted to enjoy additional spa amenities. What I did like is, as someone who is getting their nails and toes done you're still able to use the amenities, if they were available. Some spas do not allow for you to use the amenities when you're only getting a manicure and pedicure so I did respect that. They do have a small, quiet relaxation room with spa water. You can order from the Palma kitchen, which I did because I was starving by the time my manicure and pedicure was over and I ordered a steak bowl with a fried egg which my nail technician, Shelby recommended. Overall, my manicure and pedicure were amazing. The salon is very clean. Shelby was great. What I loved, is the nail polish she used which is called dazzle dry. She told me she uses two coats for base, two-three coats for color, and two coats for the finish, and it will last a long time. As someone who doesn't often get their nails done and never gets gel, dip, or anything special, this lasted me almost 3 weeks, and I'm a mother who always has her hands in water, so that was really amazing. That manicure and pedicure, although pricier than your average nail salon visit, was almost worth it for how long it stayed on. The nail polish also made my nails feel very strong. She did a great job and an under two hours. I was in and out. It was relaxing and enjoyable, also very necessary. I will definitely be returning. Beware that clinical decisions will be made without comprehensive lab work or a detailed review of medical history. I was prescribed blood pressure medication despite my documented history of syncope. This seemed medically inappropriate and potentially unsafe (maybe im just not knowledgeable enough, who knows). I can imagine what prescribing ketamine sessions could do to someone without proper medical review. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this facility felt unsafe for those looking for long term options without the use or over prescription of pharmaceuticals or ketamine. Perspire Sauna Studio is one of the leading companies that does it in Phoenix and surrounding areas. They have several location in town, including this one at Cannon Beach (Mesa). I made an appointment and stopped by on a Sunday at 4 p.m. for my session. Here's a run-down for how it works. After checking in, they will bring you to a private room. You then have 40 minutes to hang out in their infrared sauna. You control the temperature, setting (different lights correspond to different health benefits), and weather you sit there in silence or make use of the TV directly outside of the sauna. They have Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube available. Saunas can also be shared by two people if you'd like to bring a friend or your significant other. There's also a red light therapy option that you can add directly inside your sauna. After your 40-minutes are off, the remaining 20 minutes of your session are to wind down. You can take a shower with a twist. There's a regular shower inside your room, which also has snow shower capabilities. What is a snow shower you may ask? 40 seconds of 45 degree water with the push of a button. I tried it and it was super cold! I had to go in and go out and go back in, rinse repeat, several times. But hey, if you're into cold plunges and stuff like that, you may be able to brave the elements better than me! After you shower, they have a cold eucalyptus towel for you to use. So refreshing! You'll come out of your session feeling good. This is the standard experience. You can add salt therapy as an add-on. You can purchase water, electrolytes, other beverages, etc. And you can either come regularly with a monthly membership (several options are available) or buy a package of sessions (the more you buy, the bigger the discount). And of course, you can pay more for single sessions whenever you'd like. O and they provide you with towels, plus, soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower. Pro tip: your first session is only $20 so it's definitely worth a try to see if you like it!
