We stopped by Ocha for an early dinner before heading to an event at Bonanza High School, which is incredibly convenient since it's just a block away. The food overall was a bit of a mixed bag. The highlight of the meal was definitely the papaya salad--it was fresh, flavorful, and hit the right notes. However, the rest of the dishes were pretty average. The pad see ew, panang curry, orange chicken, and rice were okay, but didn't really stand out. We also tried the crying tiger, which had good flavor but unfortunately came out with way too much fat on the meat. Service was fast enough to get us out the door and to our event on time. It's a solid, convenient option if you are already in the area and need a quick bite, but it's a pretty standard experience.

I just had the most incredible meal at Ocha Thai Food on South Rainbow Boulevard in Las Vegas, and I cant stop raving about it. Everything from the first bite to the last sip was pure perfection, and the service was nothing short of legendary. Lets start with the food, because wow it was out of this world delicious. The Yellow Curry with Chicken was a rich, velvety masterpiece. The sauce was luxuriously creamy and golden, bursting with fragrant turmeric, warm ginger, and a perfectly balanced blend of aromatic spices that danced across my tongue. It had just the right gentle heat that built beautifully without overwhelming, and the chicken was unbelievably tender, juicy, and soaked in every drop of that heavenly curry. I literally wanted to lick the plate clean. The Tom Kha Soup (veggie version) was equally divine an aromatic, silky coconut broth that was tangy, savory, and refreshingly bright all at once. Infused with fresh lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and galangal, it had layer upon layer of complex Thai flavors that made every spoonful feel like a warm, comforting hug. The vegetables were crisp and fresh, adding the perfect texture to the creamy, fragrant broth. It was light yet deeply satisfying, and I savored every single drop. The small rice was fluffy, perfectly steamed, and the ideal companion light enough to let the bold flavors of the curry and soup shine while soaking up every last bit of sauce. And the large soda was crisp, icy cold, and the perfect refreshing counterpoint to the vibrant spices. But what truly elevated this from great to unforgettable was the service. Our server, cashier, and busser was all one incredible woman named Nuc and she absolutely killed it. The restaurant was nonstop busy with constant traffic the entire time we sat down to eat, yet she handled every single role with flawless precision and a huge smile. She greeted us warmly, took our order, served the food piping hot, cleared plates, bussed tables, and rang us up at the register all while staying completely in sync with the kitchen. The timing was impeccable; dishes came out exactly when they should, everything flowed seamlessly, and she never missed a beat even though she was literally doing the work of three people. She was friendly, attentive, professional, and so efficient that the whole experience felt effortless and special. I have never seen anyone multitask that brilliantly under pressure it was truly impressive. Thank you, Nuc, and the whole team at Ocha Thai Food! You turned a quick lunch into an absolute highlight of my day as a local here in Las Vegas. We will absolutely be back soon were locals, so youll be seeing us regularly. If you want authentic, flavor packed Thai food served with heart and hustle, this is the spot. Hands down five stars highly, highly recommend!

Solid Thai spot with great Thai tea and seafood Tom Yum. Walk in, order, and eat no waiters, just quick and friendly service.

This Thai place has some really good Thai Tea and seafood Tom Yum it's very convenient for people working you just walk in order and sit down. The staff is very friendly and remember faces. I recommend anyone looking for a Thai place and don't want to deal with a waiter to come check it out you won't be disappointed

Location of restaurant at the edge of the building.Plenty of parking in the parking lot of the plaza.

Sat, Jan 24, 2026. 2:30 PM. Moderately busy. Plenty of parking. We ordered one Pad Thai, Beef, Spicy level 2. It was enough food for two humans and a dog. Also tasty! The spice level was on the recommendation of the waitress and she got it right. Spicy and it didn't kill my chemoreceptors. We waited about 30 minutes for our takeout order. So did the new friend I made while waiting. There was a younger gentleman who ordered first and he was still waiting when we left. One family already eating in the restaurant. Thai teas looked delish! No boba. Would like to return to try their curries!

I've been going for years and although the location changed the quality has stayed consistent, delicious. Must try dishes are the beef jerky, panang curry, mint meat and the papaya salad. Along with the Thai tea.

Great thai restaurant next to Home Depot. Got the chicken pai thai - it was very good. They have lunch specials during the week so I got one of those.

Very nice staff, pad thai was AMAZING. Quick and casual vibe, order and pay first then food comes out to you. Don't let the casualness vibes fool you though, we were hungry and ordered extra and the total bill was pretty high as if it were a more formal restaurant! Was craving mango sticky rice and theirs is deep fried, tried it anyway - it was good but huge portion, wish it was half the size. We had a small issue with the bell pepper and was a bit hesitant to bring it up, we did anyway and they were super accommodating to make things right. Will be back but probably to-go instead of dining in.

I guess those days are gone when you could dine in for 15 $, I was in the neighborhood and was super hungry and didn't want fast food. This seams like a nice spot where you can eat good food. They really have lot of choices appetizers, soups, noodles, fried rice... I ordered Seafood soup which was around 18 bucks, added some rice and tips ended up being 25 dollars. Anyways soups comes in special dish with a hole in the middle where they put flame to stay warm. Seafood soup was super tasty with shrimps, shells and some weird white chewy thing that I don't know what it is but it was delicious. I am glad I ordered rice since soup is plain (no noodles inside). It was super hot so I need to wait to cool down. The portions are big so I requested a box and I had my lunch for tomorrow. Customer service not great , lady at the counter barely talked to me. They have 4 tables inside so people take out food i guess. Very busy place, and I understand why food is great. They ask you how spicy you want. I like that.

And the thing we all agree on is this is the best Thai restaurant in Las Vegas. It's a few minutes away from the strip which is great. Free parking. Fair price. And crazy delicious food. Service is good. Ambiance is relaxing in the lunch time while fun and atmospheric at night time. But the food gosh darn the food is amazing. Come check it out

One thing I immediately noticed upon parking is that this location feels much less sketchy than the original spot on Sahara. Lotus of Siam used to be my favorite Thai restaurant in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the quality has declined over the years while the prices have increased significantly. Ambiance (3/5): There are several private dining rooms that can accommodate groups of up to 50 people, making it a good option for company events and large gatherings. However, the interior already feels a bit dated. Service (3/5): Service was okay. Our server was efficient but not particularly warm or friendly. Food (4/5): This visit, we ordered the signature crispy duck (4/5), garlic prawns (5/5), and Pad Thai (4/5). The garlic prawns were easily the standout dish of the meal. I would recommend sticking with their signature dishes, as some of the other menu items can be hit or miss. For example, the Pad Kee Mao was pretty underwhelming. Overall, it was an okay experience. While there are still some excellent signature dishes on the menu, I don't see myself returning anytime soon for Thai food at these prices.

Both were really delicious! The term unctuous comes to mind - you'll want to keep eating despite getting full. I also think the prices are reasonable. This location is a bit busier than the other, unsurprisingly with being located on Fremont. Because of that, parking will be trickier. The restaurant is very small and quiet, which we enjoyed because it felt like being in someone's home for dinner.
