The vibes are really fun, very vibrant and there are various rooms that could offer more intimate spaces if you wanted. We were greeted pretty promptly, but the service was admittedly slow. He was attentive when around, and there was someone always coming around and filling our water, but it did take a bit to get our order in and receive our food. The food was absolutely delicious! I can't remember the name of my meal, but it had steak with chimichurri, fried plantain, pico, avocado, beans, rice and an egg. My favorite part was definitely the steak! It was perfectly cooked and the chimichurri added the best brightness that the dish needed! There are so many spots in Vegas so I'm not sure I'd come back but I definitely enjoyed it.

Every food item on the Happy Hour menu is $12, which makes it a great way to try a variety of dishes without spending a fortune in Vegas. We ordered the shrimp tacos, CHICA nachos, Firecracker Wings, quesa-birria empanadas, potato flautas, shrimp ceviche, and ahi tuna bites. Everything was absolutely delicious, and there honestly wasn't a bad dish in the bunch. One thing to keep in mind is that these truly are small plates. Don't expect a lot of food with each $12 dish. They're perfect for ordering several different things and sharing, but if you're really hungry, you'll definitely want to order multiple plates. The Firecracker Wings had a really nice kick to them. We loved the spice, but if you have a lower spice tolerance, be careful with those! Also, a heads-up about the shrimp ceviche: CHICA's version is more tomato-based rather than the bright, lime-forward ceviche you might be expecting. It was still really good, but if you don't like tomato-based ceviche, that's definitely something to know before ordering. For drinks, we tried the CHICA-Rita, Palomita, and Tommy's Margarita. They were running a 2-for-1 drink special for $21 total, which was such a great deal, especially for Vegas. Between the absolutely delicious food, fun atmosphere, and Happy Hour pricing, we really enjoyed CHICA. It's a great spot if you like ordering a bunch of small plates for the table and getting to try a little bit of everything.

If you're also the only tourist while everyone else clearly knows exactly what they're doing, that's confirmation. This is the kind of place locals keep to themselves. Alpacas and me have something in common. We both show up cute and ready to mingle... and then the food hits the table and suddenly it's every alpaca for themselves. No eye contact, no conversation, just full commitment to the plate. The food is excellent. High quality, bold, and generous. The portions come out like full platters, not skimpy little plates. It's not cheap, not expensive, just right, and you actually feel like you got your money's worth. Both my friend and I ordered the lomo saltado, and for me, that's the standout. New York strip steak, very tender, no gristle, cooked properly. Big portion, full of flavor, and exactly what you want when you order it. This place doesn't try to impress you. It just serves really good, very authentic food and lets that do all the talking.

It's very frustrating to be told 30 minutes, arrive on time, and then have to wait almost an extra hour. On top of that, the quality of the fried rice has declined significantly, and the portions have gotten noticeably smaller. It's disappointing because this place used to be really good. We used to recommend it to all our family and friends when they first opened, but unfortunately, things have changed a lot. At this point, I think it's time for us to start going somewhere else.

I eat at plenty of Peruvian restaurants back home and they are just as good as the spots in my neighborhood. My experiences here have been mostly good - there was one time during Thanksgiving that the orders were backed up and we didn't receive a warning beforehand how long our food would take - but I don't think one bad instance merits the loss of a star. The staff is pretty friendly and the food is great. I really enjoy their steak dishes, like their bistec con tallarin verde and bistec a lo pobre. One of their newer dishes has easily become my favorite: causa acevichada. It's a dish that combines two appetizers: causa and ceviche. It's a delightful dish and perfect! If you're in the area and want authentic Peruvian food in a very casual setting, check them out.

I got the 1/4 pollo w 2 sides, yucca fires which was +$2 and salad. Yucca fries are the perfect vehicle for the green and yellow sauces!! The salad was just lettuce, tomato and cucumber. The chicken is moist, not at all dry. I also ordered a side of tallarin verde (10). It was so saucy, I wished I had bread or extra rice to mop up all the sauce!! My friends got the bisteck, well done, and came out juicy! The plantains are so sweet! Plenty of parking. Server was very attentive!

Other than that, the service was great and the food was really good as well! The chicken had a lot of flavor and was very juicy, the skin of course had the most flavor, but it was still well seasoned well-into the middle of the chicken. We also tried the plate that came with ribs/pork/a tamale. The tamale was kind of dry and lacking in flavor, the pork rib was good but the other pork pieces were super tough (but it did have a lot of flavor). I would definitely go back just to order family-style of that chicken, salad, and fried yucca! The two green sauces they served everything with were really good as well and if you come here, I would ask for a lot of it, because all the food paired well with those sauces/salsas.
