Luis was very polite and did a thorough job of spraying the pesticide inside the garage, garden shed and the perimeter of the house. We've been using Pest Protection Services since June 2022 and I'm so glad we went with them. I exchanged a few emails with Dan and he was very informative about treatment schedules and what is offered. We had a small roach problem in the garage which has since gotten better. We chose the bi-monthly schedule, as monthly didn't seem like something we needed for a minor infestation. We've recently had an issue with earwigs coming in as well, and roaches out in the garage, but not nearly as much as we used to since Dan started treating our house. The areas we have treated aren't particularly large, so I think the pricing is a very fair reflection of that. I love that we get a text in advance of the pest control so we can always be around to unlock the gate when they come. We bought our first home here in the Bay in February. Spring came along and we were killing spiders 3-4 times a day and we also had a few run ins with cockroaches in our garage. I can't deal with cockroaches or spiders so we got a few quotes and talked to a handful of pest services. I'll say the first thing I really loved about Pest Protection is you don't feel pressured to sign a contact immediately. Daniel is super cool and straightforward with you. He'll give you prices and options. You even have the option to do a one time service which many pest services do not offer. Anyway, because Daniel was so chill and I didn't feel like I was signing my life away we ended up getting monthly sprays. We could not be happier. After the first spray we saw a handful of dead cockroaches (which is fantastic. I like them dead) and we saw one or two sneaky spiders a week! And that was after one spray! It helped tremendously. Darell is a super cool guy and he sprays throughly along with a quick scan of your yard to make sure everything looks good. I really appreciate that he texts you when he will be arriving. This helps because we have dogs that go outside. This company is great and highly recommend them over anyone else (and we got quotes and spoke to about 4 different companies). The staff is really efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable, and I like how I can do a one time service. Our spiders, pincher bugs, and ants were gone but it didn't last long. After a month we got an infestation of ants (which was now worse before we sprayed) and spiders are showing up again. I understand it's summer, we have a lot of greenery, and that's why it's recommended to continuously spray but for the price, I expected to at least last throughout the summer. read more

Updating my review as my ant infestation this summer was still ongoing. After contacting pest protection for additional help and servicing they ultimately recommended that I find another company. While several ad-hoc house calls were completed at my request by Pest Protection the ants would always return within a few weeks and sometimes in larger amounts. Our kitchen and living room became uninhabitable because ant were all over the countertops, food, furniture. Pest protection made it clear that they were not equipped to manage my isolated ant infestation and would also discontinue my recurring quarterly maintenance service sprays. While I appreciate their honesty and early notification I am disappointed that not more solutions were offered since I have been a customer for nearly 3 years. I offered to pay for the additional ant servicing I requested but this was declined. After switching to another pest control company my ant issue is finally under control and are prepared to assist if the ants come back. Pest protection is a great company for keeping insects at bay on a regular basis but may not be the my personal top selection for difficult critters that require aggressive and ongoing treatment. I decided to try this company based on a referral from a friend and have had nothing but issues since signing with them. The first technician to show up told me before he even saw anything that he would not be able to handle all the spiderwebs and that he would not be able to provide the service that I requested. He didn't do his job as soon as he showed up, he gave me all the reasons not to be there and was only here for only 12 minutes, it was clear for the moment I met him He did not want to be here or do his job. I had to have them come back out still wasn't done to my satisfaction had them a few months and it's still more of the same !! it's honestly a waste of money. I have not had any difference in my spiders. They also promised me they would do my downstairs Dock on the phone when I signed up and when the technician arrived, he informed me that that was impossible. I feel very misled and have no customer service! I had a technician show up today 45 minutes early and was upset that I was unable to meet him at that time. He came back had to wait 10 minutes for me and said he had to leave to pick up his child not really sure what he expected to do in those 10 minutes before he had to leave Because it should be at least a 20 minute visit due to the amount of spiderwebs and spiders and spraying he needs to do and has yet to do correctly !! The office lady called me and said he was about to leave if I wasn't there any minute when I pulled in at that very moment he was already gone. It's very clear to me. I used these guys a few months ago for ants that were out of control. I asked a million questions, and they were patient and answered all of them, and educated me on the different types of ants and what to look for. I told them I had cats and they used a product that wouldn't hurt them. They found the ants were coming from the laundry room- I never would have guessed. Haven't had an ant problem since. Service is OK (which it should be). However, make sure you make it clear to them when you want to stop service, else they will keep on spraying your property and bill you for it. And if they come when you're not around, even better (for them) so they can collect another $100.00.
