Been a customer since 1995. Discontinued service today. Through the years the service has been spotty at times, but mostly acceptable to great, depending on the technician. One problem is that we've asked them to schedule a visit as we have dogs we need to contain. Quite often this did not happen. If they did schedule, i.e. between 1:00 - 3:00 pm, they'd show up at 11:00 and no one was at home. This happened 3 times in a row trying to get our last service completed. They've always come in and inspected the crawl space or attic when requested. Not anymore. I have to agree with the reviewer of 3/4/2020. read more

I have been with Pestmasters for the last couple years with absolutely awesome service! I have no idea what this business is doing or who they are hiring but they are not providing the service their customers deserve! Two technicians and they wouldn't spray inside or outside my house like I usually get. They did $10 worth of work instead of $135. I have bugs on my windows and in my house and I had to terminate my contract because I need a company that provides the service I deserve instead of trying to make their payroll. It's super sad that this company doesn't care about there customers anymore! Now it's going to cost me $$$$ to start all over with someone else! Do your homework and ask your friends who is their exterminator before you contract with someone. I found Pestmasters at the home show and a few companies I know uses them! Bob our tech spent over an hour doing a thorough inspection of our home, attic to basement, and all our property outside. He then explained everything we have going on which of course included the flies and ants we knew about but also included scorpions and spiders we didn't know about because we don't see them. We are happy to know now what we didn't know before and appreciate Bob taking the time to teach us. We went with the quarterly plan as Bob recommended, he explained he would not have to come monthly to control our situation. I am almost scared to leave a review because of the way that the owner attacks customers for trying to warn others about the horrible customer service of this company. I just cant let this slide. Please do not give this company your hard earned money. I tried to explain that my dog ate a blue block of bait that was supposed to be for mice and they accused me of trying to scam them! The technician came and replaced the blocks in a rodent box but did not close it properly. My puppy ate whatever was in there and I called them to see if it was harmful. I was told that any vet would know what to do "if what you are saying is true" Luckily my puppy is okay. No compassion. They tried blaming me. Horrible experience. The owner is awful. read more

PestMaster was the only company willing to accommodate a Saturday service (Note; At no extra charge.!) when all tenants were home, of a 4-Plex owned by a client of mine. Three technicians showed up on time, surveyed the apartments that were previously noticed and prepared by the tenants (Clean all kitchen floors, walls, empty all cabinets, etc.) then developed a "plan" and immediately commenced treatment, spending a total of ~4 Hrs. total time (~1 Hr./Unit), and did an excellent job, evidenced by "Happy Tenants", and briefed tenants for a scheduled second treatment return in 2 Weeks.! I have now been dealing with Pestmaster services for about a year and a half. Both Devin and Dylan are courteous, respectful and professional. My wife, having a degree in entomology, generally has questions for the pest control company to ensure they are meeting out needs. Pestmaster Services is the first pest control company that she has been satisfied with. They use the right products, and will tailor the treatment to your wishes, as much as can be done. Our last treatment was a termite treatment. Going through a VA refinance, they required a treatment since we did not have the treatment receipt from the prior owner. Not only did they complete the work much faster than I anticipated (They did not cut corners), but they had the joy of dealing with the refinance representative that was asking for something generally not done in Virginia. They took time out of their work day (probably about half a day total, maybe more) to talk with the rep and finally understand what she was asking for. For every interaction we have had with Pestmaster Services, we have nothing but good things to say. I know there have been some sub-par reviews in the past, but whatever Dylan and Devin are doing has definitely turned things around. I felt like I was dealing with a family owned business that cares about their customers and not just looking to make a quick buck. I never thought that I would highly recommend any pest control company, but I can definitely say that I highly recommend them. Thank you for the help you have given to us over the past couple of years, and for the work you will provide when we have to PCS and have tenants here. Keep up the great work!!! read more

Such a disappointment! I just waisted my entire Saturday waiting for a technician that never showed up. They initially told me that I would have a morning appointment, then when they called you give me a confirmation they said they only had a 4:15 available. Then she called back 10 minutes later to tell me they could schedule me between 8:30 and 9:30. No one ever showed up today! This is the third time I've had to come out in less than a month and we still have ants everywhere in our home. I feel like I just wasted $160 . To the Pestmaster rep that responded to my review. I haven't lived in Redding for quit some time. I tried updating my profile with fail. I am in Reno. I definatly have the correct buisness. How do you not see a problem with your tech no-showing a scheduled appointment? I hope for your sake that your business chooses to conduct itself better in the future. read more

We've had a service agreement with Pestmaster for nearly 6 years, and have regularly scheduled inspections and outdoor treatments. Always on time, and the products are effective and eco-friendly. This time, Joe came out to check on scratching sounds in the attic (which we decided were birds). He found a small gap where the stucco did not go all the way to the roof. He repaired this, and we have had no other issues. No charge for this service! read more

When I initially selected this company the reviews were much better. We are stopping our service with them due to the lack of customer service. Given that the service is only a few times a year, I am completely perplexed why I would get a text THE DAY BEFORE stating that they would be coming. Seriously??? We have a life and it means that a day's notice does not suffice. When I called to reschedule, I was told that I would be called the next week to see what worked for us. No phone call. I got a text THE DAY BEFORE informing me that they would be coming. No phone call to see if it was convenient. When we called to say that we were terminating our association with them we were told that it would be a $200 charge for violating the year contract. We would have to have one more service call. Fine. They did the service call. Now they're fired. read more

You can deny it all you want, but the facts are the facts, and no one ever showed nor called the day of the appt. We had them come out for bed bugs for my girl friends apartment. They treated it once and said they would follow up and treat again if necessary. They came back to monitor and when we told them that we have seen bed bugs. They would treat again but they never did. They were very rude to her and often times would never show up when they said they would. And she still has the bed bugs. We are going to have to find a new pest control company. A waste of $450. Stay far away from them. read more

Can I give 0 stars? Do not use Pestmaster unless you want to throw your money away. We had a Pestmaster come to our house to rid us of wasps. The technician came out and knocked down a few nests, but left 5-6 nests untouched (the ones that were difficult to get to). My husband pointed out some of the nests to the technician who claimed he was leaving them up because they had been treated and any wasps that were out flying around would return to the nests and die. After a week, we still had active nests. Our receipt for $90 said we had a 30 day guarantee so I called Pestmaster and told a supervisor that we still had several active nests and I wanted them taken care of. He said the technician should have knocked them down and they would be able to reach with their ladder. So the manager came back out with the technician and knocked down more nests and treated the area. About a week later, still within the 30 day guarantee, we had more nests and it seemed like some areas had not been treated at all. I called Pestmaster back and left a message for Steve or Steven in customer service. He called me back and I told him that they had been out to the house twice and I still had wasps and had knocked down more nests myself so I wanted my money back. He should not be in customer service. He was rude and insulting. He asked me if I was just looking for a free service; I told him that as far as I was concerned, I hadn't received a service. He said if I was looking for a money back guarantee I wasn't going to get it. Apparently the 30 day guarantee is only that they will keep coming back within the 30 days and only do half a job. Then he said that I could have called them to get the nests I knocked down and that it was only my word that there were any nests left. I told him I was not happy and they were going to loose a customer. He started talking over and just kept saying over and over "have a nice day then, have a nice day." To recap, I called to say I was not happy and was accused of running a scam try and get a free service, making up the fact that there were nests left, and then patronized with "have a nice day. Unbelievable. I was mad about the poor service and they made me irate at the lack of customer service. The worst, most frustrating, most infuriating waste of money! read more

I came to this page because I saw the 1 star rating and was really surprised. We have used Pestmaster's services for a while now (a year? Two? not sure), and they have done what they say they will do. We always get a call the day before they are coming out, so we have plenty of time to unlock our yard for them. We've had the same tech for the last few quarterly visits (Jillian), and she is pretty awesome. She's friendly and professional and we have no complaints. We did have a billing issue when they switched over to the new system, but it was resolved quickly once we brought it to their attention. Their response time is great and I really like that when I call them, a human answers the phone. read more

We have a pest issue and didn't know what to do. Pestmaster actually have an emergency line with oncall technician working off hours. Jerry came out on Saturday morning to look at what we have and gave us advices at free of charge. The work is done prevously done by another pest company that we have issues with. what a rip off these guys are....asked them to come to my home because of some droppings found outsdie we could not identify, and were concerned it was rats. was told they would come out, inspect the house and yard, fix any minor access points, leave bait traps and other traps and provide a comprehensive pest service they came out and couldn't identify the droppings, left 4 sticky traps (that I would have had to dispose of) and 2 baits stations and wastoldthey would be back in a week to check...took him about 20 minutes.. $250 after multiple phone calls the "technican" came back 5 weeks later, nothing in any traps (they were inside where there was never any activity), no/little activity in the bait traps and WE STILL HAVE THE SAME DROPPINGS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE! read more
