My dog is actually there right now during this hurricane and I don't trust anyone else but Riley's to keep watch of my pup.

I emailed 8/8/16 to reserve Thanksgiving dates for 2016 and I received an email reply asking for shot records and for a time convenient to bring my dog for a temperament test and a tour. I replied to the Owner's email with the dates and times good for me. I asked my Vet to fax the vaccine records which they confirmed was done on 8/15/16. When I did not hear back from Riley's about the appointment, I called on 8/22/16. The telephone rang and rang and then went to a busy signal. Thinking I had misdialed, I called again with the same results. I thought this odd and even more so because they had no voice mail. I called again on 8/25/16 to finally speak with a person. The staff member could find no record of my reservation nor my Vet's fax with the vaccine records. After some questioning and being put on hold, the person told me she found my reservation and the record. I made an appointment 8/26/16 for the tour and temperament test. Today when I arrived, no records or reservation was found. I was not impressed with the customer service based on my experience. I wonder how they treat pets when they treat an Owner with such indifference and incompetence. I left immediately with my doubts and uneasiness confirmed. Luckily I was able to get my pet sitter for the Thanksgiving holiday. God was letting me know not to use this facility...who knows what could have happened to my dog if I had left him in the care of such an unorganized place!

Ten minutes before they closed I was stuck behind an accident on the bridge and I began calling to notify staff I was running behind. No one picked up the phone as I called for 15+ minutes. I get there 5 minutes after close (my fault I get it) but the doors were locked and lights were off. No staff attempted to reach out to me via email call or text. I have absolutely no clue where my dog (my emotional support pet) is. Their policy says under these circumstances that I've abandoned my dog and they may give her to a shelter. Again, I have absolutely no idea where she is. Two panic attacks later, I show up the next day, pick my baby up, and take her home. They still charged me, never apologized and claimed they tried to reach out to me. My number and email on the account were correct (I double checked). I'm begging you not to take your dog here, they do not care about you or them even a little. It's been years and still to this day it is the only time I've lost my temper with a service worker. Please please, please, do not bring your dog here.

Ashley locations…read more I have to be honest, had I seen these reviews before, I'm not so sure I would have gone here, but my niece knew someone who had boarded their dogs here and didn't have a bad experience and we were in a real bind. Here's my story: My planned pet sitter bailed on me with less than a week before my trip, so I needed a quick plan of action and, like I said someone I knew also knew someone who had boarded their dogs at the "Mt. Pleasant location" (not specified which one) and I recalled having been told this was a good place to get a dog groomed as well from someone. (Obviously didn't check my yelp directory first). Contacted the Hwy 17 location, told them of my predicament and they advised me that I needed to bring the dog in for a trial daycare prior to boarding. Mind you, I am calling over the weekend and I will need to bring in my pup on Wednesday afternoon due to an early Thursday morning flight. So, I fill in all the paperwork, bring my dog in Monday, all goes well, blah blah blah, but THEN they tell me they do not have any suites available for the time we will be gone, only kennels (cages). They say I am free to call any other location to see if they have suites available and it will be no problem to switch my reservation. I contact the W. Ashley location and, they say they have room, yes a suite, but, no, I do have to bring my dog in for a trial day care at their location, different dogs, different layout, blah blah blah.... Drop off and pick up here do not go so well. I have to say the people working the front desk at this location are not the brightest I have ever met. No one was expecting me for her drop off, or her pick up, it was a mess! Then, I get a call from Taylor, the manager, who is all confused about what is going on, I explain the situation to her, she finally understands and sorts out the situation. So - kudos to Taylor. She made the best out of a messy situation. Even at dropoff on Wednesday, it just didn't go that smoothly, the "system shows someone in her suite", etc. nothing could go smoothly. At pickup same thing, I had a 10% off first boarding and the young woman didn't know how to take the discount. So, I give them four stars because they really helped me in a bind and my dog was fine when I got home. However, this place clearly needs some work on its staff training.

We LOVE our dog walker Briana and I am constantly getting comments from neighbors on how wonderful she is with my dog. She really loves him and he loves her. My furry boy came to me with lot's of anxiety and it was Robin who suggested I send him to doggy daycare 2x a week for socialization. She made the recommendation based on my dogs needs even though she lost two days of business. I will never forget that gesture and she was right, my furry boy LOVES daycare. You will always know that your animal comes first!!
