When I arrived, another groomer reminded Kristal that my pup was her 3:30 appointment. Kristal appeared frustrated, rolled her eyes, raised her eyebrows, and told me, "I'll take you back in a minute. I still have to finish this dog." I understand that scheduling mix-ups happen, but her body language and tone came across as though she did not want to be there. I offered to cancel and reschedule with another groomer, and she said, "No, I have to stay anyway," in a tone that made me uncomfortable leaving my pup in her care. Because of the interaction, I decided to cancel. Luckily, I was able to make an appointment at another grooming salon, and my pup came out so happy and looking incredibly handsome. Unfortunately It is safe to say I will not be returning here for grooming services I believe a groomer's attitude and personality are important because pets can pick up on that energy. As a pet owner, I want my pup to feel comfortable, welcomed, and genuinely cared for.

He didn't go crazy for it like he does for some other treats. It takes him a second to eat it during training. Overall I may not get another treat from Vital Essentials. And the pricing of it was overpriced. It was $18.31. I see how it's more than others because it's freeze dried raw. But overall I wasn't the biggest fan of it. The toys at Protein For Pets looked like my pup would have a good time. I also saw some chew toys. I was satisfied with that section. But I didn't come for that. So I only glanced at it. This was the fourth fish store that I've visited; it's always an interesting encounter having the store work with a novice. The store is dark with neon lights upon walking in. It was quiet, empty besides one person, and slightly intimidating. I ended up walking away with 3 shubunkin goldfish. I originally came in for one, but he chuckled and explained that they had a deal on goldfish. He had so much patience and understanding. He let me pick out my fish (but to the naked eye, I'm sure they all look the same). I took my time picking out the ones with the best physical traits. He was the fishing ninja! He scooped them up swiftly and quickly! He walked me around the store and showed me snails and other goldfish he had, before ringing me up. He explained me the tank process and the benefits of snails. He explained to me the different filters and what was the most suitable for my tank. He also asked how I acclimate my fish, then explained the proper way to do so. Honestly, I needed more support and explanations than the average customer, and I was a bit taken aback by the guy in the store. I realized that it's just completely his demeanor, and he wasn't trying to be unhelpful. If you're willing to care for his fish, he will explain and help you! I told him I'd be back for some more snails. My picture is my fish about 6 weeks later. :)

We were told that Brady was barking and moving around, and his haircut came out terrible--uneven and poorly done. If Xiomara was unable to safely or properly groom him, I would have preferred that she stop and let us know rather than send him home looking like this. When they called us about the situation, I specifically told them to just bathe Casper and not cut his hair. However, I still expected him to be properly washed, dried, and brushed as part of the service. When we got him back, it did not appear that he had even been properly brushed. I understand that some dogs can bark or move during grooming, but communication and professional handling are part of the job. If they were having difficulty grooming Brady, I would have appreciated being contacted before continuing with a haircut that came out looking this bad. We paid expecting our dogs to be properly cared for and receive professional service, and unfortunately that was not our experience. Very unprofessional and extremely disappointing.

I have a French Bulldog, and because of their sensitive skin and tendency toward allergies, it's very important that they are completely dried after bathing. If their skin stays damp for too long, it can cause problems. Sometimes the time restriction makes it a bit challenging to properly dry my dog.
