There 4 dollar outfits for grandmas dogs

My son wanted food for his frogs, so we stopped by PetSmart. Let's start with this the place wasn't the cleanest. There was a piece of dog poop right in front of the door, and I'm just standing there thinking, what kind of owner lets their dog do that in front of a PetSmart? Like... bro, you're literally steps away from the cleanup aisle. Anyway, parking was easy nice little spot right up front so we went inside. We couldn't find the frog food at first, but we did find a SpongeBob pineapple house for his frog. My kid was hyped, so that was a win. I told him, "Hey, go ask the lady where the food's at," and he was shy at first but finally went proud dad moment. The employee was super nice and helped us find everything we needed. Then we started checking out the animals saw a few fish that looked like they were questioning their life choices, and a cat that gave me the same look I give my bills. My wife found one happy fish though, so balance restored. Before we left, we noticed a clearance rack of pet costumes for $4 each, so obviously, we bought a few for my son's dogs. I mean, how do you go wrong with $4 outfits for animals that already hate wearing clothes? We went home stocked up, frog happy, and everyone satisfied except that poor fish.

I was given an infected mouse from here and my mouse died. Aside from the fact that I am upset that I spent over $400 here getting everything for my mouse so that I could give him a good life he ended up dying five days after I got him from a mite infestation that had gone unnoticed. Although I had him a short time I had grown very attached to him. He was a very good little mouse so it hit me very hard after his passing. Please do not buy rodents from here so that you don't experience what I went through.

Took my lil babe to the groomers for the scoot solution only $12. My dog doesn't mind his ears mouth and feet being touched too much, he's only been to one other groomer. He seemed nervous at first but the tech pulled out their sweet voice and gave him all the scratches so he was happy to go back. They brought him out quickly & put cologne on him to help with the smell. Super effective and easy to get this task done when it needs to be done:

Honestly I'm so irritated, we come to this location ALLLLL the time and we always buy the upgrade. I LITERALLY HAD MY LIL BROTHER call me when he was at the grooming salon and I talked to Brianne who was our groomer to tell her to NOT MAKE CHLOE LOOK LIKE A POODLE!!!! MORE LIKE A TEDDY! I just got home this morning and see my dog look exactly like a rat, I know she was matted but her face wasn't, and I said rounded face, put notes in the check-in section and had a phone call and verbal agreement with the salon, like WTF seriously why the heck did I waste $100 plus for my dog to look like a rat? Now I know why the rating for this place is so terrible, I just don't get it, if you don't have the skills or talent to do what a client asks, maybe be honest and tell the client? But where's the miscommunication? Should I speak another language maybe you guys will understand it better? Pleassseee have a manager contact me, (that probably will never happen either

If you're gonna go anywhere for grooming, come to DAVID. He is the absolute best!! I'm definitely a protective parent when it comes to my pup but from the start, I knew I could trust David. He went slow and was so gentle with my Cricket girl. Will definitely be coming back and requesting him. While Cricket was getting groomed, I spent close to an hour trying to figure out a new dog food. For the last year and a half, I've been trying to find a brand my dog will actually go for. Justin, the manager, had a ton of helpful info when picking out what was best. He walked me through different brands and sure enough, I added in a little NaturalPet stew to my dogs food when we got home and she finished EVERYTHING. Really appreciated Justin's time and David's grooming service.

Bed shave on his face it's very uneven and it's bleeding in spots

I took my 13 year-old miniature poodle that is blind and deaf to be groomed and trimmed when I picked him up they were still working on him after 4 hours. They cut his nose and his eyes and he bled for 2 days. It looks horrible. They did a horrible horrible job when I told them I was unhappy they said that they would give me 10% off next service, but I will never be going back. They cut his skin they just they really hurt him and I think it was really wrong. I have pictures to show it and I really don't think that anybody should go there. They're very unprofessional and did a rotten job. they charge me extra because they said that he was hard to handle. He's very mellow and quiet. I sat and watched them trim him, and he was not giving them a problem at all. He's very small and he's very gentle. $72 to give him a bath and a clip and it was poorly done and they hurt him. I did not recommend them to anyone.

I'm in need of a haircut in this pic and don't know WHY my mom insists on showing it

Clean store, both visually and in smell. Literally saw a customer pick up after their dog! (I make this point because unfortunately I've also seen the opposite ‍‍) Received GREAT customer service from Justin, helping me find dog food. He was both friendly and helpful! Which is always a plus seeing as how most people act like you're bothering them with questions even though they work retail ‍‍ Anyhow, lemme step down off of my lil soap box Both Justin and I believe the cashier named was Daniel (but don't quote me on it!) gave service with a smile. It's been too long since I've had my pooch groomed here too give an up to date review, BUT (you thought I'd have nothing to say huh?! THINK AGAIN ) when I used to bring my pooch here, I had NO PROBLEMS! The groomers were also friendly and helpful. They would explain the cuts and why a service would or would not be recommended and then let the decision be yours. Some things I didn't know and with their help and knowledge I've been able to be an even better dog mom! In short, (I laugh every time I say that! I'm NEVER short on words or opinions ‍) I would recommend this store to family & friends. They get 5 stars from me today

The nicked/cut on his belly and irritation/reaction on his balls. The ball area turned very red hours after this picture.

We've been going to that other "smart" store for over five years to have our dog's nails trimmed…read more Ever since, they've told us that we can just walk in and they will do the trim. The most we've ever had to wait is about 15 to 20 minutes. Today, was no different, walked in at 10:15a, let them know that we needed a nail trim, the associate said that the earliest they can get us in was not till 12 PM without an appointment. An appointment? I explained to them that in the five years we've been going to them for nail grinds (which is pretty frequent) we've never had to make an appointment. That's when she said that making appointment has always been in place. So, I walked out, came over to The Good Dog. The General Manager greeted us, even while working with another customer. Listening how he handled the other two customers in front of us (who appeared to be regulars) set the tone that this is a friendly place that we want to be a part of. You know, it's like "Cheers," you wanna go where everyone knows your name! Well, they were able to get us in right away. They advised we typically do not need to make an appointment for nail grind, but to simply call up to make sure they are not busy at the moment, otherwise can get in quickly. I think that's reasonable, fair enough AND smart! "Thanks, Good Dog!"

They offered medical wipes for my dog's injury and a complete re-grooming with a different groomer. I chose not to continue patronage, but the offer and continued open communication was very appreciated. Original Review: This is the first time I've been to this location and decided to go here due to the large number of good reviews. They were able to fit my appointment in very last minute, less than 24hrs notice, super friendly staff, and lots of merchandise. Also great cut options avaliable for someone new, trying to figure out what a new groomer can do with a new client. Asked them to brush his teeth and grind his nails, to which they accomplished (at least his breath smells better). With that said, I was told they would contact me 20 minutes before he's ready for pickup, they did not. They messaged me when he was done. No big deal. When I picked him up, immediately noticed the uneven cut job. As we're driving home, noticed A BUNCH of dirt left in his coat. Makes me question if they bathed him, and if they did, they didnt do a good thorough job. Also started to notice the uneven cut throughout his body, from his stomach where they left bunches of fur, to his back, which seemed as though they used two sizes for razors. They cut him (most likely by accident) but just reinforces my suspicion that they rushed through his entire "grooming". For the $100 package, counting $15 for dental/nail grinding, I can't say I'm not disappointed. Unfortunately, will not be coming back. Sincerely disappointed :( I will have to bathe him again, give him a complete haircut, and finish areas they didnt even attempt too, such as the hair under his nose going into his mouth.

Since he was a puppy, Rocky struggled with allergies and recurring skin issues that worsened over time, leading to multiple rounds of antibiotics that we later realized were hard on his gut. He was getting other side effects from the aftermath of the medications. Allie helped us take a more proactive approach, focusing on healing his gut and addressing the root causes instead of just managing symptoms. She always has thoughtful solutions and backup options to help manage flare-ups without immediately turning to antibiotics. I appreciate her insight so much during those times where we just want to give Rocky some relief. She's also educated us on raw feeding, ingredient quality, food processing, and supplements, which has been incredibly valuable. Allie is so thorough, caring, and genuinely invested in our dogs like they are her own. We trust her completely and are so grateful for the positive impact she's had on Rocky's health. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for not just a trainer, but a true partner in their dog's well-being.

Testimonial for Allie owner of Rogue K9 Academy - A Life-Changing Experience…read more My in person experience with Rogue K9 Academy has been nothing short of exceptional--truly rewarding and life-changing for both my girls, Kat and Athena, and for me. Both of my dogs are Belgian Malinois rescues: Kat was adopted at around 8 months old, and Athena came to me at just 8 weeks. Before finding Rogue K9, I worked with two different trainers who both immediately resorted to using e-collars--without any foundational training. Kat, who had already endured a difficult time in the shelter, became compliant but fearful. I was told more than once that because of her history, Kat wouldn't be able to achieve much and would be difficult to train. It was heartbreaking to see training become something she feared. Everything changed when I found Rogue K9 Academy. To my relief, we didn't start with an e-collar. Instead, I was introduced to the Foundation Style Dog Training (FSDT) program. This method allows training to focus on building a strong, trusting relationship first and gradually working up from basic obedience to advanced skills. Through this program, not only did my dogs gain confidence, but I learned how to understand them better--especially Kat. Slowly but surely, my girls began to flourish. It brings me overwhelming joy to see how much they've grown--not just in their skills but in their overall happiness and confidence. Perhaps the most incredible part of our journey is that Kat, once thought to be untrainable and "too damaged" to succeed, is now a trained protection dog. I am forever grateful to Rogue K9 Academy for their guidance that helped me build a deep, trusting bond with my girls that I never imagined possible.
