My son wanted food for his frogs, so we stopped by PetSmart. Let's start with this the place wasn't the cleanest. There was a piece of dog poop right in front of the door, and I'm just standing there thinking, what kind of owner lets their dog do that in front of a PetSmart? Like... bro, you're literally steps away from the cleanup aisle. Anyway, parking was easy nice little spot right up front so we went inside. We couldn't find the frog food at first, but we did find a SpongeBob pineapple house for his frog. My kid was hyped, so that was a win. I told him, "Hey, go ask the lady where the food's at," and he was shy at first but finally went proud dad moment. The employee was super nice and helped us find everything we needed. Then we started checking out the animals saw a few fish that looked like they were questioning their life choices, and a cat that gave me the same look I give my bills. My wife found one happy fish though, so balance restored. Before we left, we noticed a clearance rack of pet costumes for $4 each, so obviously, we bought a few for my son's dogs. I mean, how do you go wrong with $4 outfits for animals that already hate wearing clothes? We went home stocked up, frog happy, and everyone satisfied except that poor fish. read more

Took my lil babe to the groomers for the scoot solution only $12. My dog doesn't mind his ears mouth and feet being touched too much, he's only been to one other groomer. He seemed nervous at first but the tech pulled out their sweet voice and gave him all the scratches so he was happy to go back. He went slow and was so gentle with my Cricket girl. Will definitely be coming back and requesting him. While Cricket was getting groomed, I spent close to an hour trying to figure out a new dog food. For the last year and a half, I've been trying to find a brand my dog will actually go for. Justin, the manager, had a ton of helpful info when picking out what was best. He walked me through different brands and sure enough, I added in a little NaturalPet stew to my dogs food when we got home and she finished EVERYTHING. I took my 13 year-old miniature poodle that is blind and deaf to be groomed and trimmed when I picked him up they were still working on him after 4 hours. They cut his nose and his eyes and he bled for 2 days. It looks horrible. They did a horrible horrible job when I told them I was unhappy they said that they would give me 10% off next service, but I will never be going back. They cut his skin they just they really hurt him and I think it was really wrong. I have pictures to show it and I really don't think that anybody should go there. They're very unprofessional and did a rotten job. they charge me extra because they said that he was hard to handle. He's very mellow and quiet. I sat and watched them trim him, and he was not giving them a problem at all. He's very small and he's very gentle. $72 to give him a bath and a clip and it was poorly done and they hurt him. However, we had the unfortunate experience of being booked with Gaby P at this location. Not only was she rude, but very dismissive. We are completely heart broken. we applied for a cat and yes we have A 2 year old which is why we weren't allowed to adpot I was told it was there policy not to adopt to families with kids under 8 years old. We applied a week in advance called emailed and confirmed to be there 11am Saturday. We met the cat with our son everything was great for animal and child. I knew they were hesitant because of our son so I told them all the measures we had taken to ensure she was safe. I work from home the cat had its own room and we got all the supplies to give this animal a loving home. they didn't even have our application even though we called and emailed to confirm. We visited that cat every single day until Saturday waiting and hoping to bring her home. She didn't even have good interview questions she just looked at my little son with the nastiest look in her eyes and I knew we would not be leaving with the cat. I left crying and heart broken. We have the room and finances to bring an animal into a loving home and what is sad is the cat who they are in-trusted to take care of is the one who loses out. We applied for Jupiter the cat and I pray she receives a loving home. if this is the policy that you can't adopt to houses with young children then please make that known before someone gets their hopes up. We did research and asked all our friends and family about having a cat and Pam ruined our whole outlook on cat adoption. We really have nothing but good intentions and if they were so worried about adopting into a home with young kids make it well known! Do not bring your pets here for grooming. Our dog got nicked near his belly close to his genitals like a cut and his balls were reddish/irritated like the looks from shaving. At night, it turned pink to dark red. Upon picking up our dog, we were told about his accident and they didn't even call us to tell us what happened until we got there. We waited about another 2 hours by Banfield hospital to what they described as "not serious" to only find out hours later how awful our dog looked. He came out with a cone because they applied glue to his cut wound and he had to take prescribed medicine. From what was a 3-4 hour groom turned to 7-8 hours of tragedy and anxiety for us and our dog. He looked so tired and confused when he was returned to us. We are not coming back here. I am upset with the both parties' lack of communication, honesty, and seriousness of this matter. I understand that accidents happen but no manager came to deal with this matter with us and their sense of urgency or lack of remorse was upsetting. read more

We came into the store 3/8/2025 to adopt a cat called blue and we spoke to the adoption people that were there ( cats in need )and for some reason they gave us the most rude answers to our questions and seemed like they didn't even want us to touch or adopt there cats but for some reason they let other people grab the cat and ask questions about the cat idk if it was because we are people of color or what issues they had with us trying to adopt the cat but we were well fit to adopt such a loving beautiful cat , there also was a women that told us she had the same problems with the same people because of the color of her skin . Manager in duty Kyle said he was on vacation so he had no idea about it, and he said no one else had any idea about the litter box, i asked to have them look at the cameras so it could show me walking the cart back into the store and he said he couldn't do that. I just received a doodle puppy his second appointment was 4 weeks ago all went well. Went in the examination room with the vet took all of 5 min and out the door. Now todays visit a technician came out and began to explain what she was going to do said it will be about 15 mins to administer one shot and check his vitals I thought that's a long time but here we go I wait and wonder where's my dog . PetSmart register person noticed and said, here's a coupon book for your adoption dog. I was like how much? Then she said, since you adopted and there's proof, it is free actually. I couldn't believe it. The person whom I always sees often and have been helping me the most is Carmen. She is professional, kind, and super helpful. She made sure I used my coupons so I don't feel like I'm being ripped off. Thanks Carmen! Truly appreciate that kind of amazing Attitude and positive energy. I came here for majority things I needed for my furr babies and the workers are always friendly. They greeted you when you walked in, they came to helped while you were just checking stuff on the aisles. It is so great to see team that's so wonderful, welcoming, and helpful! Recently, I also registered my puppy for six weeks class. Heidi the trainer is amazing too! She learned about my puppy who's so afraid and also has one on one class with our other dog who has anxiety issues. Heidi studied them and recommended to have both of them in the same classrooms. Now both of them works so well together in class and learned very quickly at home too. It's definitely beneficial for me and my hubby. We love to come to PetSmart especially during class day. Easy to find what I need and check out was quick; very friendly staff and receipt was emailed after I gave my phone number(club ID tied in). This is wonderful b/c I can check online for all previous orders if needed. I once used it to feature to return a tank water heater which broken within 1 month of normal use. Found the receipt this way and hassle free return/credit for a better model. I recommend signing up not only to get points for future discount but also keep track of all your orders. some items(new and researching) I would prefer shopping in person so pets stuff, I like to see and compare in person vs purchase online when it's not big ticket item. read more

Petsmart Rancho Cucamonga Groomer won't take a legitimate hand written rabies vaccine certificate and insisted on a computer printout. (pic attached with details blacked out) When signing up, they said a picture of the rabies cert would be fine. They said nothing about the magic of it being printed out from a computer as opposed to hand written by my vet until I showed up with my dog on a 100 degree day. After citing this "policy" the poor clerk offered to call my old school vet for a verbal confirmation (which does no good at 3 pm on a Saturday and I could have given them anyone's number.) Sheesh. Their web posted policies only state "Proof of rabies vaccination in the form of paperwork is required." https://services.petsmart.com/content/grooming-faq My vet gave me a hand filled, rabies certificate. It is "paperwork"! So, I've barely shown up and they believe me to be dishonest?! Get real and don't waste my time. The grooming may have been good but they won't let you in the door if your vet uses a perfectly legit means of rabies documentation. Worst, my door dog has to continue to suffer through this heat. I have always enjoyed going to PetSmart, especially with my dogs. I could go crazy over the holidays with all the costumes and toys. I like how they offer special occasion pet pictures with Santa or Halloween themes. The Rancho Cucamonga store has a big selection of products and is well organized. They hold adoption clinics for dogs and cats on the weekends. I adopted my pug Sunny from one of these events. PetSmart is a little pricy but if you desire it they most likely have it. They also have sales and coupons to help offset the sticker price. read more

My dog needed her nails trimmed and a sanity cut. We opted for PetSmart because 1. we took her here once and she was very well taken care of. no issues. 2. we needed something last minute. This time is seeming to have been a disaster by the day. She had a very bad allergic reaction to whatever was used. We called to get it sorted out and asked what they had used so we can help our dog feel better. Her eyes were very red, irritated and watering thick goop. She was so itchy she constantly would scratch and rub on the ground. They never ended up telling us what they used but instead offered to book a bath and brush that WE had to pay for. When you pull up just call the number advertised at the curbside, and someone will bring it right up to you. If there is something that they couldn't fulfill they just refund you the money directly onto the method of payment you used. They are also open inside, with a lot of little reminders to please keep your distance from other patrons. It's the same thing when you wait in line, there are stickers on the floor to guide you of where a safe distance might be. I was a little skeptical about going into stores, but after visiting Petsmart I felt comfortable knowing that I was able to do my shopping at a safe distance. read more
