Ok so a few pros and cons: I was able to get a same day apt Staff super friendly Office was clean and no wait time once I got there. Con: Its upstairs- maybe there is an elevator? I didn't see one. Best ask about pricing $45 for a simple nail trim. I have never paid more than $12. They charge a $25 tech fee which still made the nails $20. I would of never imagined a nail clipping with no exam would cost so much. Even my pet insurance denied the reimbursement as excessive. read more

Just a few days after posting my glowing review, my dog got very sick. I will spare you the gory details and let you know that the Palm Springs Animal Shelter treated him the same day. I wish I could say the same for Pet Lux. I called in the morning (on a Friday) very concerned and upset trying to get help for my pup. The person who I spoke with on the phone was dismissive and unprofessional which only increased my anxiety. I asked if I could speak to one if the Docs or a Tech and she declined my request. She told me she would "let them know" and someone would call me back on Monday. BTW, it is now 6:15 pm Monday evening and guess who I haven't heard from all day!?! read more

I put down $1,000 but didn't question it as much as I should have, trusting that this was going toward the surgery for my older dog. If you're considering a procedure here, my advice is to get a second opinion and insist on having every cost and policy spelled out clearly in writing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Pet Lux Inc. due to the severe lack of communication and transparency surrounding both medical and financial decisions. While it might not be mandatory, it is respectful and professional for a clinic to direct a surprised and unexpecting client to review the information provided and reconnect with the vet when they feel confident about moving forward with costly or potentially life-threatening procedures. Without this simple step of providing necessary information and time to decide, I felt preyed upon and profiled. It seemed they recognized I would pay anything for my dog and used that emotional leverage to their advantage. As professionals, they should remain clear of such conduct by offering clients the details and space they need before pushing them into an expensive and urgent process. UPDATEI stand firm by my original review. Your desperate attempt to discredit my genuine, firsthand experience by claiming I'm "not a client" only exposes your weak defense and desperate corporate spin. I was referred to PET LUX by the owner, Claire, of the tremendously wonderful fun, inspiring local Cat Cafe, FRISKY BUSINESS. I'm so glad to have been steered over here as I have had great experiences over the course of approximately six weeks wherein I shuttled in each of my four cats for checkups and overall exams including blood work. The fact that I booked my next beloved kitty immediately after the first, then the next and then the next should say everything that needs to be said. Easily located in the heart of DTPA on Tahquitz just off of Sunrise. In Palm Springs in particular I feel it is important to note when you are at a business where you feel seen as a member of the LGBTQ+ even if in the most subtle of ways. For me it was the beautifully framed, signed portraits of The Queen Of Pop herself, MADONNA, in the exam room. It doesn't hurt that the lead Dr is a thicc built, very friendly, handsome Silver Daddy type. Now whether he is a member of that community is pointless but that he knows how many of us have pets means he knows his audience and makes it a pleasure letting us know he knows us, sees us and considers himself a part of our community.
