My dog is very sensitive. She is deaf and almost 100% blind she cries because she is very arthritic. They are so gentle with her and She does not whine or complain and lets them work on her. Every time I go to pick her up, she has the biggest smile on her face and she looks amazing. They do the best work.!!! I use Ana she is amazing. The prices are very reasonable. First time going here with my long haired Aussie. He badly needed shaping up and she did a GREAT job. I didn't want a lot taken off, just enough to take the scraggliness away. I've heard horror stories of people taking their Aussies to groomers with instructions for just a trim and they come back to pick up their dogs and they are shaved so I was a little nervous trying a new place. No worries at this place. She followed directions perfectly. Unfortunately a thunderstorm rolled through during Ruger's visit and he gets terrified so she contacted me and said it would take a little longer because she was letting him settle down a bit before coming back to him. My 2 Standard Poodles had their first appointments this week and came home beautiful, perhaps the best groom they ever had and I am very happy. I try avoiding the owner as much as possible, was told he's not around in the afternoon so that's when I made appointment. Unfortunately when I came to pick up my little guy at 5pm he was there and first thing he said to me was, "How old is Teddy and does he have a heart condition"? MY heart sank and when I asked him, why would you ask me something like that? I was totally ignored. We are so happy with our experience with Salty Dog Saloon Pet Grooming!! We had been desperately trying to get our dogs groomed since before thanksgiving with other local Lake Worth Beach groomers: One was so unprofessional- continually changing our appointment time and acting strange when we did show up. The dogs were freaked out too! Another one took two weeks to actually get on the phone for an appointment and still couldn't get us in for until a week later. The third had actually relocated and wasn't nearby anymore but offered to pick up and drop off our dogs. We weren't comfortable with that option. We have two chows that needed professional service and it was no where to be found! Finally, a card was placed on our car on a Sunday at the beach by Salty Dog Grooming. I called but didn't leave a message. I figured I'd call Monday at 9 am when they opened. We drove by the location to scope it out after the beach - it wasn't far and it was a cute little house on Federal. The next morning (before they even opened) they called ME back!!! They said they could get us in first thing that day!!!! My husband and daughter dropped off the dogs. My young chow puppy doesn't like strangers or new places but he happily went into the cute, clean grooming business and ran around happily with his older sister. He was actually happy to be there!! The girls that worked there were very friendly, too! A couple hours later we picked up two clean, fluffy, happy dogs!! They were not over priced and they did the best grooming job on our chows!! I'm so happy to have found the perfect Florida groomer for our time down in Lake Worth Beach!! I wish they would open up shop in Holly Michigan for our summers!!! read more

I took my dog to Salty Dog in Lake Worth Beach and I'm happy to say, the girls that greeted me were lovely and cuddled my puppy immediately. The groomer asked me for specifics on what I wanted for my Yorkie and followed what I wanted perfectly. My puppy is 9 months old and the last 2 times she had grooming, she came back looking like a chihuahua (which are very cute in their own right but she's not one) and I was not happy and very scared to have her groomed again. She also came back very happy and not exhausted from being fearful and she's a very introverted dog so that's happened before.
