They pretty much just cut your dog's hair how ever they want. Previously they cut my dog's neck which I never said anything about because I wasn't sure if it was them. This will be the last time I bring my dog to this place. Today they had my dog there for 3 hours. I went there to check on my dog to find out they did not even start her. When they seen me come in they started grooming my dog , but rushed the entire process. My dog didn't smell like she was clean nor does she look clean and they rushed cutting her hair and she is very uneven. I will never bring my dog back here again. Customer service is horrible as well.

After searching on Yelp I came across Starbarks and finally found a winner. Believe in their reviews--they know what they're doing! I I called to try to get my dog in the same day but they were already booked so I took an appt for a few days later. They seem to be against overbooking which is good. Their shop is modest but clean. The owner/groomer is kind and takes their time with you. When I had trouble explaining the type of cut I wanted, they pulled up a massive photo library of photos of dog they groomed on their computer and helped me to narrow it down. They told me it would take an hour to an hour and a half to complete, but within an hour they sent a text and told me my little boy was ready! So they are very efficient. When I got him he was groomed EXACTLY like how I wanted and pictured in my head. I was so nervous they would only half listen to my request like other groomers but they did every-single-thing I asked. My dog is also very friendly but fearful of many things, so I was scared they would have trouble with him. Thankfully they knew how to handle him and were tender from the very beginning. Generally speaking on my dog's style, he got a puppy cut with ears and tail kept long, and shaped/tapered. Not only did everything come out fantastic but their prices are SO much better than any of the other groomers in the area and MUCH closer to my house. THAT'S the type of experience I expect and appreciate! I will only be coming here for now on for my dog. Thank you Starbarks!

I have been using this place about twice a year for the past several years. My dog is now 6 years…read moreold, and during that entire time, I have never gone anywhere else. Even when my dog had minor injuries, such as small cuts on the ears, I chose to overlook them and simply asked the staff to be more careful. When the coat was cut too short or the face grooming was uneven, I still tried to be understanding. Depending on the groomer, there were also times when my dog came back looking very nice. Most of the time, even if I wasn't fully satisfied, I let it go because the location is close to my home and I only visit two or three times a year. However, today I had a very unpleasant experience. I was told that my dog had to be held by two people for a full three hours, and because it had been six months since the last visit, they had no choice but to cut the coat very short. This was especially upsetting because I clearly asked them not to cut the hair too short. If it was absolutely necessary, they should have contacted me first to explain the situation and ask for my consent. Also, if the grooming required extra time and effort, they should have informed me in advance about any additional charges. I would have been willing to pay more. On top of that, my dog had a wound on the tail, and I was told it was from a previous injury. While that may be possible, it could also have been aggravated during grooming. What upset me the most was not just the situation itself, but the attitude of the staff. I did not feel this angry even when my dog had injuries on both ears in the past. Even when the coat was shaved too short before, I would not have been this upset if they had simply communicated with me beforehand. What I find even more confusing is that in the past, even when my dog's coat was severely matted, they managed to carefully detangle it and groom my dog into a full and beautiful style. This time, I had even brushed my dog beforehand, yet they still shaved the coat without consulting me. I do not understand why it was possible before but not this time. As a result, I will no longer use this place, and I will not recommend it to others. I am not someone who usually leaves reviews, whether complaints or compliments, but I sincerely hope that others do not have to go through the same experience I had here.

They gave us extra tools like de-shedding brushes and even an ear cover for our dog who we mentioned is scared of the blow drier. They checked on us throughout and offered to help.
