Came in for the self serve dog wash. We had a member coupon so we just walked in. No reservations required. Pros: The wash room is a separate room. There are 2 metal tubs. They provide aprons, lots of towels and cleaning soap and conditioner. Staff was friendly. Cons: The room itself was very wet. The floor has about an inch of water. The tub looked like it had not been cleaned in months. The water hoses were old and couldn't even reach my dog. read more

Such a FAN a huge one of Pet Supplies Plus. This store fits all needs for my GoldenDoodle. He loves the Food and anything that I get from here. I would tell the BRAND but I do not want to make any reader Biased (one way or another). What I will say is while I have no pictures to Post while at the store (per se). I do know that the team at this store and possibly the one in STERLING definitely knows when we are there on a visit. All are so kind and helpful. Christine the manager was especially helpful and accommodating for my needs and understood I needed to wash my Labrador alone, even though there are 2 wash stations. They have at least 4 different types of soap to use, plenty of towels, air dryer and the choice between high or low wash stations. Even though there is a PSP in Sterling, where I live, I come to Ashburn because of the personnel and accommodations. Great job!! read more

My cat recently died and I tried to return an unopened pack of Breeze litter pads. They would not take them back without the receipt - which I didn't have as I was not planning to return this item. They would only give me a gift card but I have no other pets so a gift card is not useful to me. It is possible to return an item without a receipt - plenty of businesses do this. Pet Supplies Plus just proves they only care about getting every last dollar from people. I have been a customer for many years as well as a rewards member - although I never understood the rewards program since I never got any sort of discount on anything in all the years I have gone there. In any case, I would not recommend this business to anyone and if I do get another pet, I won't be shopping at Pet Supplies Plus. read more

A year or so ago, one of our dogs was having a number of issues that were causing him discomfort and sending us to the vet. After trying different things, we started to experiment with different foods. We weren't using a cheap food but we came in and spoke with some of the staff at the Ashburn Pet Supplies Plus and they helped us selecting something that might help him. After trying a couple of new brands, we settled on Orijen and Acana and haven't had any of the same problems since. He's a happy and healthy boy again because of quality brands of dog food that can't be purchased at the other major pet store retailers. Pet Supplies Plus brings the quality pet food options without the boutique pet store prices. They're staff is kind, patient, and helpful. This is the only pet store I buy from. They have a great selection of dog and cat food. The employees are very knowledgeable about which foods might work best for my three dogs and cat. Despite their only selling Betta fish, I was pleasantly surprised by their aquatic life section. All of the employees seem young, but they're all very polite and helpful. I love coming to the Pet SUpplies Plus in Ashburn ! The staff is very kind and helpful. The self wash area is clean and I love the shampoo/conditioner selection they provide. The powerful blow dryers save me countless time then if I was to do it at home. My puppy is a chow chow and if you have a dog with fluffly/long hair , you know how much time is needed to get the coat fully dried. I truly recommend this store!! read more

I hope I'm leaving a five star review (last one is blacked out?) for this wonderful store! My daughter started buying a dog food for her dog that my dog can actually eat and likes. Problem is it's very difficult to find, she buys it online but she lives an hour away and I don't like to shop online if I can support a local store, (not mention all the counterfeit foods out there) I wanted to get a 15lb bag of Fromm Gold small breed, the only dry food my little 15yr old, one tooth, yorkie can and will eat. The store only had 5 lb bags which are $15, the 15lb retails for $32. The man who helped me was fantastic, he sold me three 5lbs for the 15lb price which was a huge savings for me plus he managed to get the stores $5 off coupon to go through. This doesn't happened at most stores these days, it may seem like a little thing but it was huge for me. Not sure how long it will take her to go through these bags, it's for her snacking but I'll definatley be back to Pets Supplies Plus! read more

Thanks to my fellow yelpers who didn't steer me wrong. We took our dog and my parents dog to the do it yourself wash area. They have a area in the back of the store. You'll need to check in at the register so they can turn the water on. On of the wash bays is a bit higher for smaller dogs and one is a bit lower for smaller pups. They have all of the supplies you need so you just need to bring your dog and money to pay. The store is pretty big and has a wide selection of items too. The staff was nice and very friendly. This place is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! The prices of dog food is very fair compares to other pet stores and the staffs are super nice. I go here almost once a week to pick up items for my pup with their weekly coupons. Just have to subscrib them on Instagram and there's a code you can use during check-up. I had trouble finding the right food for my Pitt ~ I must have looked confused ~as every sales associate that noticed me asked if I needed help. Finally Susan the stores manager noticed me and literally spent 30 mins patiently assisting me. Finally with her help I loaded the cart and headed to checkout. That's where I met sales associate Masha who then noticed right away that I was not certain of my selection and immediately offered to cruse the isles once more with me , where we spent an additional 30 mins going over all of the questions and concerns I had for Susan and just like Susan ,Masha was equally as patient with me.
