We've been going here for 8 years for dog grooming. Love our groomer Allison. She's always consistent with my Bichon's cut and he looks like a show dog each and every time. We also love the staff and the owner, Teresa. She listens to my concerns about my dog's health and gives very helpful advice. They also take note if every change my dog needs as he ages. So happy that they opened a store of goodies and dog essentials next door.

I'm supervisor, let me know when you need me.

Our dog Allie since adopted has been going to Belly Rubs. They were outstanding in handling her through her first couple of visits to get her used to the process. Gradually she was able to be muzzle-less as she became comfortable with her care plan. Allie loves her spa days now! She is spoiled and has to have Leah take care of her and give her hugs and cuddles - all part of the care plan when she comes to get a proper bath and nail trimming. We couldn't go anywhere else to meet our pup's needs.

I just picked up my Shih Tzus from Belly Rubs in Ashburn. They look awesome. Brought them in at 9:00 and they were both done by 10:20! The process was easy and efficient. I got an appointment for them in the same week. Will be bringing my Golden Retriever here now as well. Thanks Denys and Jerber! Highly recommend.

I tried this place twice and should have stopped after the first try. They groomed my shi-tzu and he was left with mysteriously shaven paws - they literally shaved almost all the hair off each knuckle of his front paws! I questioned it at the time and was told it was standard but they would make note not to do it again and schedule him with a different groomer. I went ahead and made an appointment for "next time" but later canceled it after discovering a small "puncture wound" (the vet's words) on top of the knuckle of one paw. I noticed him licking his paw, and when it began bleeding I immediately took him to an emergency room. I called afterwards and canceled his next appointment. They never even asked me why or offered to reschedule. I suspect because they know what they did.

I brought my Bernedoodle, Hattie Moon into Belly Rubs, about one month ago. I was have her groomed after we moved here from the West Coast- we were way behind in her grooming schedule! She needed some serious care. Here harness had left her matted, and many rain storms. Her cut is somewhat complicated because her legs are so long (More Poodle than Berner) so, there are about four different lengths she needs, here and there, to make her look more even. Her groomer back West sent great notes, as to how she had cut and how she cared for Hattie since she was 18 weeks old! Belly Rubs read them carefully, and asked me a few questions. And they got started. When I came back, Hattie looked great, and was so relaxed! Every instruction was followed to a T.! We are do to go back in, and we are both excited to do so! I highly recommend Belly Rubs!

We have been clients for a few years now. They offer good business hours, ample parking, staff is courteous and friendly, the grooming itself is generally good (fluffy and smell SO good) and much more affordable than mobile grooming. We had a few hiccups early on, but Teresa (the owner) is very responsive and addresses concerns in a timely manner. Only constructive feedback would be I wished they would note somewhere in their system of special needs/guidance for our boys, so we don't have to remind them each time we are there. Aside from that, overall, we are happy with their service and recommend making appointments early because they book up very quickly.

Earlier this week I called to make an appointment for my puppy Jack Jack. I was able to get in the next day for a 130 appointment. Upon entering I was greeted by multiple associates and there wasn't a wait. After I got Jack Jack checked in I was offered an upgraded package which included a bandanna and a bag of treats. I opted in since Jack Jack hasn't been to the groomer in a while. They took him to the back to see if the length I was interested in was appropriate and would work and to make sure he didn't have any matted sections . She came back out and let me know that only two areas looked to be matted. I left and about an hour and a half later I got a call that he was ready. When I got back I picked up my handsome cowboy He does have 2 areas were he looks like he was cut too close but I know Jack Jack likes to squirm I paid about $100 in total and unfortunately you can't add a tip. Cash only tips I never carry cash but will remember for next time. My little man looks so handsome When leaving there was a lil confusion because I was waiting for his treats and I didn't know they are the packaged ones they sell. Totally impressed!

She walked out w/ this cool bandana! I love it!

When i first started coming here, the owner was great at cutting my poodles' hair. Ever since she left, the new groomers have been not so great. HOWEVER, despite the inconsistency, they are willing to accommodate and learn to cut my poodles' hair the way I like it. I have tried going to other places in NOVA, 6 different groomers to be exact. Everywhere else is worse and they don't know how to cut a standard poodle's hair. I even went to the other Ashburn Belmont Chase Woof Gang location and they gave my dog an ear infection (very untrained groomers there)! I started coming here when my poodles were puppies and because of the owner back then, my dogs dont fear going to the groomers. I have started coming back here now with my nine year old poodles and I think I will not look for other groomers anymore.

For anyone who understands how damaging that is to a double-coated breed, you know how serious this is. To make things worse, they returned our dog not even properly dried and now she's developing hot spots as a result. When we tried to call and ask what happened, the owner, Felipe, took zero accountability, mocked us, and then hung up the phone. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. This place clearly does not care about your pet's health or well-being. If you have a double-coated breed, or honestly any dog you care about, stay far away from this groomer. They are reckless, disrespectful, and completely incompetent.

Splash N Tails is that! Actually, they aren't just good, they're AMAZING! So good, that one of my cats hisses at the other because they've practically "cleaned his smell off." Takes him about a week to be okay with his brother again. A real hoot! When they show up, they politely knock, have polite conversation, take your kitties to their trucks, and return them very quickly after their service is complete. For my tuxedo cat, I just get his nails clipped, ears cleaned, a quick brush down, and he comes back. For my medium haired domestic, he gets the works! Every booking, every pet, every time: more signatures and "agreements" than a mortgage closing. Somewhere there's a lawyer who's never met a dog and decided the real threat to this business is the guy who's paid them loyally for three years. You carefully fill out the entire grooming form online, pick every option -- then show up and they shove a paper copy across the counter to sign the exact same thing again. And after all that paperwork, they still claim they don't have the phone number they've had on file for three years and called me on before. Let's put this in perspective. I can order dinner to my door in two taps -- Reorder, Apple Pay, done. A stranger drives hot food across town on the strength of my thumbprint. But dropping off dogs these people have known for three years apparently requires a signing ceremony and a fresh liability waiver every single visit. In 2026, that's not caution. That's a business that's forgotten how to trust its own customers. And then there's the membership -- the crown jewel of contempt. They took a system that worked and actively torched it. Gone are the daycare credit packs: fair, flexible, buy-what-you-need, the way a business treats people it respects. In their place, a pricier monthly "membership" that auto-drafts your card whether your dog walks through the door or not, with no rollover for the days you paid for and never used. Read that again: you pay, they keep it, your dog gets nothing, and they call it a perk. It's not a membership -- it's a standing withdrawal from your bank account with a bow on it. It punishes the exact people who kept this place in business: the regulars whose lives don't run on a fixed weekly schedule. Some months my dogs come once, some months five times, because that's how actual life works -- and this program is built to make sure I lose either way. It doesn't serve pets. It doesn't serve owners. It serves a spreadsheet, and it treats every loyal customer as a recurring charge to be maximized rather than a person to be valued. It is, top to bottom, the most openly hostile "loyalty" scheme I've ever been asked to fund. When customers spend more time signing forms and fighting your billing than petting their dogs, you're not a pet resort -- you're a law firm with a kennel attached. Take your pets somewhere that still remembers what the word "customer" means.

There have been several changes implemented due to new ownership: 1) They no longer have cage free grooming and they put our dogs into kennels while they wait for us to pick them back up 2) Prices have gone up about 2-3 times due to the rise of inflation which is understandable but wanted to share to other dog owners for awareness 3) They use an assembly line process for grooming which is faster so our large dogs are typically in and out within ~2 hours Although our doodles typically came out well groomed for the most part, they both began to dread coming in and felt more anxious than usual, which wasn't a good sign to us. Additionally, the new front desk staff (male) could work on his customer service etiquette as he has came off as condescending multiple times to both myself and my husband regarding the care of our dogs. Our other friends who also brought their dogs here have shared similar sentiments. This is not their fault, but the location can be challenging to get to during traffic hours (they close at 4PM Monday through Saturday) since it's right on 50 and a lot of cars are going out west.

I moved away to NY for 6 months and when I came back I went straight to the same groomers my Pup had been to since he was a puppy. I called to make my usual appointment and was asked To resubmit veterinary information again in a rude manner. Then when I arrived I was greeted by a new face at the desk. A man who said he was hired to do everything the right way unlike "before". Yet when I Asked if they were under new Ownership the man said, "NO" Here are my following reasons for their 1 Star- 1. New ownership Yet the man at front desk outright told Me ownership did not change. WHY LIE About the switch? 2. Price- increased and they even charged me. Handling fee bc they said my Dog was unmanageable, yet, the previous owners LOVED HIM. 3.customer service- new guy upfront-He was unprofessional and unpleasant. I shouldn't have left my dog especially because I felt Something was off with this man's energy. But I summed it up to maybe he was having an Off" Day. He was just rude and unkind, unlike previous owners. He would go on and on about how he was there from out of state bc his mom was unwell so I also felt bad for him, but I was also on a tight schedule. I just found this to be extremely unprofessional. Get this- I tried something new with my pup for the first time and had his tail Colored ( safely of course bc this is practically my Son). The man comments- he's not a fan of Color but to each their own. That owners who dye their dogs should do their research on how bad it is for their pets... uh really? I just ignored his unwarranted opinion but was quite upset by it. 4. going to trust myself and my pups initial reaction when picking him up. He use to love Going to the groomers and now he's terrified. 5. I paid extra for teeth cleaning which I could tell was not done and they did not trim his dewclaws which was previously always cut. At pick up, even though I was trying to get out of there as much as my dog was, the man proceeded to lecture me about taking care of my dog at home, so that he is not so matted, and that is why they had to shave him all the way at this point, I was so traumatized I just wanted to get the heck out of there, so I just paid and left as unhappy as my pup was. Oh and before I could finish paying the man asked if I was going to tip bc it is customary... really!?! I'm in the service industry I'm well aware... Never going Back - sad about the changes!
