Weber's Pet Supermarket has 3 locations in the DMV. All locations have outstanding staff and quite an extensive inventory. This family owned business also supports rescue by holding adoption events, collecting donations for various rescues, and also donating to rescues. It's a win-win for all who know them. We recently stopped by this Chantilly location. Parking is convenient either in front of the building or around the corner. They face busy Route 50. The warehouse is huge and hosts the adoption events inside the back of the warehouse. There's plenty of room for dogs and handlers. They carry all sorts of dog toys and food. Their pricing is very competitive to even Amazon, so save the shipping/time and just stop by to buy local! P.S. If you are in the Reston/Herndon location, they have a store in the Glory Days strip mall. That location has an amazing self-serve dog wash. read more

This place is great if you like to buy food in bulk or for multiple pets. I have a hard time getting more than one or two cases of our canned foods at a time at PetCo (which is a lot closer, with later hours), so once a month or so I make sure to get here before they close, and leave with 4-6 cases of canned food. They're always well-stocked in Wellness (and everything else, it appears, but I'm only shopping for Wellness), and it's nice to be able to get cases of the minced/sliced/cubed varieties in addition to the paté. Cases are cheaper than at PetCo, too. Staff are always great, and eager to load up your car for you (which is weird at first, but really nice since the shopping cart doesn't make it outside very well). It does have a warehouse-feel rather than a regular pet store feel, but in a way it *is* a warehouse of pet food. read more

During my visit with my sister in Chantilly, both she and I discussed the diet of her cats. She wanted a high-quality diet for them, but to her dismay the feline crowd is has a delicate palate. I searched on the internet for a store that carried Merrick's Before Grain canned food, which is essentially minced meat in can. I saw that Weber's Pet Supermarket was close by and carried this food. However, the address showed that it was in an industrial plaza, which made me question this location's existence (there's also a Weber's in Fairfax ). Driving past on rt. 50, my sister spotted it and we headed into the storefront (it faces rt. 50). At first this store looked like a small shoppe with just a few shelves of pet-related accoutrements. However there's a warehouse type of setup in the back which you can journey through a doorway in the rear. Here we found rows of high quality food like Wellness, Innova, Evo, Pinnacle, Merrick, etc. No Science Diet, Eukanuba or Purina here. They also have a small section for birds and small animals that have foods such as Roudybush and Regal (or Oxbow). We snatched a few cans of Merrick's Before Grain canned cat food. and had a gander around. We also took note of the wild bird feeder/bird food section which even has de-hulled sunflower seeds. On checkout the staff at the counter was very friendly and informative. They asked us what food the cats were on. We told them Wellness Complete and then spoke of the canned food dilemma. One cat loves patte and the other loves chunks, The gent. and lady at the counter seemed to understand this dilemma of finding a "one size fits all" food with fickle cats and told us of the new Wellness Pouches. They also followed up with the Before Grain, since it's just canned cooked meat, it should be supplemented with a food that has the vitamins and taurine. Over all it's very convenient if you're in the Chantilly area. The staff is helpful and the price is comparable to PetCo. They have a great selection of natural/holistic foods allergen specific foods for your canine or feline friend. read more

I've been to lots of pet stores, Weber's in Chantilly, VA is one of, if not, the best mammals' pet store! The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. My first visit I strolled around without being bothered, then when I started wondering Tara offered to help and we talked past the store's closing. She did not mind, nor did the man up front. I got great insights and advice, two bags of the Regal Dog Food (she pulled from the back) I came for AND a few other Christmas stocking stuffers for my newly adopted shelter rescue, Hallie! The employees are super helpful and they have a rewards system! They have a huge selections of food, toys, treats, leashes, and basically anything you can think of that you would need for your pets. First time I went in the man behind the counter helped me look up the most similar food to the one I needed, and gave me some great recommendations. This place carries healthy pet food, not the commercial variety. I purchased cat food for my feline babies and I have been extremely satisfied. When I have purchased commercial hard cat food, the cats regurgitate the food all over the house. Since I have been purchasing a healthy alternative from Weber's the regurgitation of cat food has stopped. I highly recommend that you visit and look through the healthy alternatives for pet food. read more

I am a loyal Weber's customer, even though Petco is a little more convenient for me and the food I buy my cat (Merrick's) costs the same at both stores. I like to support independent businesses, and I love the staff at Weber's. They are very friendly and helpful and they know a lot about their products. They carry a lot of high-quality foods and the prices are usually cheaper than at other pet stores. One time they brought an item from the Fairfax store to the Chantilly store for me- even though they could have just told me to drive to Fairfax myself. No, it doesn't look like much from the outside. It's part of the office,warehouse row at the intersection of 50 and Lee Road (facing 50). Inside, it's basically a warehouse with a tiny retail section up front. But that warehouse includes tons of high-quality pet food, with better prices than you'll find at a PetSmart (and I'm not a PetSmart hater). Plus, the staff is knowledgable and friendly. Been going here for 3 plus years. They have a great selection of quality food, toys, meds, care products for your pet. We have a large dog and pick up her food here after doing lots of research on what kind of food to get and they stocked it. This is a nice place to come in and do business. I was extremely impressed while picking up the dog food that the person working there had the presence of mind to ask me some questions about how much I feed my dog because we were picking up food less often than what she would expect. As it turns out, she was correct, we had been underfeeding our dog and as a result of the change in diet, food isn't mysteriously missing from the counter anymore, go figure! I have a very picky eater and I also want her eating a high quality food. The staff here will return any food my dog won't eat and are very friendly about it. They have worked with me in finding a food that will work for her. That really means a lot to me, I just want the best for my pet and they help lessen the stress.
