What a great new pet store in the Kings Farm Market plaza. The owner Anita Kostadinova is so nice and informative. They have plenty of very healthy food and treats for your dog or cat . Our granddogs love to visit when we walk over and have a few samples. Have to spoil our grands (fur baby). We picked up some items to bring home to our baby at home as well.

My dog happily wagging his tail to his treat haul.

When Loyal Companion closed, I was wondering how I was going to get my dog's "specialty" (aka…read morenon-Petsmart/Petco) dog food and needs. Not only does it have a Banfield in the shopping center, but there's also eats and Trader Joe's you can pit stop at. This place is so convenient and I was able to walk in, get what I need, and leave. The employee was very friendly and helpful. The shelves were excessively overflowing and overwhelming. I'll def be back, thank you!

Scared the spirit right out of me! The DX was a best guess and could NOT be verified by the Dr unless we went to neurologist bc as all his labs came back normal & the Vet didn't witness the episodes. They were happening after his b-fast & dinner & although the Vet INSISTED on Seizure meds & stated (with an attitude) that "food will NOT make a difference", I couldn't help but think that the food change could be bad & affecting him. I also read that low Taurine can cause the same issues in cats that mine was experiencing so I popped in this store, nervous & stressed, and the gent who offered to help me on a Monday morning, spent a great deal of time understanding what was going on, listening to my concerns with compassion & understanding, while being clear to state that he's not a Vet, he shared that Taurine comes from organ meat. I was ready to buy everything but he suggested to only make 1 change at a time to know if it's effective. He made a recommendation on food & treats w/organ meat and suggested to monitor & if all goes well, come back for a 2nd visit once we know the changes are effective to consider adding CBD, a multi supplement and wet food. The changes WORKED!! This guy KNEW their products & ingredients (said he worked in another locally run store for 9yrs I think), understands animals, & aren't going to oversell you because they truly care!

The brands stocked are reputable and not priced unreasonably for the consistent high quality that you will be receiving with many of these items. I would rather buy a cat bowl from a place with pet health in mind, which will account for the needs of the cat, rather than some random piece of plastic/potential lead infected made in China crap that may give my cat acne or make them sick. Your pet's health is worth it. On one occasion I entered the store, I overheard a clerk mention they weren't pleased with how a company responded to a cat getting sick to their product; so they removed it from their shelves. To me, this clearly shows they care about the well-being of the customers' pets! The food here ranges to accommodate all manner of diets. Raw/cooked, low processed, small-batch, locally/domestically owned business - high protein, low carb dry kibble - or a myriad of wet can varieties and brands to pick from. They sometimes provide free samples, which helps in trying new items for your furry friends when the price point can be steep.
