My first visit I bought a gourami and some plants which were half the price of what I would spend at a chain store. He took the time to talk to me about where his fish come from and his history, which is fascinating! I told him my tank dimensions and he gave me lots of options to stock my tank. My gourami is still swimming happily with his new plants today. My second visit I bought a few tetras and an African dwarf frog (which was a dream pet for me!) and I also got some more plants... Unfortunately I had an issue with my tanks nitrate levels and my tetras weren't doing too hot. I called him immediately to ask for advice and he gave me great advice that ended up saving my tetras. He really cares about what he does and his customers. He carries all ranges of fish, saltwater, freshwater, giant and tiny. Even stingrays and eels. All of his fish are quarantined prior to arriving in his store, so his fish are healthy and taken care of. He has many plants and will accommodate special requests for you. Not to mention, but his prices are unbeatable for the quality. If you are a seasoned aquarist or just looking for a new hobby, please check out this place and speak to Paul!

When I went to check out, the item rang up full price. The associate Kassidy tried to help but couldn't adjust it, so she called the manager, Isaac. That's where things went completely downhill. Isaac walked up to the register already curt and dismissive. After showing him the clearly posted BOGO signage, he still refused to honor the sale, saying corporate ends promotions in the system 15 minutes before closing. The signs in the store did NOT reflect that, and his tone made it clear he had no interest in helping or even communicating respectfully. His mannerisms, professionalism, and overall attitude were unacceptable. The customers behind me even commented on how rude the interaction was. I ended up purchasing Fromm dog food as well, but I returned my entire purchase. After this experience, I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone. As a pet owner, I expect basic respect and accurate advertising. Our hard-earned money shouldn't be taken lightly, and this location clearly doesn't value its customers. Isaac should not be in a leadership role if this is how he treats people. This was enough to lose my business permanently.

When I stopped in just before Thanksgiving, they had started to put out a few Christmas items but also still had year round toys. They also had a treat bar with various types of gnawers like duck feet, turkey necks, and more. I wish there was more info provided about the gnawers, like where they came from and their benefits (i.e. helps with tartar build up, freshens breathe, helps with teething pups, helps with shiny coat, etc.) and also that they had more of a selection of grooming items like shampoos, brushes, and nail trimmers. Furthermore, the staff NEEDS to be more engaging with their customers/potential customers. When I was in the store with my friend, there was two other people also browsing and four employees behind the register. Not ONE came up to me or the other shoppers the entire time I was in there; instead they kept chitchatting amongst themselves. I ended up getting the toy in the picture along with two jingle collars and a stuffed toy, but if there had been any guidance from the employees about the gnawers, I probably would've picked up some of those too. Additionally, pricing wasn't super clear on the toys. Not every all the toys in the bin or display had a price sticker, so you either took a chance and brought it to the register or had to dig for a hot second to find the price sticker.
