My roommate's dog got hurt by a groomer, and when we spoke to him about it, he tried to play it off as something we might have done. He lied about calling back when the check came in and when we got it and requested that the groomer not work on either of our dogs, he commented about us needing to make sure not to schedule with that person. We were not happy. Thankfully the grooming manager made us feel better and made it right. She was amazing. The groomers overall are wonderful and accidents do happen. Not upset at all over that. Just wish the store manager knew how to talk to people. He was awful. The grooming team is amazing and their manager and the other managers and employees may roommate spoke with were helpful, understanding and went above and beyond to make it right. I can't say enough good things about them.

We saw results after the very first lesson & after a couple of classes our dog walks on a leash without pulling. I took her class and learned so much. Much better then any other training program I have even seen or been in. My girls learned just as much as I did, heck i think I learned more. Its not just about training the dog as it is the person. I thought I was good at working with my girls till I took her class and my eyes opened to a lot of cool things.

My dog, Harley, has always been a very sweet girl but she struggled immensely with aggression and barking when she saw other dogs, or children, or sometimes just random strangers whenever we were on walks or out in public in general. She also is very stubborn and she would choose to ignore our commands or purposefully do bad dog activities when she was at home as well. We researched many dog training options before finding T&B and after one phone call with Christina we knew it was the right place to send her. Christina went above and beyond with us and with Harley. She picked Harley up from our house and dropped her off (which is a 2 hour drive each way give or take however awful Chicago traffic feels like being that day) and she sent photos and detailed updates throughout the entire train and board process. After 4 weeks of training, she felt as though Harley needed extra time to really excel so she kept her an additional week and a half, free of charge, to ensure we were getting our money's worth and she was following through on what was the promised end result of her company as well. She spent over three hours with us when she dropped off Harley to make sure we knew the proper training commands and signals and to teach us how to properly keep up with the good behaviors Harley had learned at boarding. She taught us all the correct ways to walk her, how to implement her training inside the home, and how to correct and reward all of her behaviors as needed. Harley has been so amazing since she came home. We were worried about sending her away for a month but that month in training has ensured that the rest of her months will have such a higher quality of life. She can go anywhere and everywhere with us now and her anxiety-based aggression is no more so she isn't constantly stressed out and overwhelmed whenever we go outside. She is such a more relaxed, happy, and carefree dog due to the training and behaviors that Christina has taught her and we could not be more grateful. If you are looking into dog training, this is 100000% the right place to send your beloved pup.

It was a hard decision to let our 4 month old Iggy pup go to someone for 2 full weeks of board and…read moretrain, especially after falling so hard for our little guy named Kenny Beans! After speaking with several training programs, visiting some, and prayerfully considering what the right choice should be Madi Potts helped make our choice easy. Before we would trust anyone with our little 7.5 lb boy, we had to get a sense of one's heart. My husband and I were not looking for someone who could simply "control dogs" or "make them obey commands". We wanted someone who had a heart for dogs to have better lives with structure, less fear, and longevity due to possibilities that came with what training offered. My first inquiry call with Madi was pretty long, if I recall right. She was patient, understanding of my many questions, and willing to talk as long as I needed to feel she was safe to go to next step with. We started with a 90 min at home training session to see first hand and understand how she would personally be as a trainer with Beans. That training was stressful and also a relief as we believed we found the right person to entrust our boy to. When the day came for him to be picked up, both my husband and I were crying. It wasn't just about trusting a new person to take care of Beans, it was also the resurfaced grief of losing our whippet girl of 11 years just a few months prior. The "what ifs" where overwhelming, but we agreed we were moving forward. Madi also saw our "anguish" if you want to call it that. She quickly said she typically doesn't give an update for the first 24-48 hours but she would update us that evening. To her word, we got a picture of beans at the park and our hearts settled a bit. Throughout the two weeks, Madi was wonderful about keeping us up to date and answering questions as needed or as we annoyed her (lol we might have been a little over the top haha) She never hesitated to share and ensure our boy was learning, and struggling in some areas, but overall doing great. Now that he is back with us, we have already had one of our follow up appointments and are so thankful Madi was who helped us with Beans. He was so happy to see her and made her say goodbye before leaving (even though he was supposed to "stay", lol). Training is still a ongoing work daily, Beans still doesn't love his crate but is accepting he is safe and it's ok to not see us 24/7 (Italian greyhounds are Velcro dogs to the max!) This was an emotional, time, and financial investment that we continue to place priority on. I know many will say do not board and train an Iggy, but for our family, giving him and us the tools to have a successful life together was important. We did our due diligence and don't regret our decision. Actually we are extremely grateful we found Madi and Suburban K9. When she left after our last follow up session she looked at Beans, gave him a scratch and said "I love you". I have no doubt she does, for that I am thankful. It is my hope everyone will find someone as knowledgeable and kind hearted toward an animals as Madi is. Thank you Suburban K9 for helping us learn puppy manners with Madi. We are forever grateful. While…read morewaiting, I overheard the owner & another groomer badmouth & gossip the owners of a pet being groomed... beyond disappointing! I walked out & won't be returning. Talk about unprofessional! I had heard mixed reviews before dropping in & now got to experience it firsthand. Definitely not a business that deserves my business if they feel so open about trashing their customers! Maybe next time you want to put your customers down you should look around & make sure you don't scare any away! They don't deserve my hard earned money or probably yours either! Shame on you Jenny, and you are also setting a bad example for your employees! Your customers deserve your loyalty & not for you to talk badly about them in the environment they entrust you in to take care of their fur babies!
