My puppy's hair was wild and crazy, so I brought her in to be groomed. We were lucky enough to meet with Paris who suggested puppy trims until her fur grew out correctly and I'm so glad we did because 7 month later her fur is growing out beautifully all thanks to Paris. She takes pride in her work and is very loving to my pup.

Do not ever go here! They refused after 10 years of grooming my sweet cairn terrier to groom her anymore.... BECAUSE she's blind now? How much more can one say? Robert was out groomer and even babysat Scarlett... how DARE he!!!! They're also a rip off... Enter at your own risk!

If you're looking for a reliable and really talented groomer, ask for Tom. He knew in an impressive way how to handle my dog (which is not easy) and make him feel comfortable. He did a really good job with my yorkie's haircut and was super helpful! I only trust him as my dog's groomer for now on!

This particular location unfortunately has lost some of the sparkle. Dim lighting, not organized, no overhead music, there's literally no ambiance. My dog's grooming appointment was scheduled for 9:00 AM, yet she was not finished until approximately 4.5 hours later. During this time, I returned multiple times to the salon and personally observed my dog confined in a cage for more than three hours without grooming being performed. It was clear that the salon overbooked appointments while operating with only three groomers on staff. Additionally, the groomer originally assigned to my dog was changed without my knowledge or consent, and the replacement groomer appeared inexperienced and rushed through the service simply to complete it after hours of delay. The final grooming result reflected this -- rushed, careless, and not acceptable given the amount of time my dog was kept waiting. This is the second time I've experienced this issue at this location, and this visit was significantly worse than the first. Leaving dogs crated for hours due to staffing and scheduling problems is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about animal welfare. I am extremely dissatisfied and expect this issue to be addressed.

When I would drive up to Rocco's, my dog would get so happy and excited - this is how I know that she was in good hands. Leby would send me a daily report on my dog's progress or if she had any setbacks that day. She would also suggest techniques that I could use at home to help my dog with her anxiety/aggression issues and how to teach her commands. You can tell that Leby truly loves animals and that she loves what she does. Your dog is in good hands with Leby.

He was jumpy, it was hard for me to control him and it was offensive to others because he weighs 65 lbs. i like fixing things, so we put ourselves through training with Mike & Champion Dog Training. At the first lesson i was excited and felt great leaving, but during the first week i was scared to enforce because doggie was sensitive to the collar. Mike gave me a little pep talk over the phone and we made it to our 2nd lesson. I cannot get him into a down/stay using force, Mike says Im soft on him, but he's doing great with everything else we learned. Stay, Stand, Sit, Heel, he's a very smart boy & im very proud. We have continued practicing even after completing the 4 week course. I now feel confident I can control him and there has been a shift in Big D., like he knows I expect more and is waiting on my que. I would strongly advise anyone considering AYP Training to think twice before sending their dog…read morethere. After having our dog for 24 days, it became very clear there was a complete lack of communication, professionalism, and understanding of our living situation. We live in a high-rise condo, yet somehow they spent weeks training our dog to go outside in a backyard setting -- something that does not apply to our home at all. How this was never clarified during nearly a month of training is beyond concerning. What's even more upsetting is that our dog came back terrified of car rides, which was never an issue before. As owners, that is heartbreaking to witness. After reviewing the videos and conditions of the trainer's home, we were honestly shocked. The house appeared trashed, chaotic, and nowhere near the professional environment we were promised when paying for "professional" dog training services. Nothing about this experience reflected the level of care, structure, or quality that was advertised. We invested a significant amount of money trusting this company with our dog, and the results were disappointing from start to finish. Between the misrepresentation, poor communication, and lack of professionalism, this experience felt extremely misleading. Save your money and do your research before trusting this company with your pet.

Attending the group sessions is also wonderful for socializing your dog. Beyond the basics they have agility training and other advanced classes. AYP also has excursions like a beach day... we're hoping to catch that with our current foster dog Velcro!

Also Rolan was gracious enough to give us tips and tricks to teach our dog Harry new commands and tricks by ourselves which is great for continued training at home. Service was excellent. Always punctual. Always kind. Our dog sits, stays, walks next to use, great off leash, great with our kids (even the 2yr old), recall is on point, fetches, rolls over, door behavior is exceptional. Do not use! They use clients' dogs as bait dogs to test the success of their aggressive dog…read moretraining! After reading the positive reviews, my boyfriend entrusted GI K9 to work with his rescue pup on her aggressive/defensive tendencies, inclusive of a 3 week boarding and training program in October 2022. Shawn, the owner, told him with confidence that he thought she'd significantly improve with a 2 week training (a hefty price tag at $140/night). GI K9 then weaseled another $1,000 out of my boyfriend for a promising additional week of training, providing false hope that it would make an even bigger difference. On the evening of 11/16/2022, my boyfriend took his dog to group training at GI K9, which he gained access to on an unlimited basis after completing the 3 week training. Fabian (trainer) wanted to try an exercise - harnessing and tying up my boyfriend's 65 lb dog while walking another group training attendee's dog in front of her as bait. My boyfriend questioned the safety of this exercise but was assured by Fabian that it would be okay. My boyfriend's dog easily got loose and attacked the other dog, requiring 2 grown men to pull the dogs apart. This should have never happened. There was a severe lack of judgment on Fabian's decision to execute this training exercise. GI K9 should have evaluated the risks associated with this exercise, which my non-expert boyfriend quickly acknowledged was questionable at best. GI K9 will not refund my boyfriend, despite the clear lack of success in their training plan, and have basically blown smoke up his and the other family's behinds that they can't refund either party due to the time they spent training (which again, obviously wasn't successful). How has GI K9 attempted to resolve this issue? Shawn's solution is additional training... how insulting. Do you trust them to act in your pet's best interest after hearing this? Shawn claims they'll be creating a new group training structure moving forward to separate aggressive and non-aggressive dogs; where was that common sense prior to this incident? He also claims he'll be addressing Fabian's lack of judgment on the matter; how does that change the crushed hope we had that this ongoing training would help? It took Shawn until the next day to even contact my boyfriend acknowledging the incident, despite the fact that he was made aware of it by Fabian the evening it occurred. My boyfriend is absolutely devastated and the other family is traumatized, and understandably so. Please, for the sake of your furry loved ones, reconsider using GI K9. This has caused us great heartbreak after getting our hopes up for a successful training and draining the bank account. GI K9's lack of reconciliation on the matter has only added salt to the wound. The only respectable action on GI K9's part in this entire situation was Fabian's acknowledgement of full responsibility for the lapse in judgment that led to the attack.
